Corner Bakery Cafe

Met my cousin here for a couple loop lunches, and I'm really just not that crazy about the food.  There's always a long wait, no surprise, and they bring you your food which is a nice touch.  But the food really left something to be desired.  Three lentil vegetable soup was surely relatively healthy, but fairly bland.  The chicken salad sandwich bummed me out - the rye bread was dry, and the texture of the chicken was unappealing - it was chopped too fine, so you didn't really get big juicy bites.  It was just lackluster.  I knew I preferred Panera for a legit reason!

First thing in the morning, while picking up my morning coffee on my way to work I decided to stop at Corner Bakery. Extremely friendly service received from the two workers I interacted with, I received full smiles and a how are you from both!

I tried one of their specialty lattes and was very pleased with my purchase!

Definitely made my morning!

Convenient and friendly with a good selection. Seems to fill with work groups and geriatric clubs but isn't uncomfortably crowded. Not the cheapest place though, but quality is solid and dependable.
