This weekend was our second visit to Europa. Â It's rare that, with so many restaurant options, we'll return to a place for dinner, but we had to introduce our family to the wonder that is Europa! Â
We don't live in the area, and the last time we were at Europa was in December - and the waitress remembered us! Â The gorgonzola fig crostini is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Â Everyone at our table had a different kind of ravioli, and they were all delicious. Â There was live music (a guitarist), but it was unobtrusive and fit the venue well.
It's nice to be able to bring your own wine, but I think that might be changing with the move to a new location. Â Chef Nicola told us that they would be moving at the beginning of March to a place with better parking and will then have a liquor license. Â Our only disappointment was that there was no gelato - I guess we'll have to come back again to get our fix!
Not a fan of the menu change, but decided to try the Greek Tycoon. My wife opted to try the La Principessa, since both of our favorites are no longer on the menu. The salad, composed of spring greens, orange chunks, feta cheese, and a white chocolate balsamic vinaigrette, looked good and fresh, and tasted bright and refreshing. My wife's meal wash delicious, but my lamb was crispy enough to turned into lamb bacon bits. The Waitress was very apologetic and refunded that part of the meal, so all in all I wouldn't let it stop me from eating here again. This is one of my favorite restaurants, but this review is based on this visit alone.
