A nice token after work bar located in Needham/Newton line. Â My favorite thing about the place is the setup and layout. Â The restaurants offers more group booths and 4 top highboys that I have not seen in many restaurants in the area. Â The bar hits you right when you walk in.
Service is on par as well as the food. Â Friendly staff and looks like re-occurring companies come here a lot :)
This place is great!
I went in on a trivia night. It starts at 7:00, wish it was 7:30 or 8:00, it would make it much easier for me, but if they did that the place would probably be jam packed. Right on walking in, me and my date were treated like a king and a queen. It was like I had walked in and slipped the manager $100 and said "take care of me", except I didn't slip the manager $100. They genuinely care about their customers, and it shows.
As far as the food, we got french onion soup that was french onion soup, curry fries; which were delicious, and I got a chicken quesadilla that was just how I had expected it. We got some fun drinks and they were delicious. A Pink Lemonade for adults and some other girly drink I'm embarrassed to say that I thoroughly enjoyed. It was a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
We left happy, full, smarter, and excited to come back. It's a huge inconvenience; it's out of the way, the traffic is a pain to get there at that hour, but we'll be back for sure. Good food. Good service. Good trivia. Good time.
I have passed this place a hundred times and have never wandered in until this past weekend, how bad could it be right? We walked in with a group of 5 on a Saturday night and only had to wait around 5 minutes. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Shepards pie and it was OK. The sauce was too light and didnt taste like a true shephards pie sauce. The mashed potatoes on top were tasty and the meat and potatoes were average. The meat tasted like it was minced and came from a can. The garlic bread was fine, toasted white bread with butter and garlic. Friends ordered nachos which they said were fine (lots of cheese!) and the spicy wings were good but very spicy.
The atmosphere was great and inviting. Chachkis on the wall and sports on the TV. Again, the service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall it was just OK and I am not sure if it worth coming back to.
