Love this little place for what it is- a small, casual breakfast spot on the beach. I like the Farmer's Favorite (eggs, bacon, bagel, chopped salad, & cheese- $8.50). Wish the prices were better but I suppose you pay for the view.

I'm just reviewing the COFFEE.
If "coffee" is in the name of the business, I expect that it their focus. I tried the espresso and I wasn't impressed. Extracting espresso is an art and should be treated as such. They have all the right equipment, but like countless other places, they don't give it the attention that it requires. If your roaster can't show you how to do it, you can watch some videos on YouTube. You're not alone St Bart's, so don't take it too personally. I'm only telling you this because if you could master espresso and the good latte and espresso milk (they teach full classes on each so don't expect to be an expert on your first try) you could be a stand out on the beach.
I would love to come back next year and try again.

A friend recommended that we try this for a low key, casual breakfast. The view is nice and the coffee is quite good, but the food is not worth going back for.

It was fine...just not great.

Alright. French toast was good. Bacon seemed like pre cooked microwaveable kind. Coffee was good. Latte was good. Small place. It was raining so we couldn't enjoy the outside seating.

This place is where the locals hang because the food is good and reasonably priced. With all the tourist-priced places all around, this is comfort food at its best with a bit of the wacky Fort Lauderdale flair. Skip the table service and grab your breakfast and take it across the street. Sit on the wall and watch the early morning activity on the beach come to life. One of the best, non-touristy hangs on Lauderdale beach.

Chopped salad with breakfast entree? Is this a Florida thing? As in... "Farmers Favorite: Eggs, bacon, and chopped salad.

Came in to St Barts for Bfast since there aren't many choices before sunrise open on the beach. I walked from my hotel and dined al fresco just before sunrise.

The breakfast overall was solid with generous portions and the everything bagel was yummy. One con was the coffee was weak which to me is so important with bfast.

Service from the waitress was decent and prices were reasonable. Enjoy the gorgeous views and a great place to people watch. Check out the sunrise here; http://www.yelp.com/biz_…

After parking the car farther North on the A1A I went for a nice morning walk with my Man down the Beach, we stopped to have Breakfast at St. Barts Coffee Company.
The waitress seemed to be overwhelmed and told us to sit at whatever available. We had a nice table outside by the sidewalk, this place was busy!
We ordered coffee's right away, the waitress came back with One and 1/2 Mugs and told me "Watch out for the chip on the Cup" ... WTH? Ive never seen a chipped cup served before. The coffee was just OK. Some women were at a table near us and seemed to be running the waitress, milking the coffee refills for hours just hanging out on the beach .. must be nice.
My man ordered the Spinach and Feta Omelet 9$ asked for Egg White , and a bowl of Oatmeal. The 5.50$ Oatmeal came in a Huge bowl and was topped with Banana, Dried Cranberries, Walnuts, Brown Sugar, it was Delicious! Wow it was just like eating dessert. The Omelet was just OK, mine was better!
I ordered the Roasted Pepper & Herbs Omelet 9$ (I got Egg White too so Additional $). It was soo Amazing we were both re-creating the Omelets for weeks at home and for dinner too! It was Perfectly cooked egg whites with a Pesto-like Sauce with Roasted red pepper they were married in Harmony. Really a Must Try Dish to Have!
The Omelets come with a Chopped Side Salad and a Bagel. The salad was chopped Finely and had a nice dressing, def the perfect side to a Breakfast on the Beach.

I am new to the area and was looking for a fun place for breakfast on the beach. I found it here! It's a great people watching spot! The great fit bodies running on the boardwalk will wake you up more than the coffee! Nice breakfast menu featuring great omelets , eggs any style and panini's, plus bottomless refills on coffee. I had the ham omelet and it came with a nice salad, and multi grain bagel. Susan was a great server and I will definitely be back! The place is also dog friendly and opens early at 6:30am, so if you are an early bird, it is a wonderful place to watch the sunrise!

Descent coffee
mediocre counter help.

There wasn't anything particular about this place that would make me come back...not even a smile from the employees.

Burnt by burnt muffin! Smoothies were great, juice nice and fresh, but I also ordered two muffins without really seeing them. When I got back to my nearby hotel pool and opened the bag I found the banana nut muffin was burnt to a crisp! Honestly, the nuts on top were black! The edges were so burnt, only the center was edible. I didn't feel like going back, although I should have. The cranberry nut muffin was fine, but I could not beleive they would sell a totally burnt batch of muffins!

Good coffee in a spot where there somehow aren't any of the *$ locations. Sadly their Wifi was broadcasting but no one knew the password.

I started at the bar with a large coffee but shifted to a table when it opened. I was hoping that the waitress might see if I wanted anything to eat once I had a proper seat, but she didn't ask. The posted menu looked good, but a little expensive. Prices range from $5.50 to about $11 for a bagel with lox. Omelets in the middle and it's all prepared in plain sight.

Great location, right at the Ocean just south of Las Olas. Good luck parking but you'll want to be walking here anyway!

This place blows... Everything from the people that run the place, to the terrible tasting coffee they sell... (They must get their coffee grounds from out of starbuck garbage cans). This place is a waste of money, if you want something worth buying... Keep on walking by. The bathrooms are "stinking" terrible too.
My $4.00 drink went into the A1A can about 27 steps past the register.

Had breakfast on Sunday morning. I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast...maybe just to grab a cup of coffee to go. Waitress was not very friendly - just "blah". Didn't even really great us, just asked if we were ready to order.

The outdoor seating is right on the street and close to the corner. - feels like a car might jump the curb at any moment. Not a place to go with your small kids who like to run around. Indoor seating looked limit to a few tables with only 2 chairs per table.

We had lox and bagels - very disappointed because instead of getting sliced tomato's with slice onions - you get chopped tomate and onion smothered in italian dressing that tastes like a store bought dressing - YUCK! Also ordered the french toast for my daughters - also not very good - very small ordinary pieces of toast / covered with tons of sugar and cinnamon.

Coffee itself was ok - but honestly - nothing spectacular.

Looking around at other plates that came out after ours possibly the thing to order if you do go here are the omelets - they LOOKED decent - but who knows how they taste - oh and they were served with that god-awful chopped tomato and onions.

I personally would not go here for breakfast again.

Local flavor with a small, but interesting menu. I do, however, have one complaint - If you call yourself a "coffee house", you'd better be serving up a better quality coffee than this...
Considering the area, check it out

Great little breakfast spot! My husband and I ordered the bagel and lox for breakfast. The bagels were nicely toasted and they served a large amount of fresh smoked salmon. I was stuffed with just half. I also ordered an ice coffee which was perfect for the hot summer morning. My husband ordered a smoothie made with strawberry, pineapple, banana and raspberry, it was tangy and refreshing! This is the perfect little spot to enjoy a quick breakfast while enjoying the ocean view and breeze. It's also a quick hop away from the beach. I would definantly recommend it and would come again.

i was looking for a place that was within walking distance of the hotel (sheraton) to grab some breakfast. i chose this place because it was decently reviewed- but was disappointed. maybe i'm a bit of a snob, but the food was not good, and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. it is nice that it's right on the beach, but that's about all it had going for it. my granola was old and from the box, and didnt have enough banana in it. my mom's eggs were kind of gross. it was cheap though- so if cost and the ability to sit outside is important, this place would be an ok pick. and my iced latte was not bad at all. but i think i'll drive to breakfast tomorrow.

So I went back the next day and decided to try the sausage and cheese omelet. It came served with a bagel and a little salad. Didn't touch the salad (not a salad eater for breakfast), but the omelet was OK had a decent amount of cheese and sausage. Better than the day before's french toast. The whole wheat bagel was great though, a nice pleasant surprise. Coffee's still top notch.

I stopped in here for a late breakfast today, and it was far better than expected.

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall. The sign is faded, and there are many fancier restaurants nearby. I sat at a table outside on the sidewalk, with the beach right across the street. Awesome.

For breakfast I started with a Latte. Smooth, creamy, just the right strength with no bitterness. Served in a large coffee cup. Starbucks, eat your heart out.

I enjoyed French Toast with two eggs and bacon. The French Toast was made from a cressant sliced in half, and served with banana slices. Delicious. The bacon and eggs were properly prepared. And no one was rushing me to finish.

Total bill was $14 including tip.

Quick, cheap and a good breakfast meal and the coffee isn't bad either.

We found this place while walking down the boulevard. Such a fancy name for this no frills cafe. What's great is that breakfast is served all day. There is outdoor seating but when we got there, all tables were taken. We found two seats at the counter at the back. Service is attentive and food came out quick. We ordered the farmers entree which was eggs, bacon, bagel and a side salad. What I didn't like was being inside the cafe. We sat at the counter, which had full view of the dirty dishes & garbage piling up and very close to the bathrooms. This place can use a good clean scrub and bleach. Better to sit outside and enjoy the beach view.

When you're out too late the night before cruising the beach and feel a bit like a cave man - Coffeeeee. Goooood.

There are two St. Barts on the beach - one on the corner across from Primanti's and another down a bit on the beach near the Elbo Room.

The one across from Primanti's is my fave of the 2. Their hummus is really great - order anything with that in it or the combo plate. You can chase a hangover away with a healthy breakfast sandwich or wrap for lunch - they are all good, really. And of course-- there's lots and lots of coffee.

Praise to you, St. Barts.

Not quite a 4 star but definitely a high 3 overall rating. On the hunt for a coffee shop within walking distance along A1/Ocean we finally heard about this place and thought we'd check it out along our morning walk. Coffee was pretty weak and wouldn't recommend but the in-house muffins were DELISH. ended up getting a blueberry and chocolate chip and they were perfecto. so good in fact we went out of our way the next day to go back for some more. Also had a salad and panini which were just ok. The staff were very friendly and the tables outside are a great place to sit and lookout to the water.

I was at Fort Lauderdale beach on Saturday morning, and nothing else was open yet, so I grabbed some breakfast here. It is basically a little hole in the wall-type place right across the street from the beach. The breakfast was ok, but not great, and they charged me four bucks for a little bottle of orange juice. On the bright side, the service was friendly and the view was wonderful. If you are looking for a tasty cup of coffee with a nice view in a relaxed setting, then this is a good call, but I would not go out of your way to eat here.

Bleary eyed, dragging my derriere to the finish line of the Ft. Lauderdale 13.1 run, and no, I wasn't running, I was going to cheer my very own Superman in the race - Angels started singing as I smelled coffee and saw they were open.

I love you.

Service at that ungodly hour on a Sunday (7:30AM) was with a huge smile and completely wonderful. What can I say.. they were really, really, nice.

Trying to figure out if I wanted coffee or hot tea (it was 65 degrees) they offered some really great suggestions, I had a nice hot latte and the most delicious scone I have ever had. It was not a typical scone, and it was probably chock full of fat but mmm mmmm good.

I sat on their outdoor patio staring at water while enjoying my mediocre latte with toffee nut syrup and boring bowl of granola and thought to myself "wow, I really love it here."

So yes, the food/coffee ain't anything special, but the location more than makes up for it. Serve me while just a few steps away from the beach and I don't care if you don't have sugar free syrups. I don't care if your wifi doesn't work. And I don't even care if it appears like you bought my granola at publix that morning.

The beach was enough to put a smile on my face, but the peeps who work here also happen to be very nice. They didn't seem to mind that I sat there for at least 4-5 hrs and spent less than $10. And one of the guys was nice enough to give me a complimentary smoothie on my way out. The smoothie was also just eh, but I've got my beach...

This place is a "gem", a great location, and I had no idea it existed here and I have lived in the area for 31 years.....I guess I don't get around enough. I wanted to find a spot to meet a cousin traveling, coming from the airport for a few hours and we wanted to sit and shoot the breeze in a nice setting without spending too much money. Soooooo......thanks to Yelp, I found this cute little place, right across the street from the beach, a few blocks south of Las Olas. I knew it was fate when we drove up and found a parking spot on the street, and a great table outside with an umbrella and the sites were like a picture postcard. I didn't even care if it was good coffee or food, I was just excited it wasn't Starbucks. My cousin had a smoothie, and I had a nice latte, we were greeted by a friendly waitress, and shared a bagel, nothing exciting, but the location makes it INCREDIBLE. Will come back again for a real breakfast with my family and walk on the beach!!

This place is kind of amazing. Why? Location; right on the beach with outdoor seating (and inside bar type seating). With that information, just about every place with this kind of location is either really expensive (regardless of the quality of food/drinks) or if it is cheap, it's crap. This place is neither. It is reasonably priced and has good coffee. Amazing, huh? I can't comment on the breakfast items or the panini's, though.

I'm kind of amazed.

Timing. So much depends on good timing. Wanna make people laugh? Work on your comedic timing. Wanna get to work on time through a normally busy commute? Work on your departure timing. Wanna drink a beverage without getting it all over your shirt? Work on your mouth opening timing.

Wanna take a vacation and not have to work the entire time you're "relaxing?" Work on the timing of your work and vacation plans.

Otherwise, like me, you wind up spending an awesome weekend in Florida babysitting a client who somehow managed to sneak a Sunday delivery in when I wasn't looking. $%^&.

Fortunately, there are places like St. Barts Coffee, who offer WiFi, breakfast served all day, a fridge full of juices, friendly service, and tables opposite the beach and ocean.

I'm simultaneously:
-writing this review
-drinking coffee
-checking my email
-enjoying the sun and breeze yet being cooled by the fans and air conditioning inside
-managing my clients' expectations and my developer's time
-watching tanned half naked bodies walk by
-charging my laptop in the convenient plugs located next to the inside tables
-eating a breakfast sandwich
-uploading my work

Not bad for an early, bright, hot Monday morning.

My only gripe is that I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon, not turkey. However... the turkey is healthier, so no worries. I'm feeling too good to send it back.

Damn fine coffee. Damn fine breakfast that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Damn fine high-energy muffins too. More local than tourist, which is a big plus.

I'd say St. Barts Coffee Co.had a damn fine view too, but the folks in the thongs (you know the ones who have no business cramming a strip of spandex up their middleaged asses?), had decided to set up camp directly in my line of view. Trust me, a mouthfull of oatmeal does not mix with an eyeful of cellulite.

But beach wear faux pas aside, this a damn fine place to find a healthy, inexpensive breakfast. Free wifi is a plus.
