Very good lunch spot in Westport. Spotted Horse is an old house from the 1800s which is updated but fitted and decorated in such a way that pays tribute to the history of the house. Very big bar area, so I can imagine this being a fun Happy Hour spot.
Outdoor seating was a plus on the warm day- and I appreciated the awning that let us enjoy the outdoor air without the sunburn.
Everyone recommended the Lobster BLT, which did look delicious and contained a big portion of lobster. Â But, I went against the norm and got the chicken, Brie, and apple sandwich. There's just something about apples in a sandwich I am a sucker for, every time it's on the menu. It was delicious, very fresh, and the ciabatta bun was perfect, and still allowed me to eat the sandwich with my hands without too much of an embarrassing mess. Side salad instead of fries was key, as the sandwich was very filling.
Great service, too. Will definitely be back.
This is hands down one of the coolest places to eat in Westport! I have loved every single thing I have tried on the menu, and the staff is awesome. Great place to have lunch, dinner, or just swing by for a drink and sit at the bar. Reasonable priced, great food, great atmosphere. A++
