Lincoln Park Noodle House

We used to live in Ravenswood and were very spoiled to be blocks away from House of Wah Sun, the best, most authentic Chinese Food in Chicago in my opinion outside of China Town.  However, when we moved to Old Town we have hard a very hard time finding a good Chinese food place to order in from.  Very mediocre, and expensive places in the area.  We decided to go out on a limb a try LPNH totally based on their pictures on their website and a few reviews we read on YELP. We were so happy when we got our food! First of all, they delivered in under 30 minutes and we live on the very south end of Lincoln Park/Old Town. We decided to get the sampler appetizer to try a few things.  All were good, but the Crab Rangoon was very flavorful.  We ordered the Pansit noodle dish, the Lo Mein with Barbecue Pork, and the Mongolian Chicken.  All were very good. Was not greasy at all. The Pansit is a very thin noodle and very well seasoned.  The Lo Mein noodles were perfect! I emphasize, not greasy as all, just flavorful  Anyway, you can tell, we were very pleased, and we are very picky foodies.  We have have eaten everywhere from Star of Siam to Roka Akor to Shine.  We love our Asian and don't mind paying for good food.  For take out in Lincoln Park (at lease for the Chinese dishes) I recommend this place.  I can't speak for the thai or sushi dishes, but  I plan to try those sometime as well.

Was pleasantly surprised by this place!

Good prices and really good food, plus BYOB, which always wins my favor. After mulling over the boring sushi selection (not a single unique or house special roll on the menu!), we opted for the chicken stay to start followed by the combination fried rice and the green curry with chicken. When our dishes arrived, they looked nothing like the pictures in the menu (that we based our food selection on, mind you), but were surprisingly delicious! The curry was amazing- sweet but with a nice little bite, perfect consistency, and the chicken was tender and soaked up the flavor of the curry. The combination fried rice was nicely seasoned and not at all greasy, and was generous with the protein :)

Recommend giving this place a chance!!

Great restaurant!  Great ambiance! Great food and the owner Ken really takes pride and it shows!  If you like Thai food and you're in the city, you should go.
