A hidden gem for a really cool wine store and wine bar in Culver City.  The two owners are wonderful and make you feel at home and love to expose people to new  and fun wines.  They are always pouring something amazing from their wine bar which is a big reason why you must stop by often!  Perfect place to host a private party/group or wine dinner as the space is very super cool nothing like it in Southern CA!!!
Review Source:Todd and Michael are outstanding, involved, friendly owners. Â They have taken over a great, large industrial warehouse and converted it into a warm, inviting, fun space. Â Redd Collection is a mixture of wine shop and wine bar, with great staff and ecclectic products. Â
They have specialty wines tastings each week with wines that are top rated. Â They offer great bargain tables of wine, and have a cozy area with a big screen TV and couches to use. Â
Worth a visit...you will enjoy!
Michael and Todd are doing the right thing. Â They have free tastings of what they are selling on Friday and Saturdays - all day. Â Lots of friendly folk stop in, so it is always interesting to chat with other wine friendly people. Â
This is a wine shop and a wine bar. Â They have specialty wines tastings each week with wines that are rated above 95 points. Â They have a great bargain table of wines which are perfectly OK, but need to get out of the way of new shipments. Â There is a cozy area with a big screen TV and couches to use. Â Bring your own cheese and others munchies, if you like, they encourage it. Â Join their e-mail club (free) and get weekly notices of their activities.
My most recent visit included tastings from around the world, New Zealand, Spain, Australia, France and four growing regions of California. Â Tastings included bottles priced at $10 and above $170. Â I left with a case after paying $160 for $250 worth of wine.
I got a small group together for my birthday to check out The Redd Collection a couple blocks away from my home. Â Every Friday and Saturday they have wine tastings from 11-6. Â The place is spacious for you to roam around and check out their inventory. Â You are more than welcomed to bring in your own nibbles to enjoy with your wine. Â My group skipped the wine tasting and checked out their SALE section of wines. Â There was a lot to choose from for an afternoon of wine drinking. Â I think we killed about 4 bottles between the 7 of us. Â And everyone really liked their Nirvana recliners that were parked in front of the television. Â I will probably make a return visit on a nice day to enjoy a glass of wine and relax in a Nirvana chair.
