Best Bloody Mary menu in LA. Food is good, portions are not massive, great outdoor seating.

Friday July 19-
Hostess was very friendly and we were seated at our choice of tables, the restaurant had maybe 3 other tables of people at 6:40 pm.  But it soon filled up, our server was a very professional model beautiful woman and she did a great job throughout. That is where the good part ends. To put it bluntly- the food is overpriced crap!. We started with 2 cocktails, my Manhattan was watered down or just poorly made but passable. Tried the appetizer sampler platter for $18! and got 4 very small and somewhat cold items. the 1 slice of fried green tomato was cold and the coating was soft. The 1 fried jalepeno tasted good but was very small, cup of macaroni and cheese with Cheetos on top tasted good but was worth about $2 and 2 deviled eggs, not bad. Overall not worth the money .  I had fried chicken and the entire plate was a total failure. The chicken was soggy and had a shake and bake texture to it, the mashed potatoes were either meant for a 4 year old or a 94 year old. while they tasted Ok, the had a apple sauce texture and ran all over the plate. No chef should have ever served something like that! great gravy though. the last thing , which I saw a number of people leaving on their plat was the collard greens., Greens have to be cooked by someone who knows how to do it or they are bitter.. These were bitter and just had a bad taste.
wrapped up the thoroughly forgettable meal with a mushy starchy bananas foster bread pudding, nice flavor but horrible consistency. Overall left $98 poorer and felt like I had been cheated. There are too many good restaurants in the area to go to the Attic and waste your money and time and I will never go back

Love this place, took outta town friends for dinner and got everything...Later took my sister had great time and then later went to brunch and was pretty awesome especially the bloody mary!
Mac n cheetos was fun, service was excellent, Innovative Bloody Marys, Short rib poutine was delicious
