Harold's Chicken Shack

Maybe im missing something? Many people told me that this was the go to spot for fried chicken in Chicago.This was blah. Never mind the 20 minute wait, yeah I understand that it's cooked to order but it doesn't take 20 min to fry 2 pieces of chicken at a fast food joint. After waiting that long I was expecting it to be exceptional, WRONG! The fries lacked salt, and the chicken had too much salt and the taste of black pepper was way too strong. Popeyes has better chicken than this place, don't waste your money or time here.

fries needed salt and the chicken tasted like pepper. best part about my meal was the bread.

Pretty bad, dry, smelly chicken. Was very surprised at how bad it was. Bad French fries too, soggy and undercooked or something.
