I have never looked at an array of food in the food case and salivated over almost every single one.  From pasta to chicken  to salad, this place has everything your heart could desire.

Since we couldn't agree on 1 salad, we got their lunch special, 3 for $8.99: Greek Salad, Curry Chicken and Cabonara salad.  All of them were fantastic and we were fighting over it.

Their menu changes daily.  Cannot wait to go back and try more yummy goodness.

Just the best food in town. Staff are great and give 110% all the time. So clean and professional highly recommended.

Very bright and clean. It just looks fresh and makes you excited to dig in without guilt. Food choices are exciting while also being simple with clean flavors. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. A little light on the protein though.

I love Fresh Table, for lunch down at the market or take home meals for my family. I like the curried chicken salad, rustic sandwich, salmon anything, and roasted veggies, but with offerings that change daily, I don't hold too tight to anything and just go for what looks good. My significant other likes their mac and cheese and we had a chicken once that was really good as well.

They use biodegradable plastics and utensils which I enjoy, I don't know that there is a public place to dispose of these so I often take them home, but it's nice either way.

The chefs are fun and kind to talk to, clearly valuing good food and fresh products.

Yesterday (12/8/11) I was down here getting some stuff for a dinner party I am cooking for tomorrow. I was hungry and wanted to get lunch from somewhere I have not tried yet and boy I was impressed.

Meredith the co-owner/co-chef was very helpful and I got the three salad lunch for 7.99.  I asked Meredith for favorites and she pointed out the cous cous with edame and dressed with toasted sesame oil, it was really good ,the sesame oil somewhat overpowered it though.  For my second salad I tried the curry chicken with grapes and it was delicious as I have heard from all my friends. The curry doesn't over power the chicken, but rounds it out.  For my third salad I had to try the egg less egg salad made with tofu. Where has this salad been all my life, I am not usually a fan of egg salad, but after eating this I am.  I had been intrigued when I saw the egg less egg salad in Polly Campbell's new favorite dish and it is a winner.

Sure the prices are a bit higher than your grocery store deli, but hey they make everything there almost every day and the staff is super friendly.

This is now going to be a must stop when I go to Findlay market.

I hadn't been to Findlay Market in about a year, I know, shame shame, and I did not remember this place. I ordered 1/4lb samples of the (Curry Chicken Salad ) and (Turkey with tarragon). I found the Curry to be the best of those two. I loved that co-owner Meredith said she (didn't have bags or something) was anti paper and thus gets some kudos for being a green establishment. All of the food offered that day looked great and appetizing. I will have to come back more often than once a year and sample some more of Fresh Table's food. Keeping the portions small helped make the cost seem more reasonable and enables one to eat more of the many options. Enjoy!

Fresh Table has variety of made-from-scratch dishes that you can take home for later or eat on the spot.

The new tastes will make your palate tremble with curiosity: sauteed masago eggplant, curry chicken salad, spicy Thai green beans, pumpkin soup, Cajun shrimp, and some of the best tuna salad ever. All of these I have tried, enjoyed, and purchased again.

While I'm ordering, others seem to be stocking up on the vegetarian lasagna, bread pudding, and prime rib. Pretty much everything must be good here. The servings are about $8/pound. It's very easy to spend $20 here though.

During certain times of the day, you can watch the chefs preparing the food on a big screen TV above the booth. The kitchen has a few cameras in it to show that everything is indeed fresh, not scooped from a bucket like at a Mega Mart.

Fresh Table is a great place for take away food and for dinner hosts. If you like new, exciting foods you must give it a try!

This is gourmet/bistro deli section.  They sell from pasta to seafood meals to meat dishes.  All great and also clean.

This will be obvious if you've been, but if you are looking at this review, trying to find a place to sit and eat...this is not a sit and eat place. Just wanted to clear that up.

Fresh Table is like a high-end deli counter...not for deli sandwiches, but for already-prepared food that you take home and fake like you made it. Everything they have is made by expert chefs with fabulous flavors (sometimes a bit too fabulous; their hot mett lasagna is a bit too hot for me). It can be pricey, but worth it if you are looking for something pre-prepared to take home. I think it is a great option if you were supposed to cook something, but didn't...or wanted to have a nice dinner at home, but didn't actually want to cook it.

I recently had a friend with a family emergency who needed dinner...and I didn't have anything to cook at home, and no time--but whipped up a gourmet meal for them anyway (thanks, Fresh Table)! In this case, I was happy to pay a bit extra for a really nice meal for my friends-much better than something I could cook, especially at late notice.

There are some glass counters that just make your drool. Fresh Table is one of them.

Every time I walk through Findlay Market, I have to stop and look right here. This is the spot for dinner. Not everyday dinner, mind you, but when you're trying to be fancy or impress or throw a dinner party and can't cook it yourself, this is where to stop.

There always seems to be something new at this stand. Pasta dishes, chicken dishes, meat dishes, sides of everything. I have never ordered anything here that wasn't delicious and, as the name implies, fresh.

In the later parts of the day, you can actually watch the chef's cook from their back kitchen. They have cameras set up and broadcast on the TV above the stand, so you can see just how new everything is. I love that.

It is expensive though. You're paying for quality of products and freshness of cooking, so it's going to be more than your normal grocery store. However, you're also paying for taste and expertise.

So again, this isn't my go-to every trip to Findlay, but it is my go-to to drool over the glass case ... and I usually do end up taking something home more often than not.

Fresh Table is a great addition to Findlay Market - it's become one of our regular stops and we always pick up a meal or two there. So far everything we have tried has been incredible.

Fresh Table is one of the newest stalls to take up space at Over-the-Rhine's beloved Findlay Market.

I drooled over massive piles of meaty lasagna, two kinds of chicken salad, a savory bread pudding, prime rib, two kinds of potato cakes. Owner Meredith Trombly told me they aim to offer around 40 or 50 made-from-scratch dishes/entrees every day. The dishes are made as needed, and she says they haven't had a single dud recipe since they opened less than a month ago.

After wiping the saliva off my chin, I settled on half a pound of grilled veggies, half a pound of the curry chicken salad, and a quarter pound of a spicy Thai pasta.

Each dish I enjoyed was $7.99 per pound - a price that another Findlay Market vendor remarked was too rich for his blood. For an everyday work day lunch, I'd probably agree, as I consider it a triumph if I can score lunch for six bucks or less.

Still, I could see Fresh Table being my go-to place when serving dinner to friends in the evening and needing a source of quick, gourmet offerings to round out a meal.

And I was pleased when Meredith told me she'll deliver to folks in Over-the-Rhine and Downtown Cincinnati, meaning I can even "order in" if feeling lazy.

Keep in mind, Fresh Table keeps the same hours as Findlay Market, so consider that as you make plans to swing by or have something delivered.
