I called Chevy's on Monday 6/10/13 around 11am to reserve the party room for an office birthday party. The woman who answered the phone (Mimi) seemed too busy to assist me, putting me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hung up and called right back and she answered immediately and told me the party room is not available. I asked if she could still accommodate an office bday party for 21 people and have our meals ready by 11:30am, she said yes and I faxed a spreadsheet of our orders the very next day -as discussed. I called on Tuesday 6/11/13 to make sure the fax we received and it was, I then asked (another manager, male) if our meals could be ready at 11:30am and was told "sure no problem." The day of the lunch I approached the general manager (female, Mimi I assume) and gave her an updated spreadsheet showing 3 of the meals will be orders to go. She thanked me and said they are preparing our orders now. We waited 10 mins before water was provided and waited over 35 minutes for our meals to arrive. They actually brought out the to go orders (instead of packing them to go) and completely missed our boss's meal. I had to speak to the manager (male) about the situation. Neither manager once came to our table to welcome us or check on us. After giving the updated order to the (female) manager I NEVER saw her again except when I saw her standing at the kitchen door pointing to our table complaining about us to 3 servers. We were billed, I requested a discount (which was nice to get 20% off -but I had to request it) and the only positive I can say is one of the servers (Maria or Marie) was extremely helpful and apologetic of our (final) visit. Chevy's needs managers that actually care about their customers. We used to do company lunches there last year and the old manager was attentive and friendly. During this visit we saw NO customer service from them at all, it is shameful. The food is good but with the poor experience I was not able to enjoy it.

I dined here for lunch with my coworkers and surprised that it was practically empty at 1PM.  I remember dining here before and thought it was mediocre, and my recent dining experience matched up to that expectation.

For lunch, they have a few different specials but the full menu is also available.  I ordered the arroz con pollo lunch bowl which had a ratio of 80% rice and 20% everything else. (veggies & meat)  Needless to say, I was quickly full with more than half of my bowl unfinished and feeling unsatisfied because I could have gone to Chipotle or Cava Mezze for a tastier bowl.  You also receive complimentary chips and salsa brought to your table for you to munch on before you get your meal.

Our service was on and off throughout the meal.  Our waters were never refilled and she didn't check on us at all.  When we finally tracked her down, she kindly split our checks for us and brought us back to-go boxes as well.

Been here a few times.  2 out of three tomes the customer service was bad.  The one time it was good, the manager, unsolicited by me, helped because the staff member was clearly not helpful.  This would be the worst place to be a  manager because the staff are almost universally bad.  3 stars because I do like the food.

This is solely based on their margaritas/happy hour: they have some of the best margaritas around Northern VA! I have tried many other places and nothing beats these margs on the rocks! Also, they have great happy hour specials on them; I believe it is either $2.99 or $3.99 for them Monday-Friday. I have only had their chips and salsa (which are decent), so I cannot speak on their food but it is definitely worth coming here for their happy hour!

Had dinner here. I thought the service was great - the waiter was very friendly and exuded peppiness! The food was good and solid, too, I thought. The decor was a little run down but it didn't bother me much. Had a margarita and it was great, esp. for the happy hour price.

Don't come here to practicar your espanol.

I came here with my family and decided to speak only Spanish to the waitress. Instead of humoring me with fake smiles and forced laughter, the waitress looked at me with disdain the whole time. Now if she were Mexican, I can understand her lack of amusement and think (incorrectamente) that I was making fun of her cultura. But she wasn't. She was white and cold. Like frozen milk.

The food was decidedly average. Frankly I can't tell any difference between the food here and any of the other chain Mexican places. Next time I'll be practicing my Spanish at an authentic Mexican place like Chipotle.

A friend recommended we meet here because it's between where I was (DC) and where he's at (way outside DC). He told me the food would be mediocre. Mediocre is a gross understatement.

First, I lived in Texas for three years. I know what Tex-Mex is. I know what Mexican food is. Whatever the hell it was I ate at Chevys, it's not Tex-Mex, Mexican, Mex, Southwestern, and it was barely food.

The salsa is unbelievably bad. I would bet money it's not fresh. It's too finely chopped and is almost mush. It's not supposed to be like this. The carnitas fajitas is excessively salty. It's otherwise mostly flavorless.

The food here reminds me of Chi-Chi's. I suppose if you have never had real Tex-Mex, this might be tolerable. I'm just amazed that people voluntarily go to this place.

Although it's not my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, I really like Chevys. The service during my recent trip was outstanding -- heck, they even refilled our basket of tortilla chips before we finished the first one!

I enjoy the wide variety of menu items and appreciate the multitude of veggie options as well for when I'm in that sort of mood. I had a great combo platter with a shrimp/crab/habanero enchilada and a couple of other more traditional items. Overall, the quality of the food here is very good, and the dishes are somewhat inventive.

The downside of Chevys is that it's a bit dark, musty, sticky and run-down looking on the inside. Some seating areas are more appealing than others. The location is a little tricky to get to also.

My husband and I first tried Chevy's out in CA and fell in love with their food. Their chips and salsa are by far the best we have ever had! The salsa is fresh and smoky.

    Our favorite menu items are:

    Crispy Chicken Flautas
These are what we always start with and these are fire-roasted red peppers, grilled corn and cheese, lightly crisped in flour tortillas. This dish comes with a tasty grilled pineapple salsa &  jalapeno jelly.
    And....
    Salsa Chicken Taquitos
These are delicious. These taquitos are fire-roasted corn salsa & jack cheese wrapped in chipotle corn tortillas and deep fried. These come plated with a mango-habanero salsa and jalapeno jelly. You will want extra tomalito, which is a corn concoction and is amazing.

If you are still wanting more,  order a Cabo Wabo Rock 'N Rita. We loved this place so much that we bought their cookbook.

Go and let me know what you think!

I have been to this location a few times. The food has always been on par with other Chevy's I have been to. Their service has lacked a bit tho. Each time we have received waiters that have not been very attentive and / or  have screwed up our order. Example: Wife orders carnitas fajitas but gets steak fajitas instead.

I assume they make their salsa there? Because every time it is something completely different.  Don't get me wrong, I like it each time but there is definitely no consistency there with the salsa.

Location: 8 - Pretty easy to find. Plenty of parking.

Food: 8 - Pretty on par with other Chevy's I have been to, besides the salsa. Everything has been relatively fresh tasting and laid out nicely.

Atmosphere: 7 - It has your typical Chevy's decor. The restaurant always seems a bit dirty, but nothing bad. Last time we had rice on our table when we sat down. Time before that their was salsa all inside my menu.

Service: 6 - Their service can definitely be picked up. We have had one waiter who was really nice and did everything correct, unfortunately I cannot remember his name. Besides him, every other has been lack luster. Forgetting what we ordered, not refilling chips / salsa. Not refilling drinks. Its usually something each time. Nothing to bad where it would warrant a complaint, just somewhat a let down.

Overall: 7 - Every time, my food has tasted good (when we get the right dish). The service is lackluster and the place could use a better regular cleaning (menus and what not). If your craving Chevy's, then you will get your fix, just don't expect fine dining.

Their salsa and fried ice cream are pretty good. I also like thier chicken tortilla soup. The service can be very hit or miss. I think the prices are kinda high, but come here when they email me a decent coupon.

I've been here a couple of times.

Chips and salsa still the same as are their entrees.

They're trying to introduce new things that kind of takes away from their strength.  I ordered a few new appetizers and found them underwhelming.  Hot wings was one and freshly made potato chips with buffalo sauce and bleu cheese was the other.

Chevy's, just stick to tex mex.

Also, their happy hours aren't the same.  Before, it used to be 1/2 off the regular menu's appetizers.  Now, they have special appetizers at a normal apps's price.  Nothing special and not good.

    Drinks were good.  $4 margarita.

The chips were great. Let me start there.

We arrived, and had to wait a couple of minutes for a server. It turned out that our server had a very large group, just ahead of us. He never used this as an excuse for anything, and I do appreciate that. Once he came over to our table, he was pretty good.

The food was pretty unremarkable. I haven't had good Mexican since we moved from Virginia Beach. Northern VA seems like a Mexican food desert. I ate a combo plate, the taco had a nice shell, that matched the chips. The meat seemed kinda dry, but the taste was fine. I've had better re fried beans. The enchilada was okay.

The food was hot, and the rest room was clean. If I could, I'd give this place 3 1/2 stars, but I can't.

I was wondering why this place only had 2.5 stars. We were greeted warmly by the receptionist, and our server was happy to see us. We received our app and entrees quickly, but that's where the good service ended.

It was after 9pm on Friday, and it wasn't that busy. That should have been a red flag enough. My water sat empty until we were done eating. No one came to check how we liked our food. She ordered the fish tacos, and much to her disgust they were Salmon! Who makes fish tacos using Salmon? Nasty. Lastly, we sat for ten minutes waiting for our server with my credit card in hand, until finally I decided to get up and walk around asking if I could simply pay someone so that we could leave. Our server finally showed up, and unapologetically put the check on the table and walked off.

This place definitely earns it's 2.5 stars.

I was surprised when me and my friend came to an almost empty Chevy's on a Friday night.

Food: We ordered the table-side guacamole ($9) which was disappointing because it was not as creamy or tasty as ones that I've had at other Mexican restaurants (Rosa Mexicana, Plaza Azteca).  The chips, however, are very thin and crispy.  We also ordered the Crispy Chicken Flautas and Picadillo Beef Tacos (both were just OK, not worth getting again) which came with a side of rice (bland) and beans (not appetizing).

Service: Great.  Our waitress was very energetic and knew what was in the food.

I would probably only come back for HH (ends at 8PM, we just missed it!) but not to eat dinner.

If you like to pay obscene prices for canned meats, this is the place for you! Fresh is definitely not a word I would use to describe their food. Their quesidillas were inedible, and I was feeling particularly desperate for Texmex that day.

The salsa is absolutely delish!! The chips, not so. Then again, that's just me. My boyfriend thought the chips were very good.
Portion sizes are HUGE. Well what do you expect here? The food overall is just okay (if you are hungry). The flavors were a little below okay. We got good service. The calorie information is actually scary. Where most of your dishes are over 1,000 calories, I am not sure sure what gets accomplished by actually listing the caloric values. "I will go with the 999 calorie dish please, because I am training for a marathon!"
The server asked us to save room for dessert. Umm, SERIOUSLY?

This place is really hit or miss like some others have mentioned.  Sometimes it's a 4 star level and other times its 2 star, hence the 3 star.  Food is usually decent to good.  The service is bad to decent.  Atmosphere depends what time you go.

    mmmm Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas!

mmmm guacamole made right at your table... Mexican Benihana ftw!

Even the tortilla chips are extra delicious!

I'm not a huuuge Mexican food fan so I'll pretty much just stick to that or a quesadilla, but I sure do enjoy those items!

    Open on Christmas? Yes Please!

Even for Christmas Day, the staff here was friendly, fast and accurate. Sure, it's chain Mexican food, but it was delicious, still had spice, and at a good price.

They also have an expansive gluten free menu, and the staff was very gluten free friendly and understood my needs.

I had the Chicken Tacos with rice and black beans, plus an order of queso. My husband had the Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas, all good!

This location is not really so great.

The service is hit or miss, but even the best service I've experienced here is just alright.

Most importantly--the food quality has become increasingly worse.  I've been visiting this location for several months and each time, I like it less and less.

One recent occasion: my friend and I found hair in our salsa bowl and then she found MORE HAIR in her entree.  She was mortified.  We told the manager and he came back with the plate and asked her to show him where the hair was.  We did and then he apologized.  Needless to say, at this point, she did not want an additional entree...appetite was lost.

I went back though and my most recent visit--the food just tasted poor--did not taste fresh--I had nachos and they just tasted pretty BLAH.  Disappointing.  How can you mess up nachos?

Great service first of all, and their drinks look delightful. Service and my husband's opinion kick this from two stars to three.

Let's talk about the food though...

Tex-Mex... blah... would love a truly authentic Mexican restaurant in the D.C. area but it's impossible to find.

Don't even read how many calories are in the meals...it's my main reason for three stars.

Enchiladas are covered in icksauce, and mushy in a bad way.
Tacos are ok - shells are huge and one in on either side is all shell no meat. They taste alright though.
Floutas have mostly cheese, not much else in them... inconsistent on that too.
Guacamole is inconsistent...sometimes ripe avocados...sometimes not...good stuff when they happen to be ripe.

Don't even bother with fried ice cream... all fry no cream.

IF ( and that's a big if ) I ever went back I'd try fajitas...lower calories so I can live with myself after the meal and they look alright.

Went here Friday night. My entire experience was tainted by the absolutely disgusting prickly pear margarita. I've had prickly pear margaritas before and liked them, so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that they gave me a glass of prickly pear syrup with agave and ice. No tequila at all or even any citrus to cut through the cloyingly sweet syrup. It was truly horrible. I couldn't take more than one sip, and when I think of Chevy's now that's all I can think of.

The food was ok. Nothing special, but decent. Service was slow. Music was too loud.

    They're no Don Pablo's.

I was really close to giving this place 1 star but I decided against it.

A good friend and I decided to visit Chevy's for dinner on a Friday and we got there and were seated by about 6:45. As we sat down, my friend noticed the card on our table that says that HH lasted until 7pm and so we ordered what we thought were $3 margaritas. They weren't that good...at all. It really tasted more like a lime slushie more than a margarita but for $3, it was worth it. That is, until we came to learn that HH specials only applied in the bar....WHO DOES THAT?!?!...really?!? Not to mention, our waitress didn't have the courtesy to mention it to us considering that we were looking at the promotional card when we ordered and all.

The food was what I expected, not outstanding but not terrible either. On top of the HH issue, our waitress barely paid attention to us throughout the entire meal until she made one of those final pleas before we decided on how much we'd tip here. All in all, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth...enough to review it here.

The $3 HH margarita and draft beers definitely reeled me in and we got a table for 2. But before we sat down, we asked if we could get the HH and our server told us we couldn't and to go sit at the bar and she handed us the menu and just walked off. WTF? !@#$

The bar was PACKED. The bar tables are PACKED. So we go back to the table we were originally at and sat down. I knew it was a long shot but I asked if I could order the drinks at the bar and bring it to the table. Some restaurants let you get HH if you're close enough to the bar (and we were), its happened to me several times, so I thought 'what the hell' and asked. She seemed extremely unhelpful and unenthusiastic as she explained how we were not able to do so.

Food was pretty good. 4 stars. I had fish tacos for the first time ever, I thought if I were to try fish tacos, a Mexican restaurant would be a safe bet. Bf had this sampler combo with quesadillas, taco, pork tamale and something else...hmmm..I'll come back with the name of it, I forgot.

Service could have been better. And parking was a nightmare since it's right next to Panda Express and Sweet Water. Minus 1 star.

Oooh, and since I was not able to get HH, I got the GRANDE margarita, it was a pretty huge martini glass (posted the pic)! LOL. Totally got me going in a good mood. And then he thought Dos Patrones (Patron Silver, Patron Citronge, sweet & sour with OJ) was calling my name and it looked like such a cute tall shooter glass in the menu but BOY was I wrong! That thing was SO TALL! It came up to my face when the server brought it to our table! O.O Suh-weeeeeeet.

I went to Chevy's yesterday (December 29, 2010) and was sitting in the main entrance of the restaurant very upset. The time was 7:41pm and I have yet to be seated. At 7:11pm I placed to reserve a table for 6 and it took the hostess 19mins and 22secs to take my call. She wasn't really paying attention and she wanted to hang up after only getting the number of people in my party. I asked her if she wanted my name before hanging up and she said "oh, sure". By that time I was already walking into the restaurant and walked around to see how "busy" it really was.

There was no one in the main entrance and a quite a few tables unoccupied. I requested to speak to the manager and when I informed him of my experience all he said was "ok". My boyfriend then asked him if the hold time was usual and he said "No it is not". There was no apology or explanation and we were left in main entrance to wait for the rest of our party to arrive. At 7:48pm the rest of our party arrived and four other guests had been helped before us.

When I greeted my guest and began to tell them how the experience was thus far the greeter interrupted me exclaiming "that was you on the phone?!" in front of other guests! I said "yes, I was on hold for 19mins and 22sec!" She then proceeded to roll her eyes and say the location was busy. How rude!

I have been to other restaurants were they will at least seat us while we wait and offer some kind of apology for our experience thus far. Terrible experience and if it weren't for us driving for 30mins we would have left.

Our dinner experience was not much better. We had to track down our waitress a few times for chips and salsa and refill on drinks. Also, my boyfriend had to wait approximately 23mins to get his drink AND the server rolled his eyes when we pointed out two of the three plates were to be shared. We told the waitress while ordering so we were expecting the plate to be split in two. When we got extra plates one was dirty.

We will NOT be returning to dine at Chevys I've worked in retail and a company depends on its client base. For every unsatisfied customer they will inform 10 others of their experience, for every satisfied customer they only inform 3. Hopefully other people have a better experience then the one my family and I had.

I LOOVE Chevys! They have an awesome happy hour deal here $3 drinks/apps and $3.25 fruit margaritas. Frozen mango margarita=yum! The chips and salsa here are top-notch. I had some difficulty even getting NEAR the bar since it was beyond packed on a Friday and even harder to find seating. Not especially wowed by this particular location but I really wish there was a Chevys closer to me!

Chevy's has pretty good tex-mex food.  I tend to favor On the Border over them, but they still make pretty good food.  The wife loves their Chile Rellenos... her favorites of all the chains.

We were seated right away which was nice.  I ordered a margarita... good.  And I also ordered the fajita combo.  The meats and shrimp were all well cooked, but the pork was the best part.  O. M. G. this pork was goooood.  Juicy, a little fatty, and full of flavor.  Next time I may just get the pork ... so.  good.

I have to ask though, why do you always get like one tortilla shy of how many you actually need to eat up all of the meat.  Ever notice that?  You finish your torillas and you have just enough meat left for one more fajita.  The chains all do this on purpose, don't they?  Cuz they know that you HAVE to get a whole nother order of tortillas just so you can get that one more precious one that you need to eat up the meat.  It's a conspiracy I tell you

... but anywhoo...  food was good.

The service was meh.  Our waiter was slow and not the most attentive.  But other than that thumbs up I suppose.

I went back on a Sunday for the $2 tableside guac, $2 off cadillac margaritas, and $1 fried ice cream.

I loved the guac--you control how much of everything goes in. It was yummy. The chips and salsa were still good of course, love how warm, thin, and crispy the chips are! I got two cadillac margaritas (I think they're $5.65 each after the discount) but I should've only gotten one. I was pretty buzzed after the first one so I only ended up drinking 1/4 of the second. I'm a lightweight asian but I can normally drink more than that! I think it's safe to say they're not skimping on the alcohol. Anyway, I was so full I got my ice cream to go, which is only one scoop but perfect size for me. Yum! Can't beat that for $1.

The salad I had last time wasn't that memorable, besides being large, so you'll probably only find me here on Sundays for the guac and margaritas. But I saw some other people order fajitas which smelled heavenly. Okay, I'm just trying to find excuses to keep coming back for their chips and salsa. I think they put crack in it! Sigh.

My husband I went to eat here a couple weeks ago.  Everything was fine at first.  We got our food, it looked good.  I'd gotten fajitas, they were still sizzling when they came out, always a good sign.  Before I could make one though, the power went out, due to some high winds outside.  The power came back on for a couple seconds and then off again.  It was pitch black and we couldn't see much except an emergency light at the  front of the restaurant.

None of the staff or management said anything to us (or the diners in general) about it.  I was really hungry, so I made my husband hold his phone over my food so I could eat something.  About fifteen minutes later our waitress came by and told  us that the credit card machine was still working, so she wanted to get us to pay before it went down too.  No 'sorry for the inconvenience' or slight discount or anything like that.  I had to box up all my fajita stuff and take it home to eat it.  Who can make a fajita in the dark?  The staff was more worried about getting our money and getting us out of there than anything else.

I live right by this place, and because of the coupons for buy one meal get one for $3.99 we tend to head over there once a month or so.  I really dont know why.  The service seems to be worse and worse every time we go, there is usually a 5 minute wait, even though at least 1/2 of the tables are empty, and the food is generally blah.

They do have a pretty good salsa though, which is entirely hit or miss, sometimes it is awesome and sometimes its just eh'.  During the summers they have a pretty good entree special that has a grilled steak taco, a chiptole grilled enchilada and a couple of other things that have been good every time I've tried it.  This last time I got a burrito (cant remember which one) that had chicken in it.  I assumed that itd be white and dark meat, which I am fine with.  What I didnt expect was the chicken skin that was in it, huge pieces, there was a piece the size of my palm even.  We called the waitress over and pointed it out to her.  She said it was normal and she didnt know why I wasnt happy (seriously if you dont like your job quit.)  The manager came over and several times I tried to tell him that there was skin, he kept on insisting that the dark meat was normal, I kept on saying that was fine but I didnt think there should be skin in it.  About the fourth time that we mentioned the skin in it he perked up and said "wait, there def. shouldnt be skin in it, something obviously went wrong."  You think?  They offered to bring me out something else, but after it taking over 10 minutes to explain to two different people that there was skin in my burrito, I figured it was best for me to  just skip the meal.  Everyone elses food was fine.  If skin didnt gross me out so entirely much, maybe I would have been fine.

There seems to always be a story when we leave Chevys...such as the time we didnt even get our water for 45 minutes, let alone the chips and salsa (we just up and left.)  Or the time that one of my girlfriends ordered the fish tacos, that were supposed to come out with mahi mahi, instead they came out with salmon...they said they ran out of mahi mahi.  Salmon tacos....NOT GOOD.

I'm sticking to the fajitas next time.  Seriously this place is completely hit or miss, it's either a 1 star or 3 stars depending on the server and who is cooking, so I'm going in the middle and giving them 2 stars.

I love me some Chevy's. Me and Yana have been to Chevy's three times and have had great experiences each time. She even left her purse there by accident and they held it for her and did not take anything out of it. Can't say that for Silverado's in Annandale.

Not to get off the topic but man, Yana left a $200 gift card in a gift bag to the Palm's Restaurant at Silverado's by accident, called the next morning and of course no one saw it. I should take back 2 stars from them for having a not so trust worthy staff. We know it was either the server of the bus person. For you going to Silverado's, don't forget you stuff.

Anyways, Chevy's rock. The food has been great. We usually get the mixed fajitas (chicken, steak, and shrimp). Yummy!!! With all the dishes they give you a side of this corn mash like substance. Good stuff. We also like the margaritas there. They rock or they are on the rocks haha. My attempt at bad humor. Sorry!!!

The servers or at least the last server we had was a little slow but he did get us everything we asked for. Just took some time haha but we weren't in a hurry. He recommended Yana's mom to get the top shelf margarita and she thought it was to strong. So I had to take over and it was delish. I didn't think it was that strong. I hope that doesn't mean I'm becoming an alcoholic? Note to myself, no drinking top shelf margaritas alone. If anyone sees me out drinking margaritas alone, gather a group and have an intervention please. Sorry to get off topic again. Chevy's has some good eats and the prices aren't bad either. Check it out.

Just your average watered-down Tex-Mex tacky monstrosity of a restaurant with heapings of mediocre food and large, watered down margaritas.  Alright if you're desperate, but if you need a quick fix and you have a buy one entree, get the other for $3.99 coupon it's worth the trip.

The coupons and the corn tomalito are the only things that draw me to this place.  Anything else find a more authentic place in the area.

I went here once and had one of the worst experiences of my life.  The quesedilla was ridiculously spicy (and i dont do spicy) and the bathrooms were an absolute mess.    But, its been a couple years so i thought i'd give it another shot..

    And once again incredibly disapointed.

I ordered a salad and asked for the less spicy dressing.  Yet I could not finish it because it was too spicy.  I dont understand why everything has to be spicy!   The queso we got was pretty good.  I was very happy with the chips, they were fresh and not too salty.   I wasn't a big fan of the salsa because it was kinda smokey flavored.

Service was awful.  There were only a handful of tables in the whole restaurant and plenty of servers, yet we were constantly without water or chips.  It really frustrates me when that happens.

With much better places to eat tex mex in the area i really can't see myself returning here

I love this place on a WEEK NIGHT.  At a week day lunch this place is crazy.  Lot's of office traffic and NO parking.  On the weekends you can visit at lunch or dinner and find parking and a well priced Mexican meal.

Don't get me wrong...this is the typical "Mexican" meal, but they do some things so right that it works for me and my family.  First, they bring out something for the kids to snack on immediately.  That means if we've seen a late movie or are just getting to dinner late that night, the kids will stop complaining IMMEDIATELY.  They are fast to bring out your drinks and that includes beer or margaritas.  The kids get their sodas and you get your "happy" drink while you read the menu.  The margaritas are average.  I usually upgrade to the premium and add a shot.  NEVER GET THE FROZEN MARGARITA.  While tasty, they are full of calories and NO ALCOHOL.  Get your margarita on the rocks where you can actually taste the alcohol.

Appitizers run the gamit.  We enjoy the complimentary chips and salsa, but have gotten the cheese sause and guacamola.  My kids like the cheese sauce and I like the guacamola.  We switch which ones we order:-)  I usually order the nachos as an entree.  It's more than enough for two.  The nachos are what I remember as a child...lots of chips, beans, lettuse, cheese, and meat.  They put a blop of sour cream and gacamole on the chips as well.  This is where I go to get the kind of nachos I like.

The husband and kids get lots of different things.  I require the children order something "Mexican" off the menu so they have tried the burrito, tequitos, and qucidellas.  They'll eat any of them, but claim none of them are as good as Baha Fresh.  I love the corn "mush" they scoop and put on the kids plate and we usually fight over it.  The husband usually gets something that samples everything on the menu.  He is big on VALUE.  That usually means bulk.  He wants his plate filled up and he's not disapointed here.

I usually get another margarita for dessert.  The kids enjoy the complimentary ice cream on a tortilla cone.  Husband is so busy cleaning up left overs that he has no room for additional desserts.  We really aren't a dessert family.

This is one of our favorite place to go as family.  It satisfies all of us on a level we find acceptable.  GREAT FAMILY PLACE!
