We went to Lucky Pie last night for dinner and it was a great decision! We went during Happy Hour (4pm - 6pm) which I highly recommend. The drink prices and apps are really cheap and delicious. Â The peanut brittle and bacon is amazing and the fried olives were unique and yummy. We tried the Wild Mushroom pizza and the Popeye pizza with bacon added. Â They were both really good pizzas and everyone ate both of them. Our waiter, Kristopher was funny and personal with us which made the experience great. Â The actual restaurant is decorated very nice and they have a bar/lounge area or a dining area depending on your mood.
Review Source:Delicious! Â Went with a group of colleagues at lunch, there were 5 of us. Â We ordered a bunch of small plate snacks to start - the cheese curds, the vegetable spread, the kale chips, the minute mozz, and the bacon peanut brittle - all were delightful. Â Then we ordered two pizzas - the Popey, and the the wild Mushroom - both were so good, although the Popey was the favorite of the group. Â All that food - we had slices left over, and we only spent about $55. Â Great deal, we left very satisfied.
Review Source:First of all, everything I had here was delicious. I wish I could give 6 stars.
We were seated immediately, our server was at our table very quickly and was very thorough in explaining the menu to me and in offering suggestions for drinks. Â Possibly the friendliest waitstaff I've ever had. Â I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant.
The food menu is two pages I think, and I really would have like to have tried... at least half of the things on the menu. Â Next Time. :) Â We weren't extremely hungry, so my friend and I decided to split the prosciutto pizza. Â It was definitely big enough for two (we had several pieces left over). Â It was absolutely delicious. Â As much as I want to try ALL of the other pizzas, I don't know how I would be able to skip this next time.
I also had to try a charcuterie plate. I believe I had the napolitana meat, along with smoked mozzarella, and marinated olives. Â I am an olive snob: they were good. Â The napolitana was good, but I would have liked it to be a little spicier. Â The smoked mozzarella was heavenly. Â Like... two weeks later, my mouth is still watering when I think of it. Â I'm checking flight prices to see when I can come back for more. Â You get the picture.
For all the delicious options on the food menu, the drink menu is insane. Â So many pages of beers. It was really tough to choose. Â Our waitress offered a recommendation and I was really happy with the choice.
