I went here on a busy wednesday night before 4th of July. One many bravely tended the bar like a boss. He was quick and friendly and managed to attend to everyone in a very efficient manner. The atmosphere is nice and clean while a bit loud. Everything you'd expect from a small trendy bar of its sorts.

The beer selection was excellent covering a number of craft brews from the Pacific Northwest. Overall, if I wasn't pushing myself to try lots of different places up here in Seattle, I could see myself settling down as a regular here.

A really awesome bar to just hang out with friends, watch some games, drink, and play some shuffleboard. We were here on an early Sat night (around 8pm) and the place was fairly empty. But it also meant we had instant access to the shuffleboard!
We ordered standard fair beers, but really enjoyed the jukebox, the games, and the really awesome décor. It's a perfect casual, but not dirty bar. Definitely a place to come back with friends.
Met the owner and he was really cool!

I've been here a couple times now, on just regular nights and for trivia. Decent tap selection, haven't tried the cocktails yet.

As it turns out, they could really use some more seating/tables at trivia night, when the popularity outpaces the number of places to put your butt. They don't have their own food (besides popcorn), but Ballard Pizza Company does a brisk delivery business here- I think I saw their delivery guy come in three or four times last night.

Overall, it's a good balanced spot-- not meat-market-y, but pleasantly social. I'll definitely be back for trivia again!

The bartender was so rude and dismissive upon our arrival that we turned around and left before even sitting down.

Come for the darts, stay for the loose cabooses. This is one of my favorite places in Ballard to just hang out, get a couple of drinks, and work on my aim. The crowd is usually mellow, although it can get a bit busier and louder on the weekends. Love the high ceilings, the exposed brick, the old photos of Ballard - and the owner and the bartenders are awesome - super friendly and knowledgeable (I know what cynar is now!). The cocktail menu is small but varied and thoughtful. We'll definitely be back.

Nice little bar - upscale without being too yuppie. Good drinks available and attentive staff. They have one of those internet jukeboxes which is great for selection but it could be cheaper. Not a huge amount of seating overall, so would say this is more a place for a couple of quick jars rather than somewhere to flop all night.

I like coming to the BSPH to relax and have a drink after work. The people are friendly and welcoming. I like how they have a great selection of local brews of the Pacific Northwest! This has been a great usual spot for my friends and I to meet for a few drinks after a long day at work and the atmosphere is lively yet chill at the same time.

I love the place!  The cocktail selection is great, my personal fav is the loose caboose. (go figure)  As far as the sandwich board niether the owner or the managment had anything to do with it.  I am born and raised here and feel safe saying light the beep up seattle.  As soon as managment heard, saw, fournd out it was removed.  Should be end of story now lets have a beer at the station!

Congrats on a job well done!!  Great new spot in Ballard with fantastic drinks (try the Loose Caboose) and friendly staff.  Craig is the host with the most!  Fun place to watch sports.  Avid Sounders fans.  From trivia night to frequent charity guest bartender night, there is always something going on at BSPH.

Great venue. Open space with super friendly staff. Really good place to watch any sporting event. Personally love the Jukebox too as well as the open garage door front.
I should also mention that it is a laid back, positive clientel. Not too young...or too old. What is too old??? ;)

Just a cool pub, with great drinks, good bartenders, darts and most importantly...we loved the Shuffleboard.  Not many places have great drinks and Shuffleboard, so kudos Ballard Station Public House.  Good clean environment and it is just an easy place to hang out, talk, watch a game and throw some discs or do the dart thingy.  Great little place in Ballard and I'll be back soon.

I like the remodel, it fits this place perfect.  The bartender was taking my beer order while I was still pulling in my bar stool behind me, now that's service!  While there, I looked around to the full bar, everyone including the staff seemed happy to be there.

Went here for the first time and LOVED it.  It is a public house, so go here knowing that you're going to be getting just drinks.  They have a VERY limited food menu.  Just a couple of snacks.

A friend and I met for a pre-dinner happy hour and both had cocktails that were outstanding!  The bartender was very friendly, and came to talk to us about our drinks, and wanted to ensure that they were crafted to our liking.  I had the scratch cocktail of the day, which happened to be a whiskey sour with egg white.  True to its name, it was sour.  I hate overly sweet drinks, so this was perfect!  The egg white foam was the perfect addition, giving some substance to the drink.  My friend's drink was the equivalent of an unsweetened old-fashioned, and again, it was delicious!  He clearly has a great understanding of cocktails.

Love the interior.  The first thing I noticed when i walked in was that it smelled like new wood.  The smell was amazing!  I love the tables, and the streetcar/railroad feel that it has.  The garage door is open on sunny days, and is the perfect thing.

I look forward to coming back here again!

Great place to meet up with some friends, have a couple beers, and play some darts. They have a good beer and drink selection but not really much food. . Bartenders are nice and personable.

Like a lot of other bars in Ballard, the wood trim, hardwood floor, and exposed brick makes the ambiance very industrial and modern. They have a large garage door that open's up to Market street which is perfect for drunk people watching. Far more entertaining than regular people watching.

I read a complaint about the music  but it doesn't really seem like a valid critique on the establishment being as they have a JUKEBOX! If you don't like what they're playing, get your cheap ass up and  select something else.

Bottom line, it's a great bar to chill and grab a beer. More so, come here if want to order a drink and not be ass-to-elbows with a bunch of broseffs.

The only thing I wish this place has is live music nights.

Last thing I thought Ballard needed was another bar, but after going to the Ballard Station that is exactly what they needed.  This low key, chill, spot was perfect for my friends and I.  The bartenders were great and fun to look at :0.  We sat at the big front window and watched the going on of people passing by.  Already plan on meeting  friends there next weekend before heading to the tractor for some music.  Loved it.

Best mixed drink menu, period. As someone already said (paraphrased)- the drinks come with all the amazing and none of the bullsh!t. The cynar and lillet combo is awesome. Also, it's new and still chill, so you can do work in an awesome atmosphere or bring a bunch of friends and know you'll get a table.
Will def. be better when they get a bit more food though...

In a sea of loud poser pickup joints, Ballard Station is a nice respit. Great wine and beer selection, and fantastic drinks by very skilled bartenders who do not give you the elitist bartender service(the ones who act like their doing you a favor). The space is new, fresh and stylish. They exposed the original brick walls when remodeling, so it has a very open airy type feeling with high ceilings and a huge garage door that opens to the sidewalk. The location(on Ballard and Market) makes it ideal to end up at after having dinner at one of the nearby restaurants. So, great drinks, fun relaxing atmosphere, good service with a smile, all the while being un-trendy and inviting. Highly recommended!

Okay, first of all I want to clarify one thing -- the music is chosen by the customer via a jukebox. So, if a band called Pop Evil is played, it's because a customer chose it. That being said, I found the atmosphere fun and the staff very friendly.

We came for our 25th reunion, and this was the perfect place for everyone to get together, mingle and drink. I had the Dharma Bum specialty cocktail, which was amazing. It was grapefruit, gin and cucumber -- a combination that sounded just weird enough to be good. And it was excellent and refreshing. I loved that mason jars were used as drinking vessels for many of the beverages that were served, including water.

Since there were a lot of people in the bar for this event, the bay window was such a treat. I think it would have been unbearable if this wasn't open. But, the interior was very cool with it's railroad touches, brick walls and timber tables. The space is very long, with dartboards (darts with real metal tips, not those plastic ones!), and the shuffleboard table in the very back makes this a fun place to hang out.

The atmosphere is super laid back, as others have said, but the staff is very friendly, and the drinks are pretty fanfriggintastic! I highly recommend coming here to hang out, drink some great cocktails and be treated by royalty by the staff.

BSPH is a fantastic addition to the Ballard bar scene.  The ambience is trendy yet casual and stays true to the old Ballard building vibe.  The cocktail list is creative and delicious with my favorite being the Loose Caboose. They have great local beers (and wines) on tap along with a nice selection of ciders and tall boys. You must try the popcorn and almonds too! The bartenders and owners are super cool and friendly.  This is definitely my new watering hole! Welcome to the hood boys! Cheers!

Love love love it!  The atmosphere is nice and laid back, the place is clean and well taken care of and the garage door is a nice touch for people watching.  The first time I have ever tasted a hard cider that I liked and great cocktails from friendly bartenders!!  A great place for a group gathering or just prefunk'n.  We joined the "mug club" so I guess we'll be regulars!!!  Looking forward to check'n off the list local beers!!  Definitely worth a stop by!

This place rocks! It's a great "grown-ups" bar for people who are looking for quality drinks and authentic bar staff hospitality. I have recently resigned to ordering wine when I frequent bars because if I'm going to have a drink, I want not to have to blame the bartender for making a poor drink since I never know if they will water it down or if I will get cheated on the liquor ratio! I heard, however, that this place is home to a couple of the best mixologists in Seattle and I was soon to discover that myself. I highly recommend the Loose Caboose cocktail which is perfect for a summer refresher; the grapefruit zing is dangerously light! I also loved the Hot Shot which was delightfully different with its mild, subtle bite from the jalapeno garnish. While enjoying my flavorful libations and enjoying great company with friends, the owner, Craig Walker made delightful walk-arounds, shaking hands with patrons and adding a personal touch to the welcome atmosphere. This will definitely be a regular hangout!

Have you ever heard of a band called Pop Evil? Of course not. You're not an asshole.

What is it with this location and ear splitting, awful music? Ballard ave pub had the same issue.

Food menu looks ignorable, and we couldnt drink our beers fast enough to get away from the satellite tv nu metal that was blaring through the establishment.

They do appear to have darts and the open air garage bay window is a nice touch.
