More like Hunan King of Bad Egg Rolls. If you name a place egg roll king and place a giant neon crown in the front window, your egg rolls better be good! Sadly, this was not the case. Also, my orange chicken had the texture of rubbery calamari. The only saving grace was that the owner was very nice and treated us like family, so I can't give them one star. Conclusion, nice people but bad food.
Review Source:I wouldn't know great Chinese food from good Chinese food, but I certainly know bad Chinese food. Â Hunan Egg Roll King is good food but doesn't excel much more than most of the other fast food places I've tried. Â It's a hole-in-the-wall place; blink & you'll miss it along the tiny storefronts along that stretch of Broadway.
They were friendly, and the food was tasty. Â The pot stickers were not the best. Â I asked for fried, but only one had the golden brown crispiness that you'd expect. Â The rest were steamed. Â The egg rolls were perfect. Â The Ma Pow Tofu was bland; why does every Chinese place over saturate the tofu with too much sauce? Â The best tofu is firm and sauteed before adding to the gunky brown sauce. Â The tofu cubes here were a little soggy.
A clean and tidy, family-run restaurant serving up delicious Chinese food.
This is a family run store. The lady behind the counter always so friendly and try her best to take care of the whole operations of the store. It seems that she take the order, cook  and serve the food too (not sure but, thats how it feels like). The husband and son i think mostly in-charge of delivery or something else.
The food is huge portion, Couple times I could eat it for lunch and dinner.
