WORST PART: CASH ONLY. I don't carry cash, so after a so-so breakfast now I need to have my husband run to the Chase two blocks away, just so the owners can avoid taxes.....yuck.......The food is OK, service is OK. However, there is always a wait! Reason being, it is small, and crowded. All the food is good EXCEPT the breakfast potatoes. I love the potato portion of the breakfast. The potatoes they use have sweet peppers and cilantro on them, for me, no bueno. My husband wasn't into them either, but that is more personal taste. My review is based on the fact that the food is just okay, and they won't take a card. Cash is sooooo... 2003...LOL
Review Source:Just visited this little spot for brunch this weekend and the food was reallllly good. My friend and I both got the chorizo potato hash thingy, served with eggs on top any way you want them and a generous dollop of guac. First bite...salty chorizo, creamy guac, roasted potatoes and peppers with sautéed onions- get out! The portion was huge so suggest splitting it with someone. The homemade jam on the table just like grandma used to make it. My boyfriend got a standard eggs any style with a short stack of cakes.  He is a simpleton when it comes to his breakfast choices so he has had this meal at almost every breakfast serving spot in Chicago. He said the cakes were the best of any he's had.
The service was excellent, our server was very attentive, my coffee and water were never empty, and we were seated quickly. Â The only complaint is that it is tight quarters in there. If you arrive and there is a wait the only place you wait is outside. Â Definitely a spot we will hit again for that hash thingy!
