So I decided to try something different for lunch, and I was craving mexican. Since this is a block away from my workplace, I walked down to place a to-go order for a friend and I. I made it to the restaurant and was told to sit at the bar and wait. After about 20 minutes, I inquired about my order. The server apologized and brought it out about 10 minutes later. The order was totally wrong, and had it been just my order, I could have let it slide. I let them know about the error, and the guy at the bar ripped into the female server. She showed him that she had wrote the order down correctly and he still embarrassed her in front of everyone. I felt horrible for her, and waited for my order to be corrected. It wasn't very good, and it was still incorrect. Oh well. Don't think I'll be back.
Review Source:Sure, the food was decent.
My friend and I were there pretty early (4:45ish) on a Wednesday, which happened to be National Margarita Day according to the Google-ator. Hence why we chose to have Mexican.
Everything was pretty decent (I'm not sure why my margarita was 2 colors...). Until a new server came in for his shift and our server seemed to forget the way to act and not to act in front of customers. They were yelling back and forth across the restaurant about their paychecks, about recent phone calls, about changing phone numbers.
And our server did not stop the conversation when he was refilling our water glasses.
No joke...his part of the conversation, as he is standing right next to me filling up my water, yelling back to his buddy behind the bar, was: "She looked like Gary Coleman?! Was this before or after the head injury?"
It just seemed completely inappropriate. And unnecessary for them to have to talk that loud with only 3 or 4 customers in the place at the time.
