Patriot's Pub & Grill

How can you not love Pats? I'd been a regular here for many years before moving south, and each time I'm back, I can't help but stop in. Great staff, good food, and drinks are 'a flowin'.

Love a good dive bar? This is the place to stop in.

I thank Pats for introducing me to some really amazing folks over the years.

I think my visit had all of the staff out eaves dropping on citizen's phone calls and emails and doing their part to promote the Patriot Act but not the Pub & Grill!

I arrived on a Sunday evening about 6:30pm, walked in, awaited to be approached and seated but didn't see hide nor hare any hostess or wait staff. After 5:32 seconds I took a seat, those fellow patriots that were already seated and enjoying their spirits began to stare me down.

After 12 minutes I was greeted by an apologetic waitress and I began to smile, I'm forgive easily!  Drink and appetizer orders were submitted and we were back in business; or so I thought.  After the first round and the one plate service once again evaded us and the table; it became difficult to to replenish drinks, get an extra napkin or add a side of mayo for the burger that was ordered.

With service being as secretive as the Patriot Act we didn't have high hopes for the food.  Basic bar food here, burgers, chicken and apps; nothing special by any means.

I'll return since it is in a normal path for me and will try it during a week day and will welcome a change.

This place is a dive, hole in the wall, but with character. I won't go into much detail, but it's worth a good beer after a bad day...
