    Great Lounge!!!!

The hubby and I got to CUT a little early, so we opted to sit at the Sidebar lounge while we waited for our table.

I love the feel of this lounge, its dimly lit, with an intimate side and a more casual side with flatscreens where you can watch the game.

The noise level in this lounge is peeerfect! Cause when its too quiet it can get a little weird, but when its too loud its just obnoxious... this place was just right!!

As far as drinks go, I got one of their hand crafted coctails, the 'Show Me Love'. DANG! these bartenders sure know how to make a great drink! My cocktail was sweet and sassy, just what I needed to start the night!!!

You can also order bar bites or just enjoy your drinks with the complimentary spicy almonds and olives!!

    I would definitely come back!!!

One of my best nights out in L.A (recently relocated here from the east) I decided to check this lounge out because I enjoy a sexy ambiance and per Yelp reviews this seemed like the place to go.

I was right and enjoyed every minute. So I came on a Friday night and parked literally on the street near valet (not a long walk at all) This is at the Beverly Wilshire hotel and across from a restaurant called Cut..so a lot of people are walking in and out the busy vibe is exciting. Anyway so I walk in and the lights are dim I like the classy decor and the people are nice looking.

I order a glass of wine..the bartender was quick and I took a seat..I met some interesting and  people and really enjoyed the scene.  A friend of mine arrived and we moved over to the sofa and enjoyed a intimate conversation The waitress was pretty attentive during the night. We ended up staying until it closed due to the comfortable vibe and great drinks.

I would for sure go back.

The clientele maybe douche, the place could be just a layover to Cut. But the bartender ROCKS! (no pun intended)

This is like an old school bar with modern make up. The bartender (Muear?) remembers guests by their name, what's their drink of choice last time, and even the details in their small talk (like happy birthday to your niece/nephew).

However, they are a little strict about changing their cocktail formula (which is understandable) and makes very good recommendation of liquor of your liking. You can make endless talk about Bourbon with the guy.

The price could be stiff, the atmosphere could be awkward.

But hay, this is THE Four Seasons in Beverly Hills; you should know you will get a little bit of old school New York even in its ultra modern form.

My lady has some intriguing friends or people she associates with for various strange needs she has. I don't mind this as long as she keeps these folks at arms reach and they never step foot in our house.
Her friends asked us out to give this hotel bar a try. These friends of hers we'll call Elizabeth and John are very forth coming with their private life and by our second drink (possibly their third) they had forced the topic of bathroom sex and all it's tawdriness. Despite my history with such activities I did not offer any info. The Lady by my side was grateful.
Sidebar is a slick hotel bar at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons and adjacent to Cut the people here seem to be on the flesh with money but in LA you never know.
I enjoyed a satisfactory vodka martini and a shrimp cocktail(not something I ever order but it just seemed to have to happen)
But . . . Sidebar is cool for a hotel bar i guess, I guess out would bring me down from my room to check out what other freaks I'm sharing a building with.
My second martini was as good as the first and just as expensive.

the bartender was curt with us as expected and there weren't many smiles going around with the staff but I suppose that's the norm when working on a Saturday night.
    Would I come back?
No, not unless I found myself staying here.

YUMMY drinks.  Stopped in before dinner at CUT and loved their drinks.

I had their Bellinissima - it's a mouthful...I just pointed.  It had Ciroc vodka, peach, lemon, and prosecco.  YUM.  Too bad they didn't make it with Ciroc peach - my fave!

He had the pear martini which I'm guessing is a Wolfgang favorite because we've had these at all 3 of his restaurants we've visited.

Definitely a nice place to chill waiting for your reservation

honestly....i would expect something a bit less 'common place' at the beverly wilshire hotel....kno what i mean? they even messed up the cocktail i ordered&i gave them what booze goes in2making the cocktail....no other bar has ever messed it up before (&it's my signature drink so i always have it when i'm out) but this place took4tries to finally 'get it rite'...i mean, how HARD is it to mix part this&part that&make a fricking cocktail!??!? i also don't like the decor here....like i said, too 'common place' feeling&feels a bit crammed....!

Sidebar isn't so much a stand alone bar, but more so a nice waiting area for your table to be ready at the upscale steakhouse Cut.  Being as such, I expected a much more negative experience.

We went for the Yelp Happy Hour Deal (50% off drinks) and I totally expected the waitress to either not know what we were talking about and be grumpy that she had to go ask a manager, roll her eyes at girls coming in for cheap drinks because we might stiff her tip, or just be snooty because it's Beverly Hills and that's what they do there.  The waitress we had was such a sweetheart, though!  She was friendly, attentive, and as soon as we mentioned the Yelp Deal, she instantly smiled and named the three drinks included in the deal.

I got the Bellinisimo and absolutely loved it.  I appreciated the snacks they bring everyone, a tray of olives, cinnamon almonds, and wasabi peas.

I liked the music, but then, that's because I have a secret fondness for Britney Spears and the like.  The crowd certainly wasn't a mingling crowd, because as I mentioned they're all just really waiting for their dinner tables to be available.

Overall, I don't think there's any reason I would really come back unless I was in the area and it was early enough for happy hour, because that drink was really delicious but I won't be paying $17 for one.

We come here for some drinks, waitress are not the nicest. The bar needs a nice look it was not the best deco but whatever.
I order one Pearfect Martini my husband 3 shots of johnny blues and coke... The pearfect Martini was so strong it felt as if I had 2, I did not need more then one. The people that come here are a mix of middle eastern people/ white and asians and those girls that you know are not suppose to be in there
( just looking for a sugar daddy or a drunk guy to pick them up)

I prefer to go to windows bar way high end and nice music.

Looking for a night cap we went to the Wilshire, thinking of going to the the Blvd lounge, but the girl at the front desk, recommended this place. Always ready for something new, we went.

Very nice decor, very good service even thou the waitress didn't know exactly how to explain something on the menu, but she kept trying. The wine is good, and so are the drinks, but they are expensive compared to other places, but you are at the Beverly Wilshire.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that a couple of friends ordered the glass of wine/cheese plate combo, and it took a long time for them to bring it, and it isn't a huge plate. Maybe the kitchen was swamped. This place is kind of the bar/lounge for CUT.

If you go, try and have a place in the sofa area, it is really comfortable, and you have a good view of the place.......

Wait staff is awesome. They even gave me the "hey dont i know you from somewhere routine" and I'm all like "yeah of course you do" but aomt no thing.  Try the sliders and complimentary olives.  They are lile a mini-game trying to stab them with toothpicks

Two glasses of wine - $40...  Free plate of cured olives, spiced almonds, and wasabi peas - Priceless!  Great place to sit and kibitz while waiting for friends to arrive for Wolfgang's new restaurant!  Plus you'll be in the lobby of the Pretty Woman hotel!  Good times!

If you can push past the fact that you'll be in a room surrounded by "escorts" and old businessmen this place is great! People watching and the baked Alaska are what make this place one of my favorites, servers are really nice too which is always a plus.

This was my second visit here. Popped in after an event at 2 Rodeo Drive on a super busy Thursday night. Even though it was busy we were immediately approached by the manager who got our drink order & promised us a table within 10 minutes. Our drinks arrived in 5 and within 10 we were at a very cozy primo table with sofas.

The drinks were strong and tall (me likey). We got the tuna tartare, kobe sliders (that were so tiny and cute we didn't wanna eat them & yes we did and they were awesome) & hand-cut fries with truffle sauce & ketchup. The food was yummy and really piqued my interest to try Cut, the restaurant across the hall.

Non-happy hour it's a little pricey & I could live without the glare of the basketball games playing but the very diverse crowd of hipsters, over-pulled Beverly Hills types, models & the guys that chase them seemed to be into it.

I'm always down for a great off the beaten track happy hour spot and can't wait to add this to my list! 5 - 7 pm $7 cocktails (normally $17), $7 wines and $7 apps. Very nice. Though 5 - 7 is a little short!

As an added aside Whitney Houston was standing outside as we left. A very cool celeb sighting! M*

I've only been here to eat, but we dropped by late Friday for drinks. There weren't many people and we nabbed a table and couch easily. I ordered a Blackberry Añejo - Gran Centenario Añejo Tequila, Blackberry, Cointreau. Friend had two grey goose vodkas, straight up.

A couple of cinnamony almonds, wasabi peas, olives, and you're set for a great night chatting away. The server comes around to refill your glasses and check up. The crowd is chill, not too standoffish, and definitely not of the Hollywood but more BH vibe. It's a great place to end the week and start the weekend.

Cute place next to CUT (divine steak) at the Beverly Wilshire...trendy and fruity cocktails...romantic ambience and crowd. Loved it!

I love this place. Its perfect for meeting up with a few friends for drinks without dealing with the club/lounge craziness in other places.
Its fun cause you can get really dressed up and you won't look out of place. Its definitely where the guest at the Beverly Wilshire hang out. And everyone is wearing designer clothes.

The drinks are good but all over $10. But they come with a tray of nuts, chips and wasabe peas (which I LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!)
Since CUT is right across the hallway from this bar, you often have Wolfgang Puck come in and say hello. He's very friendly and would come and ask whether you're enjoying yourself.

I often love to go here for drinks with my fiance for celebrating a good day at work.

Sidebar is one of the best kept secrets of Beverly Hills! I've been here for happy hour and non-happy hour and I have to say, I love this place!

For all you frugal snobs out there, happy hour is 5-7pm m-f with $7 cocktails (normally $17), $7 wines/other well drinks, and $7 apps. They even give you free munchies to nosh on while you wait for your food/drinks! Score!

By the way, the menu is the same as Cut's with some additions such as the kobe sliders ($7 during hh) and some other small sandwich type offerings. So come here if you can't get a Cut ressie on a busy wkd night or come here if you've spent too much $$ shopping on Rodeo and can't afford a $15 martini at Bar on 4.

Lame as expected for 4Seasons hotel, but awesome drinks, comfortable seating and cool music in the background

We had blackberry martini and mojito - so delish and punchy, as good as it gets! They serve drinks with a tray of spices&olives which worked well with mojito. One can order food from a small menu (kobe beef sliders!) or from Wolfgang's CUT across the hall (!!!).

Two stars off for mediocre looking staff and same goes for crowd and having sports channel on a big screen TV (tip to mgmt: unless u going for after-work-sportsbar-crowd think FashionTV - u are on corner of Rodeo Dr, think about it). Special bonus for playing hip-hop most of the time but it was a bit too loud for a lounge

A bit rich for my blood but went here for drinks with some older family friends, since we were going to be taking them out to dinner in WeHo and neither the Motherlode nor a dive bar would be a suitable option for some fifty-somethings.

The bar is small-ish but clean and sleek.  Definitely comfortable for a conversation place though it did start filling up/getting loud on our way out.  And the seats were not what you'd call comfortable.  Music was not exactly my choice, especially given how early we were there (around 7pm, but the music was more suitable for midnight).  However, they did make me a Shirley Temple, so at least they like us DDs.  Unfortunately, the Shirley Temple was not the best - but who really orders those at classy joints like this?  Moot point.

We liked that they gave us some complimentary nibbles... they are all spicy - even the sweet-ish nuts had a spicy punch at the end.  The other drinks that my group ordered looked and apparently tasted good, but dang, they're expensive.  (Note: of course, it's at the frickin' Beverly Wilshire... what am I thinking?)

We didn't order food, but what other people got looked mighty tasty - sliders, dishes with tableside presentation, yum.  And the waitstaff was very attentive and kept asking us if we wanted refills... they just weren't attentive when we needed to hightail it out of there to make our reservation.

We were too cheap to valet, but there's plenty of street parking on Beverly Blvd., just a stone's throw away.

Servers act like they would rather be elsewhere with no supervisor or manager present. Outrageous pricing $17.00 + tax per drink. Cheap furniture not worthy of Four Seasons.

I get it. I look like a baby. I'm 22, but I look 11. If you need to card me, that's fine. I also understand this is a classy establishment, so you're going to want to go about it in the most discreet, polite way possible. However, letting me sit at a table, browse the drink menu, chit-chat with me about the current basketball game thats being currently broadcasted (GO CELTICS!), giving me deeee-lish complimentary small bites, and THEN coming back over to lean down and whisper 'well, ladies, how bout some IDs? You look quite young' is just tedious. Why'd you let me get all cozy? Sure, man, I'll show you my ID. Yup, it's from NJ! Nope, it's not fake, although I see the way you're eyeing us both up and down. If you have a problem with me, ask to see back-up. I promise, I have it.

Otherwise, fine fine fine. Service was at a level it should be for a small bar in a 5 star hotel, I couldn't be more pleased with my server-selected Pinot Noir, and hey- you DID have the Celtics game on.

I liked the atmosphere in here, how people were quite casually dressed and just chilling. I don't know how much drinks cost since our hosts paid, but I didn't think the Bellini was all that great. I do like the fact that you are able to order food in here! Try the Kobe beef sliders! If you're just drinking they bring out olives, nuts and wasabi peas and these are the really good Kalamata olives. I didn't think the seats were very comfortable -- I'm talking about the ones along the window. The 'sofas' aren't very comfortable and if you should get stuck on one of those one seaters, then forget it. Totally UNcomfortable!

Sit on a bar stool or at a table. Unlike other bars, they allow children in here because I saw other kids besides my own in there. Not sure if it's because they were waiting for their table at Cut or what, but there were a few kids dotted around.

It's a nice place to go if you don't want a full meal at Cut, but still want the experience.

Hung out here while waiting for our table at Cut, nice place but drink prices are totally ridiculous, I think I ordered 3 drinks and it came to 55 dollars, I was thinking man, I can get drunk four times over for 55 dollars.  I gotta admit that Veev Vodka was real tasty though, not 18 dollars a drink tasty but still good.  I guess I'd recommend this place if you're one of the lucky people who actually have a lot of money to burn in this economy, otherwise save your money and go drink after dinner.

I just got a visit from my friend who works at the hotel and he also said he can't believe the douche-baggery that comes into side bar. We both agreed that the clientele may not be trashy but they use their intellect to be ANNOYING.

I've been for drinks with girlfriends. I like the decor but it gets REALLY crowded with people coming for drinks while they're waiting for the tables over at Cut.

A lot of older, balding men trying to get their groove on with hot, young things. Hence, minus the two stars.

Oh, and lots of cougars too.

Ultra modern lounge across the way from Cut, which serves very delicious specialty drinks, such as the bellinisima, a peach martini with champagne and vodka, and midsummer, a vodka martini with lingonberry. The music is very eclectic and random, and they do serve food from the Cut here as well. We opted for desserts, the banana cream pie was deelish, as well as the 2 orders of vanilla gelato, but I didn't care much for the chocolate pudding layer cake thing. Apparently their chocolate souffle is the thing to order, but they were not able to make it for us since the Cut was bought out by Chanel for the evening :(

I noticed a lot of rich older men, and younger, scantily clad women. Hmm.
