Bad service! Water was served pretty late.
Waitress seemed like she was doing a favor to us. It was our anniversary night and the rude waitress spoiled the evening. She came late to the table and did not help us with the menu at all. She did not mention the specials, or drinks. When we asked for the champagne, she didnt help us quite. She sounded quite rude. At the end, when we were done with the food, she asked "Do you need the check or do you want to drink more?" I have never heard servers wait tables like these, especially at upscale places. The food was good. The truffle fries did not taste any different like sweet potato fries. The salmon caviar on chips was good. We ordered the Filet Mignon and that was superb! The meat was succulent and juicy. The chocolate fondue at the end was just okay.
Whenever my friends and I want to hang and down a few bottles of Veuve we cruise to the back room of Corridor 44. Â It's low key, aesthetically pleasing, and the music is super chill. Â There isn't another place in this city where we can sip champagne while Oceanlab and Blackmill radiate through the speakers. Â Love the attentive servers as well!
Normally we have a liquid dinner, but one night we decided to have actual food. Â We ordered the mussels, seared scallops, and the surf & turf to share. Â Everything was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. Â Definitely looking forward to eating there again in a couple of weeks.
Corridor 44=Cougar Town! I swear I was looking over the cocktail menu and thought to myself, well out loud to my friends, that it made me thing this might be what cougar ladies order. Â My friends laughed and a few got it, but the rest pretty much ignored me. Until we looked over and there was a table full of dressed up ladies in their 40's & 50's. We cracked up. Â I mean, slow gin fizz, I'm laughing as I type.
We enjoyed champagne cocktails, what Corridor 44 is known for. Â My friend had the cucumber which I tried and found quite refreshing. Another friend & I each order the Neapolitan. Â I really liked it. It's just a shame that you really only get a few sips. Â It would be fun to sit down and try more of these cocktails but I found that I was needing more (I'm kind of a whiskey gal) and I wasn't about to order a slow gin fizz!! Haha.
This was the first stop on my bacholorette night. My ladies reserved the private room in the back of the restaurant which made the whole experience even better! We indulged in all kinds of drinks but my drink of choice was Moet. We also ate dinner here and the food was outstanding. I ate a burger (hey I was about to really get to drinking so I needed some sustenance) and it was SO GOOD! The service was outstanding. I don't know if it was because we had reserved this special room or what but over all the whole experience was fantastic. A great way to start out an epic night with my favorite ladies!
Considering my love for Champagne I will be back with my husband soon!
my wife and i stumbled upon this bar for happy hour.. she loved the "champagne" cocktails.. they also have beer on tap.. .and for 4 bucks.. we were both happy.. so happy that we came back the next day and had some of their bar food.. it's definitely a classy joint that seems to cater to women and it seems like it would be cool for a girl's night out or if you wanna take a girl here for a night cap..
Review Source:I didn't know a thing about Corridor 44 before going. Â We attended a going away for a co-worker and the group had reserved the back room. Â Everyone was drinking champagne which I found odd until I realized I was in a champagne bar. Â The drinks were good and well priced. Â It does get crowded and I was glad that we had our own area but also felt removed from the rest of the action.
Review Source:If you've a hankering for cheap bubbles, this is your place. Whenever I'm lucky enough to be out of work by 5, which is not often, I find myself heading to Corridor 44 for a $4 glass of bubbles and some truffle fries. Oh, the truffle fries are divine. I had drinks with a friend one who managed to eat nearly the entire bowl herself and then picked up the bowl to tap the parsley crumbs into her mouth. It was only when she noticed me staring, my mouth agape, that she realized she'd probably gone a step too far. But they are so good you forget you're in public.
I find the bubble cocktails on the sweet side and usually get a plain glass of bubbles. I've not been post-happy hour but can imagine it could get costly.
I've never had a bad experience here. Great for a date night, or a girl's night out on the town. They don't have a lot of space and their larger booths get booked up pretty quickly, but  their private room is funky and fun (though it can be really dark during the day - definitely an evening place to hang out). Angela, the event planner, is a pleasure to work with.
Champagne cocktails are delicious - I LOVE the Black Velvet (Guinness and Champagne). Sounds weird, but actually a decent pairing. Food is also very well done - their roasted chicken is always perfectly executed.
They've got a full bar with beer for the guys who aren't big into cocktails too, so there's something for everyone here. Will definitely continue to hang out here - we've got reservations tonight!

This was champagne bar, and it was really unique, classy, very nice! Â All their martinis have a spritz of champagne to make it bubbly. Â I don't really like champagne much, but the spritz of champagne was interesting and made it very unique. I would def. recommend this place and come here again!
Review Source:I can't get over how cute Larimer st. is! Went here for a quick drink and I ordered the brazilian wax--talk about a funny name for a drink. This was one of the best cocktails I've ever had! The place is super cute and there's is a small patio area. The inside is very nice as well. Stop by if you want a tasty, fancy cocktail.
Review Source:Hmm interesting place. First, note the discrepancy between people sitting inside and outside. Those that are inside are well-dressed and ready for a night out on the town. Those seated outside are in t-shirts and sandals.
Since I was better dressed that day, I was seated inside. The booths are nice and cozy, and carry a sense of intimacy. Some of the servers seem a little out of place, like they were still serving at a $10 bar and grill earlier that day. Nonetheless, they know their alcohol.
I was scanning the drink menu for something from Colorado, and finally settled on this Colorado whiskey on the rocks. They gave me a generous pour and it was definitely on the strong side. Props for that.
Food tastes decent, but comes in pretty weak portions. I could eat here and at two other places afterwards. Definitely not on the cheap side of the fence, but I'd say you come here for the drinks and the ambiance more so than the eats.
This is definitely one of the classiest of places in Lodo. Â It's great for girls night out, or even a romantic date with your loved one.
The ambience is trendy, white leather booths, mirror lined hallway, lightly dimmed (everyone looks amazing in this place). Â They have a great big list of champagne cocktails and the food here is really really good. Â Defintely a 5 star kind of place.
Been here three times now and it's a great place to come before or after dinner.
Went on a ladies night, and it was so loud and crowded that I would prefer to come on a different night. So I did. I came back with my friend the next evening and it was more what I was looking for. Traveling for work, we just wanted to have a champagne cocktail and relax, and Thursday was perfect for this.
We had the same server both nights and she was so sweet. I really liked her.
Great place for yummy champagne!
Been hare a few times now, and am a huge fan.
Several times for drinks and once for food. Â
The place has a classy demeanor. Â Dress nice for sure, but not required. Â The bouncers looking guys outside are actually genuinely friendly, not trying lure and be elitist. Â There is a nice VIP room in the back. Â Can get crowded as it is a cozy type place.
Overall, once you figure out what you want from the place, you will certainly enjoy.
DT
What a charming find! We started here early (8p) having heard that it gets pretty packed later in the night.
They're known for their champagne drinks - I tried the Ruby Red champagne cocktail (huge fan of all things grapefruit!) and Ruby Red martini. I prefered the martini but both were tasty!
Went here with a bunch of girlfriends it was our first visit. The décor was great and super inviting.  We were able to get a bunch of different appetizers and the cheese plate was great not micro-size portions and the potato skins were good a bit tiny but still delicious.
Our server Stephanie was FANTASTIC she listened to our questions about the drinks and made excellent recommendations. Â I would say try a champagne flight worth the money and the Moulin Rouge was tasty. Â Main course was seared sea scallops wonderful light taste not over done which is a huge plus. Â Others had the filet not a fatty piece of meat at all and everyone's was done to the right temp and the veal demi glaze had a nice finish. Â
Fun place to visit and a great experience with all their cocktails.
I would rate this place higher if it wasn't so packed. Because they allow people to come in and order at the bar, by 830 we had people's backsides resting on our table the whole meal. Â Kind of frustrating when you are trying to enjoy a meal and drinks. Â Plus it was so loud that we were yelling to hear each other. Â
The champagne cocktails are to die for. Â The Strawberry Sunrise and Hawaiian Mojito drinks are amazing. Â I want to go back just to try the cucumber gin one. Â
The mini brie stuffed potatoes and salmon chips are good, but the cheese plate is the best deal by far. Be warned, the truffle oil over overpowers the chicken. Â I could only eat half my meal because the truffle oil was just so strong. Â The salmon entree was a little small and left much to be desired. Â
Don't be fooled by the "best molten cake in denver". Â Its good, but itty bitty. Â You will take 3 bites and be done and upset that you spent that much $ on a baby sized dessert. Â
I recommend this place for drinks, but go eat dinner elsewhere. Â Don't waste your money. Â Go to Rioja next door.
Great food, fun drinks, good service.
Have been here before for drinks and desserts but had always wanted to try the food. And comes in Restaurant Week... we were delighted with the outcome.
Food: We started with the salmon caviar chips and mussels. The chips dish is very unique and although it was a small portion, the flavors were a great mix. The mussels were good and the portion was impressive. We didn't count them but there must have been close to 30 mussels in the bowl and the sauce at the bottom complimented the mussels for a great taste. I had the scallops for dinner and my husband had the petite filet, both were cooked perfectly. The steak was done specially right and the potatoes and asparagus were delish. The scallops were good as well, big scallops but only 3, which was a bit dissapointing. The truffle dessert was very yummy!
Service: The service was good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with suggestions for a bottle within our budget. Excellent service was received by the manager (or who we think was the manager) who stopped by several times to ask about our experience and filled our flutes as we finished while chatting with him. The one knock was our food had a little delay, our waitress said one of our dishes went missing so it took an extra 15 minutes after our apps. 15 minutes is not a ton of time but it was unnecessary since it should have been out on time.
Decor: The walls have cute sayings (not cluttered) and the lights/chandeliers were very romantic. The mirrors and curtains give it a nice classy touch. The only small complaint would be about the size of the restaurant. The front is taken over by the bar and the walking hall to the back is along the tables and is narrow. If it is not crowded, it is fine but if there are a few people standing by the bar and people walking in the hall, it is a bit snug.
We will definitely come back here and recomment it to anyone who is willing to pay a bit more for good food, nice atmosphere, and a great glass of champagne!.
I know I say this often, but it's decent for LoDo.
We came with a large birthday group and I'm glad we did as the organizer was able to snag the private back room (you have to order $200 in stuff at a minimum per hour, but if you have 25 people, it's not hard to do). Â It was a Saturday night and the front was PACKED.
I was surprised by how effective our server was when dealing with a group of more than 20 by herself. Â Our drinks arrived promptly and she made plenty of rounds. Â She also remembered names on tabs so there wasn't a bunch of hullabaloo when we closed out. Â I was also surprised at the reasonable prices for champagne flights. Â I ordered the "varietal" (all cheap, I'm sure, but I can't tell the difference) which was three different flutes of bubbly for $16 (about $5 a piece). Â I also had a cucumber gin fizz (St Germain, gin, bubbles, and cucumber)....good, but a bit sweet for my tastes.
Food is standard and a bit overpriced. Â The boyfriend and I shared a caprese sandwich and tuna crudo. Â If I'm paying swanky food prices, I'd prefer to be in a swankier place. Â Corridor 44 intends to be swanky, but the rowdy frat types lining the very narrow interior is not terribly conducive to swankiness.
Really cool old space with mirrored tables and crystal chandeliers. Â This place would be great for a sort of "ladies weeknight out" but it worked well for a big group on the weekend as well. Â Just call ahead and go for the back room.
Went her with some friends from work for the Safari/Denver Zoo Lights Event.
The place was a nice size. There's a large bar, booths, small tables, and a large room in the back. From the outside it looks very sophisticated, but It did seem a little cheesy with its chandeliers and pink, black, and white color scheme. For a Tuesday it was very crowded. When we left the event business men and women filled the entire front room(this was only around 6:30PM-make a reservation if you can!)
The champagne menu had a lot of great choices. I had the strawberry sunrise (champagne, sugar, strawberry puree, and orange juice) and my friend had the caramel apple. We also had food included in the event price. Â All of the guests were served the smoked salmon caviar chips, roasted tomato, basil, mozzarella sandwiches, and prosciutto, brie, spiced apple sandwiches. They were ok, but nothing fancy and the sandwiches got soggy overtime.
The staff was very attentive. They made sure we had enough food, explained menu items, and always returned to see if we needed new drinks. It was a fun night out and new experience (I have been to Larimer Square multiple times, but have never gone to Corridor 44), but I don't know how often I'll return.
Went here with a bunch of friends to finish off the night out on the town. Â Its mainly a champagne and wine bar, but we were sticking to beer and alcohol on this night. Â We didnt even look at the menu. Â The bartender seemed a bit perturbed when we only ordered beer for our table. Â Oh well. Â Not much else to say other than the space is classy and appointed thoughtfully, and the lights are low and easy on your drunk eyeballs. Â The large white tufted couch towards the back is a great spot for larger groups if you can get it. Â Otherwise there are a few booths and tables, and a decent sized bar to pop a squat.
Oh, and watch out for the tallest woman in the world who will try to eat you alive after shes had a few. Â I have pics to prove it.
Went here with my lady coworkers for some delightful, bubbly champagne cocktails. We were there in the late afternoon, so we had the entire back room to ourselves, which was a lot of fun. Our server was very attentive, and filled us in on the resident ghost.
Since we were only there for an hour or so, it was impossible to try all the different kinds of champagne cocktails. I'll definitely be back to try some more!
Cozy. [big booths, mirrors and crystal chandeliers=perfect]
Romantic. [pinks, dark wood & high ceilings!]
Chic. [totally just stepped into a French bar :) ]
Just a few words to describe the feel of Corridor 44.
Decent. [nothing super special but good enough]
Friendly. [our waitress was nice and had a few recommendations!]
Beautiful. [um, gorgous people are employed here!]
Just a few words to describe the service & staff.
Delicious. [try the meat and cheese platter. yum!]
Perfect portions. [not too big, not too small!]
Amazing concotions. [ i feel in love with the ruby red champagne drink!]
A few words to describe the food & drink.
Overall, I really liked this place. Despite the high priced happy hour, it was worth it.  Feeling classy sipping  champagne while munching on appetizers makes for a happy Katie :)
I loved our large table near the back of the main room. The evening was prime for people watching from our spot.
Our server was great and made several good recommendations. We wound up ordering a ton of apps and then still hungry ordered more. A+ on their sparkling martinis in a variety of colors and flavors.
Overall I think the menu is off- from apps to large plates and salads. It's not cohesive.
I would go back here for drinks (if I could find a spot at the bar), but not to eat dinner.
Visited Corridor 44 for 5280. The atmosphere is awesome--and definitely the highlight of the place. The food itself was good, too. The appetizer I ordered, green curry mussels, were awesome. My main dish was the salmon (sadly they were out of scallops, which I'd been waiting to eat all day!), and it was great! I was pleasantly surprised; it was some of the best salmon I've ever had. As mentioned in other reviews, the portion sizes were perfect -- I didn't get too full as often happens during restaurant week.
My date had the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, although certainly not mind-blowing.
The dessert, which my date and I shared, was pretty ho-hum....I got the fondu and it was just plain dark chocolate with literally 4 slices of banana and a few strawberries...and 2 crunchy cookies. Definitely not worth the $4 premium it tacked onto the regular 5280 menu price.
Service was decent, but I felt a bit rushed and our server wasn't particularly friendly. Other than that, no complaints! I'll definitely be back, even if it's just for happy hour...the drink menu is extensive, creative and fun.
I want to like Corridor 44, because I keep hearing they have fantastic food. Three scenarios have happened to me here.
1. I couldn't get in the door. This happened a while back. The bouncer kept letting people in and out, but not my group.
2. I breezed in the door this past weekend in the mood to celebrate, but stood at the bar for 10 minutes and couldn't get service.
3. I did have a cocktail here once during an early afternoon crawl with a friend, and we'd probably had too many before we even got there. We did get great service, but we were also the only people in the place.
Maybe I'm just the wrong demographic or something. But after a few tries here, I'm ready to turn my attention elsewhere.
Wow - if bars had egos...
A friend of mine and I split off from the birthday group last night to slip in to Corridor 44 for flights of champagne while everyone else went for gelato. Â We walked in and took our seats in the front window and waited 20 minutes before asking the hostess if we might get a server. Â She told us that our server was closing out a ticket and that she'd be with us soon.
Ten more minutes passed, so we just leaned over the bar and asked for the flights ourselves. Â When our server finally brought the champagne she was nice enough but she seemed oblivious to the fact that moss was growing on our asses.
Just so we're clear - I'm doing *you* a favor by going to your bar - not the other way around. Â
What a buzz kill.
This isn't a spill-over place for the drunkards coming from trashy establishments like 5 Degrees, Monarck, etc. This place is for people with some sort of decency and personality.
Love the champagne mixed drinks, the bartenders are amazingly cool to hang out. Can get extremely crowded, but if you get a chance, check out the back rooms - very cool place to hang out. Definitely recommended. One of my favorites, along with Parallel 17 on 17th and Franklin.
WARNING: not writing in caps as i am massively hungover.
as others posted i agree this place is chic. but they failed to mention the elegance, charm and welcoming atmosphere. i'm a fan!
the name itself is so catchy. this is one of THE sexiest places to have drinks. "meet me at corridor 44" sounds like code for "sexy time" (which it's not guys, geez!). either sitting outside or indoors, the decor is definitely eye catching and fresh. i loved the white and black chairs and booths as well as the sexy low lighting. Â the most eye catching piece of decor is hands down the lavish yet antique looking chandeliers.
my friends and i probably drank the most expensive champagne in denver but was well worth it. cannot vouch for the food as we decided against it but hope to try some dishes next time. yes, i am optimistic.
will go back. service is cool and have to throw in the fact that the ladies room was extremely nicely kept.
I am never going here again.
The first time I went, earlier this year, I had a pleasant, if costly, time. good food, swift service and great champagne -- which makes everything better.
not even the $40 bottle of champers i shared could have saved last night, however. what was once a classy, serene little joint is now a replica of every bar within a mile of larimer square.
one word: karaoke.
another: sports.
last one: bro.
all this at a gilded, chandeliered champagne bar.
we went there for dessert after my birthday dinner. by the time we noticed the shitpile we'd stepped in, it was too late. the bottle was open. fortunately we didn't order any food -- not that we were given the option.
loud, rude, sloppy, stupid: pick an adjective, it applies. we drank our champagne at record speed and ran for our lives.
here's a scene that encapsulates the experience: while i was in the restroom (the elaborate sign was obviously ripped off the men's room door, by the way), a large group of popped collars arrived at the bar. my boyfriend watched in silent terror as they proceeded to give each other high-fives and scream, "KISS MY ASS!!!!" at each other repeatedly.
thankfully, we left moments later. we're never going back, either.
the one star is for what corridor 44 used to be. also, i accidentally clicked on it and now it won't let me take the star away.
