It'd be a lot better if the employees would stop dry humping each other.

The atmosphere behind the counter--especially in the evening hours--can be a unique blend of gay bar dance floor and Katt Williams dressing room antics.

Tonight's features: some employee strutting back and forth along the grill, twirling his fingers in the air as if they were glow sticks while the sole female employee braced herself against a pillar next to the cash register yelling something about her ass as the cashier guy banged her from behind.

And about that cashier guy. Why is that particular cashier guy NEVER at the register? He's always somewhere else and needs to be called over to ring up orders. Maybe he's in back dry banging other co-workers?

Particularly annoying is the employees' habit of sitting in the high-top tables along the order line, heckling their co-workers with R-rated insults and innuendo while we, The People, try to get some grub. Cashier guy is especially adept at this and loves to get paying customers involved in the dick joke fun.

Let's get this ship sailing in the right direction, Chipotle.

I always get a burrito when I eat at Chipotle but I'm a little hesitant on the quality of the meat. I feel like it used to be better but progressivly got worse. However, the rest of the ingredients taste fresh daily, even when you're the last cutomer in the store (highly appreciated for those who leave work late).

The staff is phenomenal. Honestly, if it wasn't for the staff of a certain establishment, no matter how good the food is people would not come back and that stands true for me!!! As soon as you walk through the door even people who are doing busywork stop to greet you - it feels genuine!

Thanks Chipotle I'll be coming back :]

In my opinion, all Chipotles are awesome. There's something about that combination of white cilantro rice, steak, fajita mix, corn salsa, green salsa, and guacamole that sends me over the edge. Plus, the location of this one is super convenient, as I sometimes camp out at the big Starbucks around the corner for hours. As an added bonus? The staff at this location are the friendliest Chipotle employees I have ever encountered. EVER. (I used to go to Chipotle at least 3 times a week in college.)

I come here a lot and every single time I'm here, the staff is amazing. I definitely come back because they are so great, on top of the food being fresh and their skill at putting a great burrito together. They give you as many veggies as you want (which is great for vegetarians! Thank you!!!) and they are always smiling and super kind.
They set a high standard for other fast food and other Chipotles in the city which pale in comparison to their service.

Good, cheap, and easy.  Every restaurant should learn from Chipotle's success.  Less is more.  Love the 4 hard shell tacos and the chips are so good, I can eat a bag easily everytime.  My favorite of the new fast-food Mexican restaurants.

I love chipotle. But the staff is sooooooo rude... Sunday march 11. Slow assembly except to the middle server lady. Cashier is so rude one customer ask for a glass of water and she looked at her top to bottom and said what for? They act like bunch of teenagers and making
so much noise at the kitchen tossing things around. Staff needs to be retrained.. Food is perfect. They were greedy too. Made me curse out even I just got out from church. Lol

I want to like Chipotle. Really, I do. I appreciate the real ingredients, the simple menu, and the effortlessly friendly staff. This should be my fast-food mecca.

But about the food... it's just not good. After several Chipotle meals (not all at this location), I find it ranges from edible to bland, with occasional excursions to flavorless and dry. It's a shame, really. Even more unfortunately, I generally eat fast food on the road, and there's no way to eat a burrito while driving safely.

Anyway, I wish them all the best of luck. And happy eating to all you Chipotletarians, who I assume have never once in your lives eaten actual Mexican food.

While I like chipotle I don't care for this location. The staff seems unclear about what to do and the music is on way too loud. They need more tables.

Because I love Chipotle I went to this new location. For the food YAY I AM A BIG FAN. This location in particular is a bit uncomfortable for us older fatter peeps because there are only 4 tables and the rest are those high mushroom chairs which to me are a no-no. On the plus side, one can get an awesome wifi signal from the Starbucks next door!

When I was there did noticed a bit of slack of one employee on doing the table cleaning by tossing all the stuff to the floor for which the floor looked messy and was left like that. I am sure this is an exception to the rule.

Still, YAY I AM A BIG FAN but will go back to my usual spots that are a bit more roomier.

Normally, I hit the Chipotle at State and Division.  On a ride home on the CTA, it looked like I wouldn't make it there by closing time (10 p.m.)  I decided to stay on the Brown line, get off at Sedgwick and find dinner on North Ave.

Incredibly, the North Ave Chipotle is open until 11 p.m.!  Victory!

If you haven't had Chipotle yet, stop by and open the door to a big rice, bean and meat world, wrapped in a chewy tortilla.

I will remember this Chipotle option for the times my hunger pushes past 10:00.

Fresh and affordable healthy Mexican inspired fare. Great location, great staff. Had the Pozole (the fact that they even have Pozole is a shocker; that's usually only found in truly authentic Mexican restaurants on 26th St.). and it was fantastic. The guacamole is fresh and fabulous, as well! No such thing as a bad meal at Chipotle. I also love the owner's philosophy -- fresh, organic and healthy ingredients. Guess that's why his places will always do well!

I'm a much huger flirt than ever thought, because I totally have a Chipotle boyfriend here. He always gives me extra salsa. 'Cause I'm spicy.

Other than that, I'm still a huge fan. This place is on the ball. Always clean, always orderly. I eat here on a near weekly basis, slow times, dinner times; I've never been frustrated or fearful of being late to a class upstairs.

It's a Chipotle! I appreciate their consistency. Because sometimes (regularly) I crave cliantro rice.

Update - 12/22/11 - They are getting better, I stopped by a couple of times since and they are much more put together, actually very friendly and professional.

I'm walking over from the lake and decide to pick up some hard shell tacos on the way home.  I use Chipotle's online ordering system on the walk over.  The earliest I can select for a pick up is 5:30pm, I enter my order at 5:12pm, I know I will be there earlier than that.  My girlfriend is with me and she wants quesadillas which cannot be ordered using the online ordering system.  We get to the Chipotle on North Ave and get in line, there are 4 people or so in line ahead of us, my girlfriend orders, now its my turn, I say that I have an online order, he looks down at a ticket and asks if I am Ben, yes I am. He says that I am ten minutes early, of course I think but I am here now and in line, he has my ticket on the counter, so I figure no worries he'll probably make it next, he tells me to move on to the register, so I do.  The line fills up to about 15 people after us. My girlfriend goes through the line and gets her food.  I wait quite a while as they prepare food for customers that were in line after us and I wait, and I wait and I wait, and they continue to take people that were after me.  I finally ask the cashier to void my transaction, she says I would have to talk to one of the two guys working the prep line.  They're extremely busy helping the customers that came in after me while my ticket sits on the counter.  I walk out.  I have used the online ordering system with great success in the past, just not this time.  Now off to see if I can get my money back since I paid for the transaction online.

The slowest chipotle assembly line I have seen. Only the cashier really seemed to be on his game (friendly too).

The girls on the line just seem to not be very sure of what they are doing.

I frequent two locations in the loop- the one on lake street most often-  and am used to lines out the door. The difference is the staff are awesome and fly theough the orders. Kudos to them.

    Food is standard chipotle. Decent.

    "Chaz, what's wrong with you?

    You're writing a review of a Chipotle?

    Have you lost your mind?"

Chill out, subconscious. I know what i'm doing.

This is a brand spankin new Chipotle.

And, it has its act together.

I went to the invite-only soft opening, and the service was impeccable, everyone was smiley, the ingredients were super fresh, and as almost always, the burrito was fantastico.

    Good work, Chipotle.

    Good work.
