I really wanted to like this place.
The first impression was very good... Nice dark restaurant space and tables far apart... The ambiance is definitely top notch.. classy yet understated...
It all went downhill from there... The food was quite tasteless and felt quite cafeteria-ish.
The french-onion soup barely had any cheese and was not flavorful at all. The coq-au-vin was tiny and the meat, though tender, was bland and I ended up not finishing it. The mashed potatoes it came with were too flaky... like they were boxed potatoes.
My fiancee had the whitefish (of the day) which she thought had an extremely fishy odor and didn't finish her meal either.
The Creme brulee was pretty good and was the only dish we actually finished eating that night.

French Onion Soup: 3/5
Coq-au-vin: 2/5
Market whitefish: 2/5
Creme-brulee: 3/5
