This is a nice old little restaurant, literally. It is a little cramped but that is part of it's charm. The area, building and decor should strike a spark of nostalgia for you.
I went for lunch and had the oven roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were outstanding, but that is the first time I have ever seen them served with honey instead of some type of mayonnaise based dipping sauce (which i opted for).
Ive been here 3 or 4 times with friends. I live right around the corner and this is definitely the first place i think about when I have a friend in town and we're eating lunch. I recommend their fried green tomato sandwich, with a side salad. so good. friendly staff, super cute place.
Review Source:I love Otto's, but breakfast isn't in their wheelhouse. Â My wife got the casserole and it was cold. Â Not warm. Â Cold. Â You could tell it was made very early AM or day before. Â Flavor was nonexistent. Â My sons waffle was bland and I got the bagel with salmon. Â The cream cheese overwhelmed every other taste and the bagel was equally disappointing. Â Short of the coffee and the goetta I give it 2 stars. Â
I like ottos, but not for breakfast/brunch
