Well, it started out better than my last attempt at ordering from here; at least I got my food this time. Â I ordered through GrubHub this time, my order came in a timely fashion, and the delivery person was friendly and courteous. Unfortunately, that's where the good part ends.
I ordered pot stickers, wonton soup, Szechuan beef, and pork fried rice. Â I get the order to my desk, and notice there is a big puddle of brown liquid at pooled in the bottom of the plastic bag. Â What happened, is that the little plastic container of sauce for my pot stickers had melted, then it escaped through a hole in the melted styrafoam of the container. Â Actually, both foam containers had melted some from the steam. Â So I started off with a big mess.
The quality of the food ranged from downright horrible, to decent. Â In the decent category: pot stickers, and fried rice (actually, I will say the pork fried rice was the best part; fresh and not too salty,) and the soup. Â On the other hand, the beef was just horrible. Â I ate about three bites, and just could not go any further. Â The meat and vegetables were just unpleasantly soggy. Â You could not tell the difference between the two. Â The rest of the order found it's way to the trash bin.
My hubby wanted chinese & I wanted sushi so why not give this place a try. The chinese food was very good, you cannot go wrong with $5 lunch special it was more than enough for the both of us. The dumplings and sauce were very good as well however the sushi was awful. It was hot almost as if it had been warmed up and the wasabi had no kick at all. Also they told us to sit down and they would take our order but after a few people came in and had their orders placed before us we realized this wasn't a sit down restaurant. Don't think we'll be coming back any time soon we'll stick to our regular sushi and chinese restaurants.
