This is kind of a weird place. Â No real bathrooms, no food. Â Essentially, it's like a beach bar in the middle of Boston. Â It does have some nice views and a typical (young, kind of douchey) after work crowd. Â Draft beer is $6.25 per plastic cup which is kind of a rip off and the tunes are blasting. Â
Long story short, it was relaxing to be outside sipping a beer, not so relaxing to feel like I was at a frat party in college. Â So take from that what you will.
I never thought I would listen to Tina Turner and Al Green while watching a lacrosse match. Â Strange music. Â The bar staff were a little inattentive. Â I asked a bartender to close my tab then watched as she made a few drinks and chatted with a few other bartenders. Â I kept thinking that she surely couldn't have forgotten that quickly. Â But she did. Â About 5 minutes later, I finally had to ask a different bartender to close my tab. Drinks were a little pricey but you pay for the location I guess.
Review Source:Ordered some shots at the bar and we saw that the bartender did not clean out his mixing glass after making the drinks before ours. Our shots had some nasty pink sugary leftovers in them and were terrible. We complained about it to him when he was right next to us and he could obviously hear us because he quickly walked away. No one else on the bar staff would listen but the bouncers heard us, Â threatened us, and kicked us out. There are lots of great bars tucked away on the waterfront which have just as good a view, no reason to ever try this place again.
