Service was poor. They got our order wrong and we had to wait a half an hour for a shake. All that aside, the food was delicious and the atmosphere is fun.
It's a medium-priced burger place thats good for bigger groups. We went late on a weeknight so it was not very crowded, so I can't comment on how they handle rush-hours,but our food came out quickly,

I miss going to Fuddruckers from when I was a kid.  This is the only location I know of in the Twin Cities area, and the warm and friendly atmosphere has not changed. I do enjoy the condiment bar and being able to pick my own toppings, though you do pay a bit more than some of the other burger joints around the cities that offer wait service.

Great for a chain place, I ordered a deluxe burger with bacon and mushrooms on it and once at the topping bar I added lettuce tomato, onions, pickles, mayo, spicy brown mustard and cheese sauce and also got some cheese sauce for my fries and it was great. I really loved how fresh the ingredients are for the toppings, I was in burger heaven and my 4 year old daughter loved her chicken bacon swiss sandwich with fries and oreo ice cram treat and my 85 year old grandma loved her burger and fries as well. If I was to have a complaint of this place it has nothing to do with food quality or customer service at all is the other customers were annoyingly slow at the topping bar and fountain pop machine, like dude it doesnt take 20 freaking minutes to put toppings on your burger or to refill your pop glass and then sit their blocking the fountain machine before you even know what pop you want. I had to put all of the fixings on my daughters as well as mine and my grandmas burgers because my 4 year old would drop her plate and my grandma has joint issues so needs assistance just walking  let alone carrying a plate and walking to table on top of that, so like 10 minutes after we got food I was back at table because of other people dinking around, pay attention if thats you and get the hell out of the way. The customer service was great here as when we were done eating my daughter wanted kiddie toy junk out of a vending machine and while putting my dollar worth of quarters in machine the toy which was a ball rolled out of the machine on the floor then underneath another game machine and my baby was heart broken for a minute cause she thought she lost her toy, wrong, the manager on duty came to the rescue and moved the machine the ball was stuck under and retrieved the ball for her. That was awesome. Also my bill was under 40 bucks for 3 meals and desert for me and my daughter and they dont ask if you want to tip on there reciept you have to sign if you use your credit card which is annoying that other places that do do that and your not getting waitor service or a pizza delivered to you rather you pick it up they try to make you feel obligated to still tip even though me the customer is still doing some of the work to get myself a meal and not being brought to my table or door. Everyone was stuffed after leaving so I definetly got my moneys worth and the food was great. I wish they still had the Roseville location as I loved Fuddruckers as a kid too but never go anymore because I live in Maplewood and am rarely in the southwest metro  so I probably wont be a frequent customer at this location but if they start building locations in the east metro again they will definetly get more of my business, hint hint Fuddruckers CEO.

Fuds has been through the ringer over the years.  25 years ago there were a bunch of Minneapolis/St. Paul locations that were always packed.  Over the years times changed and now we are down to the Edina location.  I almost forgot about Fuds until today when we visited it for lunch.

Not much has changed.  Burgers are still good and the works bar is great.  Fries are solid and the place was packed.  Sadly (for us) Fuds remains kid friendly so it gets a little busy.

Great to visit an old favorite again.  For a chain they do a nice job.  And heck, I can still pretend I am 25 years younger!

So we have returned after a horrible visit since the bf loves this place and hasnt been the minnesota one. While the food was decent, the atmosphere is in severe need of help. I am suprised this place stays busy with how questionable the upkeep is...

The Fudd, as we like to call it, is an institution that my wife refuses to give up on. It's a pretty solid burger joint, although it's hard to see them lasting much longer with a Five Guys down the street, let alone an onslaught of other specialty burgers popping up on menus across the country. What you do get is a tasty burger with their trademark toppings bar--no need to explain to a pimply faced teenager that yes, you really do want a half-inch stack of pickles on your burger, thank you very much. Next time, we're going to give their specialty burgers a try. You can get elk, bison, and wild boar(!), in addition to chicken, turkey, salmon and veggie burgers. It's definitely a good place to bring kids, who seem to flock to the arcade section that hasn't really changed in 20 years. If you're looking for pan-seared foie gras or umami overload, this isn't the place for you. But if you want to kick back and relive the friday nights of your childhood, you can't go wrong with the Fudd.

As I mentioned in my first review, I returned to have the malt with my burger.....outstanding! I had a difficult time deciding what to order when I noticed a sign advertising a blackened chicken burger. I finally decided to order the Bacon Cheese burger I had on my first visit. I wasn't disappointed!

I'm not a huge fan of chains, but this one is awesome.  They have amazing burgers.  Juicy, flavorful, a mouthful...that's what she said.  It is a cool atmosphere for families and they also have a bar if you want something to take the edge off.

One of the first things I did when I moved to the Twin Cities and google the nearest Fuddruckers. There are about 20+ Fuddruckers in Houston (they are HQ-ed there) and it's always a favorite of mine.

The first time I ate at Fuddruckers, I was 8 years old and the principal  of my elementary school took me and another kid there for winning the essay contest "Principal for a day". I took my parents here afterward and it has become my dad's favorite too... except he can never quite pronounce it. Depending on the day it could be "Foot Locker" or "Food Rocker" (that's what happens when you're parents are Asian).  My family and I have been going religiously and I've even had a birthday party there.

Gotta love chain restaurants to make your favorite places consistent no matter where you are. I was jumping with joy seeing the oldies decorations, the wooden furniture, the big disco looking booths, and arcade games! I can't tell you how many stuffed animal toys I have from there.

Leave Fuddruckers to season your beef right on a buttery bun and the rest is up to you. There are so many ways to make your burger the way you like it...of you don't like you're burger at Fudd's it's pretty much your fault! There's a fresh produce bar where you can find whole leafs of lettuce, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, diced tomatoes, sliced onions, diced onions and pickles. Along the side are a variety of sauces (mayo, mustard, bbq sauce, A1, tobasco). They also have a huge tub of melted cheddar cheese and jalapeno cheese. Perfect to dip your seasoned wedges in or put on your burger! This time I got the 1/3 swiss burger combo (swiss cheese, grilled onions, and mushrooms). The mushrooms are oh so good. Topped my order off with a cookies & cream milk shake.

Fuddrucker's is one of my all time favorite spots to get a hamburger.  They make their buns fresh and they are the best I've ever had.  I also love the thick, crispy wedge fries with extra seasoning salt.  Fudds has a great condiment bar so it's very easy to customize your burger with all the toppings you want in the quantity you want.  Fudds is super casual and not fancy but sometimes you want to wear sweatpants to a restaurant :P  The only reason I give Fudds 4 stars is their bathroom is icky (cheap furnishings, smells like cleaning products, advertisements everywhere, run down). Fudd's isn't known so much for their bakery but definitely get the buns to go and cookies as well.  Their cookies are so tasty!

I go to Fuddrucker's for one thing:  to have a really, really good burger.  I've eaten burgers here and there and everywhere, and I always look forward to a half pound of Fudd goodness oozed with pumped cheese and sprinkled with iceburg lettuce.  The unnoticed hero of the whole burger is the bun.  Delicious.

Their fries and malts top it off.

I give it 5 stars because I know what to expect, which is consistently the "world's greatest burger" ,and nothing more.

This is essentially a burger joint.  Yes, I have a lot love for this place when I was a kid in the 80s with their snappy slogan, "...you wouldn't believe how big it is @ Fudd..."

That aside here is my pros and cons:
    Pros:
    * Kids love this place - free big cookie, corny art decor...Not sure 100% why but it works and my kids loves it.
    * Every kind burgers for everyone - Bison, Tuna, Ostrich, Elk, etc...
    * $1/bottle of beer pretty much every night.
    * Condiments bar is 2nd to NONE...  Fresh chopped 'salsa'(tomatoes, onions, herbs, etc), jalepenos, cheese sause(jalenpos and regular).  Essentially, they don't miss anything - trust me.
    * A free big cookie for most meals...
    * Very nice shakes.
    * Where else can you get a 1# burger...

    Cons:
    * Noise and lots of noise - again, kids love it.  Some adults not so much.
    * It is expensive for a family of 4 ~ $55-65 easy.

Fuddruckers is always pretty good.  When you are hungry, wanting something delicious, and also don't want to spend an arm and a leg.. this is your place.  The burgers are really good.  Not to mention how delicious their chicken sandwiches are too!

The best thing about this place, is they season their beef pretty well, and the rest is up to you. I'm pretty sure that makes me happy... I don't know about you! I love being able to have total control over my food and wishes.

This place is better too, the other location that I've been to, is the one in St. Louis Park.  The one in SLP sucks... way too many kids everywhere.  Fuddruckers caters to kids, but the one on Minnesota drive seems to have more people leaving work and grabbing a beer after a long day or so.. Not too many kids.

Overall, it doesn't seem to bother me.. I will still keep coming here. I enjoy the food too much to stop coming in because of some little shits ruining the vibe..

Oh, and I feel all the locations need a good cleaning.. tons of dirt on the ceiling, and, well.. everywhere!

I went to Fuddruckers last night for take-out.  I placed the order online via their website.  The food was just about to be bagged up for me as I walked up to the counter.  The people were great.

The one downfall was the dining room and the restrooms.  They both looked like a tornado ran through them.  Yuk!  Thank god we were doing take-out.

This place is good stuff if you're starving. Which I was on a Saturday afternoon. No breakfast. No lunch. Nothin'. So I decided to drive here for a half a pound of original burger, with cheese please. With my petite self, I certainly looked like a pig. But seriously, I stuffed myself. And you what? It felt sooo freaking GOOD. I also learned something that day. You won't actually feel full until you drink your soda. It's all downhill after and you find yourself back into your apartment with extra pudge in your stomach.

I have seen Fuddruckers for years and years, even when I used to live in Michigan.  But I have never eaten there until being here in the Twin Cities.  My fiance at the time, gushed about it...maybe because he was just hungry for a burger, but when you start talking something up to me, I have so pretty high expectations!

I was let down the moment I walked in.  I felt like we were mice walking through this wooden maze and then I didn't know you kind of make your own burger, but once you get your burger, they have a buffet of condiments and items you put on your burger.  Just looking at the array of items was not what I had in mind.  I figured buffets are for salads, not burgers.  Even still, I didn't find the burger that good.

I think that one trip there was good enough for me.
