No table service when we came, so standing around waiting and waiting for service was by far the least fun part of our evening. Ordered the jerk chicken plate - pretty good value ($12 I think) and tasty. The burger was small and forgettable for $10, but not bad. They were out of the ingredients for two cocktails I ordered, so I went with something else and hated it. I ordered something different and thankfully one of the bartenders stopped the one serving me from charging me for it.  Got a pitcher of Brooklyn Ale for $15, damn good deal! The outdoor space was full on a Tuesday at 7pm and I expect its crowded on the wknds.  I will definitely be returning and am excited to try their other drink specials ($3 mimosas sat-sun till 4pm, among others).  Welcome addition to the 'hood (and replacement to Loreley)

This bar is totally chill, inviting and spacious. Perfect for groups and day drinking.

My first visit was on a weekend during the recent extreme heat wave, thus the outdoor patio area was pretty much inhabited and most people were hanging out in the indoor space. Battery Harris offers a pretty good list of beers, simple cocktails, and some wines on tap. The rose and Chardonnay/Riesling they had on tap were both pretty good, as was the Doc's cider which quenched my thirst. Unfortunately we weren't able to try some of the awesome sounding food such as the coconut cornbread and jerk chicken wings as the bf and I visited right after a hearty late brunch nearby.

The people who work here are very friendly as well, not at all pretentious or snooty. Another thing Brooklyn has over the city, I suppose.

Despite the horrid humidity and lack of a breeze, this place is fantastic to have a casual hangout. Usually when I get out of the Lorimer Ave station, I head to either Union Pool or Barcade but now I know a 10mn walk will lead me to this cool spot.!

Both the patio and indoor space is spacious. My friends and I found our little corner on the patio and we were taken care of well by a waitress. Their menu, both food and drinks, look good. I just stuck with a Doc's Cider but both the birthday girl and another friend chose to go with one of their Frozies. On this particular day, it was a Dark n Stormy so basically, it was a cocktail slushy. They seemed to enjoy it.

I'll definitely return to try their food and their cocktails in the near future when I'm on this side of Williamsburg!

Very nice new place. Very friendly staff but they need to learn the food & drink menus just a bit better. Great beers yay! Excellent sound system. Nice outdoor space.

A cool bar with a few capable bartenders.  What I liked most about this place is the outdoor seating.  It's communal and plentiful.  There are a decent amount of restrooms and you don't have to go to the bar every time you need some water.

Draught beers are moderately priced and the music is usually a hit.  However, I ordered an Old-Fashioned from 2 different bartenders and received 2 different drinks.  One drink tasted more like a manhattan and the other was spot on.

Other than that, this place is tip-top...

    I love this place!

They have a canopied outdoor area w/ both communal and regular tables. The indoor space is airy and cool albeit a bit dark. Both inside and outside areas share one bar (you can order from either side) and the layout is fantastic and imaginative.

Drinks were amazing too- they have gluten free beer, frozen dark and stormies (yayyy!), and $3 jalapeno mimosas during brunch.

My boyfriend got the jamaican patties and I had the jerk-dusted fries with our drinks. They were seasoned really well and it made us full.

Service was excellent too- our waitress was very friendly and she really took care of us when we were there. We got to meet the owner unexpectedly because he was fixing the bulb behind us and he asked us what we thought of the place.

Overall, I definitely am a fan. Everyone is just chill and since it's a new bar, it's not too crowded yet so get here quick.

Incredible new bar! Batter Harris just opened a few weeks ago right near the Graham and Lorimer L stops, near Union Pool. It's half outside and half inside, and there's a big skylight. Additionally, the bar serves both the inside and the outside so there's a ton of opened space and it's so bright and airy and has a great energy. Outside, there's tents and benches and lots of plants, so it certainly feels like a place you could spend a few hours.

We had gone over yesterday because Vice was having a party there, and it was a great time. The vibe in Battery Harris is fun and energetic but not chaotic or overwhelming in the least. The drinks are great, there's over 20 beers on tap and they always have discounts for things like happy hour, $3 mimosas on Saturday, $20 Red Strip beer buckets last Tuesday, and more. They've also got an incredible food menu, and the food yesterday looked and smelled so delicious; if I hadn't just stuffed my face with Bamboo Bites at Smorgasburg I would have eaten everything in this place. The food closely resembles southern food but with that Brooklyn twist (yeah, there's kale). To name a few options: Jerk or BBQ chicken with coconut cornbread and jerk-dusted fries (small memo: you could jerk-dust just about anything and I'd certainly eat it). There's blackened catfish sandwiches, burgers, sandwiches, and chicken and beef patties. Everything is heavy on the flavor and uses good quality ingredients as well. This past Wednesday, they had hot wings as a special; I hope that's every Wednesday.

If food, drink, and atmosphere wasn't enough for you: they've always got tons of live music, too. It's a great selection; tons of funk and a little bit of everything else. There's also a crawfish broil coming up this Tuesday, too! All you can eat! Last but not least, they serve frozen dark & stormys. Frozen. Dark. &. Stormys.

Came on a sunny Saturday early afternoon, ordered two $20 pitchers, a basket of plantain chips (awesome), pickled things (okra, cauliflower, regular), tomato stewed kale, and the fried tofu plate with a side of vinegar slaw, jerk fries and a cornbread muffin. Everything was delicious and just the right amount of spicy. Plus, we were given a variety of mild to spicy salsas to douse things with if we wanted (mild, jerk, and habanero).

Menu is small, but ambiance is sunny, laid back, and staff is very attentive. A step up from Lorelei.

Dug it! Felt like we were on vacation and the sounds of the BQE were just the waves crashing in the distance.  Lots of seating both inside and outside- big tables, benches, small tables, lawn chairs, under a canopy, out in the sun, at the bar... oh the choices!
Lots of delicious vegetarian food options. A decent draft beers selection.  Even the ultimate sign of a good time in the sun- the bucket of beer.
I will definitely be back and will suggest it to others!

This place is basically perfect. Great beer, cocktails, food.. nice inside, covered outside, and uncovered outside space. Excellent, attentive staff. I'm pretty sure this place will do very well.

It's everything I've ever wanted in a bar, and just as I'm leaving NYC..

What used to be Lorelei, the whimsical but unfortunately forgettable Ger-merican beer garden venture is now a modernized, clean space with imaginative cocktails. The team at Battery Harris, while small, is attentive and enthusiastic. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of bumping into the owner of the spot who pridefully revealed they've only been open a week and a half.

I'm a sucker for people who give a hoot about the community around their restaurant. The bike racks and cleared out park area outside of this establishment were a dead giveaway that this place has big aspirations. Rest assured it's all good things north of the BQE that will bring attention and a following to this location- something the former establishment might have missed.

The drinks are your typical fun, sexy cocktails. Some will be incredible, others will be forgettable. They are, however, successfully different enough to offer something for everyone. Personally I indulged on the frozen dark and stormy's because it was the perfect choice for the balmy evening we visited.

As far as the food goes, while tasty, I'm a little intrigued. Southern/Caribbean fusion. It appears that they wanted to offer something you can't find which always seems to be a smart move in the beginning. Time will only tell if locals dig it enough for it to stick around. Battery Harris scores points for the vegetarian crowd by offering not one but multiple veggie-friendly options.

We had the opportunity to see this spot in its infant stage and I encourage others to do the same. They're working out the kinks as far as service goes but it's nothing to ruin a beautiful evening under the Brooklyn stars. Cheers!

Love this place. Outdoor bar with beach chairs as seats, you already have my attention. The tables are wood and remind me of summer camp. I went late at night, about 1 AM on a Saturday and was met by only a handful of people. Somehow, I feel like it won't be this way for very long and that makes me sad.

My boyfriend and I had already missed the kitchen which seems to close at midnight on weekends from what we could gather. We decided to stay and try out a few drinks. For our first round, I had the Black Eagle and he had the Desert Heat. I loved my drink, it was tasty and really refreshing as if you misted your insides with water. His drink however could char taste buds. We underestimated it and he was clearly not happy. lol

For the 2nd round, I did Lionheart & he did the Purple Harris which everyone seemed to be raving about. My 2nd drink didn't come close to beating the Black Eagle. His drink was tasty enough but nothing to write home about. After one more round of Black Eagles, we decided to make our way out. We were invited to come back when the kitchen was open for great Caribbean food.

I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Just sad because I see it being packed soon. Will update after trying the food.

Love, love, love this bar!  Really fun and chill atmosphere.. good for hanging outside in their backyard during the day or for a dance party at night.  I really like how the inside and outside feel connected with the whole wall opened up.  The food and cocktails are delicious and they have an awesome beer selection.  I also heard that they're going to have frozen drinks by this weekend--can't wait to try one of those frozen dark n stormys!  Their happy hour special is great too--a beer and a Jamaican patty for just $6.  Great new addition to Willyb and will definitely be one of my go-to summer hangouts.
