One of my least favorite bars in the area. Â We have had problems with this place during Marti Gras before. Â We paid the $10 for cover to all of the bars but at Midnight they started to charge cover because they said that it was a new day and the wrist band was only good for one date. Â This bar also is normally were the just turned 21 kids go to as well. Â Just not my crowd.
Review Source:I was in a party of 3 and had a $50 coupon. Â The coupon was good on alcohol too, so not a bad deal. Â We ordered our drinks (beer), and when they were brought to our table, there was mass confusion as to what was what. Â We decided we could live with whatever we were drinking, so we didn't make a fuss. Â I asked the waitress what Cosmo's was known for, and she replied the burgers and the fish. Â 2 in our party order a burger, and the 3rd, the fish. Â In my opinion, the burgers were not even average. Â My friend told me the fish was so-so. Â The atmosphere seemed a little bit country, and maybe this place doesn't get going until later. Â We were there at 9pm on a Saturday, and there were two other patrons. Â Cosmo's is not a place for a return visit unless someone arranges a large group to meet there.
Review Source:This place is such a hole in the wall. Â Being right in Mainstrasse, I wanted it to be better. Â It's just so... not. Â My main complaint about Cosmo's is that it smelled funny. Â That's not ever a good thing when you go somewhere and plan to eat. Â I actually didn't eat because of it. Â I did have a drink though.
In spite of all this, I had a decent time at Cosmo's hanging with my friends, but I don't really want to go back. Â The redeeming quality is that they were playing some good music and I like the laid back atmosphere.
