Cool little dive. A big crowd of hipsters when I last went. The ambiance is great, no dress code, parking can be really bad on a busy day, prices are decent, and there's a pool table and a photo booth! Cool place to hang out with friends and catch up, the music's not too loud and they always have a classic movie playing on the out-dated TVs in there.
The bartenders are cool even though the messages written on the mirror behind the bar are prissy and douche-y. (Something along the lines of, "We don't have red bull, Jager, and Midori...::next line down:: We don't have Jager, Midori and Red Bull...see what I did there?")
Clever? No. Douche-y? Yes. On really busy days, count on standing around inside and out on the smoker's patio.

Beer & Pizza rarely goes wrong, and Tony's/Pizzanista is proof of this.

Have been living/working in this area for a few years and didn't even know Tony's existed until I'd heard about a yummy new pizza spot that had opened up.  When I finally got around the trying Pizzanista (formerly/briefly known as Toddy G's), I was surprised to find out there was a Whiskey-loving bar hiding behind in a separate spot.

I like to go there early - mellow after work crowd, nice drink (and beer) specials, and awesome service.  Plex, one of the bartenders, knows his stuff, and  makes a lovely Old Fashion (with Luxardo cherries!)   Their beer game is a bit lacking (I think they offered more/tap when I first started going there) but there's plenty else to choose from.

The place does get pretty packed later on certain nights, and the private lot usually fills up.  The 1-stall bathroom is fare from ideal, and have yet to test out the ping-pong table, but love the pool table.  Haven't tried darts out, but have done some damage in the photobooth.  Music is usually good, and probably from someones iPod, and usually reflects whichever bartender is on duty at the time.

All in all, nice lil spot to add into your bar rotation.

(also note - I absolutely love that they refuse to carry Jagermeister or Red Bull.  That just warms my heart!)

Definitely a cool place.  Nobody bad here today.  Air conditioning exposed brick interior, genuinely nice people working here! Free delicious homemade bbq on Sundays with killer chicken, boneless pork ribs,  potato salad Salvadorian sausages, chips & homemade guacamole, cucumber salad, ripe watermelon, chips and tortillas and grilled vegetables!  All homemade-family quality and did I say free? Talk about instilling goodwill in the common man! They are doing an old-school theme with love that will make your grandmother feel welcome and satisfy your party vibe needs at the same time! Much more like a family barbecue than a bar! Prost! Aaron
