Definitely one of the lamer bars in Denver. Fairly expensive food and though they have some good deals, the drinks can also be more expensive than they appear. My friends ordered shots of whiskey with a side of ice..which they assumed would be a shot of whiskey and a side of ice. Instead they got the ice and whiskey already put together. And instead of paying the price of the shot as listed in the menu, they had to pay a higher price because it was considered "more alcohol," even though they were not informed of this and no bar I've heard of charges more for basically ice. Ridiculous.
The service was also ridiculous with our sever unable to take more than a few orders at once and basically really slow and not able to clarify anything. I had to ask for water multiple times and she got my side order wrong, for example. I know that we had a lot of people in our party, so I can excuse some of this, but not the patronizing tone she gave my friends when her mistake led to them being overcharged.
In general this place is just so fake and corporate and presented as here is what our focus group thinks a Irish bar should look like. There are so many better ones in Denver, even in downtown. No reason to bother with this one.
