Restaurant Review
Another LEYE dessert stand. The savory banana chocolate crepe was cooked on the spot. Depending on how many people are there you may have to wait. Prices are slightly above average for what you get but all and all delicious!
Pro- Crepe chocolate goodness
Con- Wait time

I stop here every time I go to the mall. I've been addicted to this place since I was a teen. My favorite crepe has always been the luscious lemon. So delicious!
I love to watch them make my crepe too, puts my attempts to shame. They are fast and friendly about their service. Crepes aren't too cheap. The luscious lemon is about $3.50, but other flavors can get up to $5. Definitely worth it though, instead of rotting your gut with the other food court foods.
Don't we all love the feeling of not having a stuffed stomach after eating a meal, and instead the body just feels simply satisfied. Crepes do that for me. My favorites at Crepe Stand are Chicken Santa Fe from savory crepes and Fresh Strawberry Crepe with Vanilla ice cream from the sweet list. Two thumbs up for this place.
Review Source:I thoroughly enjoyed both my savory and my sweet crepes! Â I tried the Southwest one without chicken and it was fabulous! Â So very good! Â The sweet was with strawberries and bananas and it was amazing as well. Â I cannot wait to come back and try all of the others!!!
Note: Â these are not your typical or traditional crepes you would find at a creperie, however, for being 'mall food' and trying to appeal to the masses, they are still really, really good! Â Service was fast and very friendly!
I cannot wait to come back!
Not the best crepes I've ever had...those were at the crepe nazi stand in La but not bad at all for mall food. It's the place I like to eat when at MOA.
I've tried the savory crepes:
Toasted Cheese, Bacon and Tomato: My fave, the cheese sauce is smothering in a good way and the bacon adds the saltiness I crave.
Ham and Cheese: Also good but not as good as the bacon one, comes on a buck wheat crepe not the sweet one.
Chicken Santa Fe: Was my BF's fave but tasted like chipolte to me, which I just don't think should go with crepes, for some reason I think crepes should only taste french not Mexican... my own stupid logic.
Now for the sweet stuff.....
Original Chantilly Crepe: amazing with apricot, candied nuts and bananas...oh my what a treat.
Luscious Lemon: I was surprised how much I liked this, was not sour but had kick and was very rich and creamy.
Banana Caramel: fresh bananas, warm caramel...not bad but I prefer the chantilly one.
Now stop reading this and go get your crepe on!
The menu is two fold: The sweet-dessert crepes and then then the non-sweet crepes. I haven't eaten many crepes in my life, though I find them tasty. My only experience has been sweet crepes with various berries on the breakfast menu at a chain restaurant.
On a recent trip to Mall Of America, I saw this place and knew immediately I wanted to include it at some point on my trip. I tried the "Chicken Santa Fe" and, in the category of fast food, it is one of the greatest things I've ever eaten. This is a personal opinion, of course. I just found that it not only had all my favorite mexican ingredients, but they were all evenly distributed in the perfect portions! It tasted perfect. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little, but for fast food, it really hit the spot. My only regret is that I didn't get the chance to eat here again before the end of the MOA trip.
Stopped by here for lunch when I was on my way to the airport to return home. Wanted something other than the regular food court fare. Interesting fast food concept from lettuce entertain you restaurant group (think big bowl, wow bao, etc). Â The menu for both savory and dessert crepes was not as extensive as I would thought it could be--but didn't expect they would be since there were only 2 crepe hot plates---not sure how they do when the mall is actually busy. Â
Since it was lunch time I opted to go savory and had the chicken divan, their original specialty crepe. Â The prices are decent topping off at $5.99. Â Being able to watch them smooth out the crepe batter on the hot plate is a nice added touch. Â I was slightly turned off by the microwave being used to heat up the fillings for the crepes but I suppose it beats eating things that have been sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long.
The taste of the crepe itself was decent, chicken was tender, broccoli tasted fresh frozen--but overall was pretty good will have to try a dessert one next time I visit.
This is a semi-regular stop for me when I am in the Twin Cities as I often stay near the Mall/Airport. I wouldn't classify Magic Pan as 'great crepes' they are just crepes (which beats no crepes).
The quality is always good, with options of more traditional butter only, nutella, and powdered sugar.
I am a fan of quick and easy crepes (as well as good crepes)
I love crepes, so I had to stop here when I was at Mall of America.
I ordered the Banana chocolate crepe, and it was super delicious. Â There was a lot of bananas and a good amount of chocolate. Â I had to pay an extra dollar for ice cream, but it was worth it..lol.
I like how there are tables and chairs right outside the crepe stand, so customers can sit down and enjoy the treat. =)
This crepe stand is near a bunch of the stand-alone carts in the MOA - so even though I love crepes, I'm usually speed-walking with my head down as I go past this place.
It's basically a food court setup, except that it's the only food option. Â The tables are kind of randomly in the middle of the walkway. Â The crepes come in a plate and mine have been pretty messy, so best eaten with a fork at a table.
I've only had the dessert crepes, which were quite good. Â The selection was not good, in my opinion - my usual order is nutella with strawberries, which is not offered here (and there's no 'build your own' option, either). So, I've settled on the lemon one. Â It's not as good as nutella and strawberries, but good enough :)
When I was living in the Balkans my diet mainly consisted of "palacinke" (crepes), both slatke (sweet) and slane (salty). So it heartens me to know that there is at least one place where I can get my palacinke on here.
This location doesn't seem to offer me crepes that provide as much satisfaction as the ones I was eating in ex-Yugo, or even France (for obvious reasons). I'm sure part of that I can attribute to nostalgija.
Unfortunately, because this location takes the fast-food aspect of it more seriously than it, there isn't as large of a variety as they could have. But as long as Nutella is involved then I will have my basic needs met.
As much as I loathe MOA, I will probably drop by here sometime at the end of the year to get my crepe fix.
I wish this stand was a stand alone restaurant! The crepes are great! They have a limited selection, but all of their types are good (breakfast and lunch). They always have a crepe of the day which is offered at a cheaper price. Service is organized and quick, working on a numbered system. The fruit in their breakfast crepes tastes fresh and their sauces are unique and delicious.
Only complaint would be that they are a little high priced, but the Magic Pan Crepe stand gives out a frequent buyer card. Buy 5 crepes and the 6th one is free.
It's amazing how this place could be like a fast food/food court type of place at a mall. Â It's very cool to see them making this. Â It looks so easy, but I'm sure it's harder than it looks. Â I had the Turkey Club Crepe, and it was kind of salty. Â I think it was the turkey and cheeses that made it taste this way. Â I would have liked some additional tomatoes, but I did also have guacamole on the side which made it better. Â The prices are reasonable, but it hit the spot for an afternoon snack that filled me up.
