I was in town for business and met a local who highly recommended this pub.  He was trying to figure out what would best fit my personality and style and he nailed it!  This is definitely a neighborhood pub where everyone knows each other and they are welcoming to newcomers.  I was there on a weeknight and it was busy!  But you could still hear the person sitting two away from you.  Hockey was on, the bartenders were very accomodating with a perfect pour.  
The wings were spiced just right.
If I lived in the area, I would definitely make this my regular stop.  I hope to one day return!

This place is a pretty great little Irish bar off the beaten path.  We went on a pretty busy evening (Saturday after Easter Vigil), but managed to snag six corner bar seats.  And the bartender?  GREAT.  Super friendly, knowledgeable about beer, and complimentary with cocktail orders.  They have a pretty nice selection of beer that changes.  The usual American-Irish-y menu you might find elsewhere in Boston.  

Eggplant fries are a great.
