Bad service! Water was served pretty late.
Waitress seemed like she was doing a favor to us. It was our anniversary night and the rude waitress spoiled the evening. She came late to the table and did not help us with the menu at all. She did not mention the specials, or drinks. When we asked for the champagne, she didnt help us quite. She sounded quite rude. At the end, when we were done with the food, she asked "Do you need the check or do you want to drink more?" I have never heard servers wait tables like these, especially at upscale places. The food was good. The truffle fries did not taste any different like sweet potato fries. The salmon caviar on chips was good. We ordered the Filet Mignon and that was superb! The meat was succulent and juicy. The chocolate fondue at the end was just okay.
Whenever my friends and I want to hang and down a few bottles of Veuve we cruise to the back room of Corridor 44. Â It's low key, aesthetically pleasing, and the music is super chill. Â There isn't another place in this city where we can sip champagne while Oceanlab and Blackmill radiate through the speakers. Â Love the attentive servers as well!
Normally we have a liquid dinner, but one night we decided to have actual food. Â We ordered the mussels, seared scallops, and the surf & turf to share. Â Everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Â Definitely looking forward to eating there again in a couple of weeks.
