This is the place to be after hitting Joes, Hogs N Honeys, and Crobar!
I may be wrong but all I know is that the second I walk out of the club, I am ready for a slice at Pizza Ria. I am usually broke as a joke on our way home so its easy to rummage around for $5 for a slice as big as your head, and unlimited diet soda...haha
Now that I think about it, I will have to eat here when I'm sober before I give 5 stars. Now you may catch me reveiwing early sunday morning on this place saying its the bomb... but thats just the kev drunk as a skunk!
There is no way the grease on this pizza is any good for you but weekend eating cheating calories dont count.
I'll admit it. Â I was a "pizza by the slice" virgin. I mean, what could possibly be good about one slice of pizza versus the whole pie? Â And who would pay for a slice of cheese pizza when for a smidge more- you have leftover pizza for breakfast?
Well, this "pizza by the slice" virgin is now a convert.
I was at a bar on the northside the other night that did not serve food. And I was hungry. Â When the people I was with said "let's go get a SLICE of pizza" Â I thought we were going to go and get a whole pizza and bring it back and have a SLICE.
No- we walked up to this corner spot- placed our order- and within minutes had slices of cheesy pizza in a to go box and were back on our way to the bar. And everyone got exactly the toppings that they wanted. Â Pretty sweet! Â Oh- and did I forget to mention the chocolate brownies? They were moist and delicious!
To the uninitiated, the trick here is to ask what is coming out of the oven next so that whatever you get is the freshest. Â But even the pizza that has been sitting in the holding cabinet is passed through the oven once again so it is nice and hot.
Gourmet food? Â Nope. Â But good enough when you are looking for a quick bite to eat.
