One of my favorite pizza places back home serves similar pizza so I was excited to find a place in Chicago that served funky pizza. I never heard of Dimo's until the CM Punk Best in the World premiere when CM Punk ordered Dimo's pizza for hundreds of fans waiting to see the premiere of his dvd. It was delicious and I knew I had to go back for more. I've had Dimos since then on two separate occasions, only because going to Wrigleyville can sometimes be a pain. I love Dimos, for 5 bucks you get a huge (not Bacci's huge, but still big) slice with a pop and it's a gourmet pizza. You can take it to go, or sit in and talk to your friends about how delicious it is without anyone bothering you. The only set back is that there's no cards or menu telling you what is what and what is on what and I'll be disappointed when a slice looks delicious but it has something I'm allergic to on it so it would be nice if there were some ingredients listed, but that's just me I guess. Plus, I feel bad asking when I'm sure the employees probably repeat it time and time again. Anyways, I love it and according to their FB they are opening a new location in Spring down in Wicker Park, much closer to me so I will be there raving about how delicious they are, so much more.
Oh and I should mention I've never had it delivered, I normally go there and just order by the slice so I'm not sure if they deliver various slices or if you have to have just one type of pizza delivered, but I'm sure another review will answer that.
PS:
Their special menu changes weekly!
Awesome place to come grab a slice of pizza. In a point and pick fashion on a set of stellar pizzas you cant go wrong, even when you don't know what's in the pizza you just pointed at. After a night of drinking with some buddies, you have to stop here before making your way home. Grab a slice, you won't be disappointed.
