Pricey, a bit run-down, but the food and service was excellent

Went here with friends. Awsome experience over. Service was above par both the server and the bartender in the main bar.

This chain has gone downhill the past few years like a boulder. I dined for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My first clue that my experience would probably be bad was how empty the place was on a weekend. The portions were super small and overpriced. I ordered broiled salmon accompanied with overcooked, limp vegetables (squash and onions) I have a very modest appetite but was still hungry after finishing my meal. The decor is dreary and dated. I definately will not be back.

Stopped in here after picking up a friend from work for a drink or two. It was pretty empty being a Sunday night and we grabbed a high-top in the bar area. The service was incredibly slow. Trying to flag down the waitress was an effort in futility. The manager eventually came by to ask how things were going and we said we had been trying to order a second drink (we had been there for almost 45 minutes with a single, empty drink in front of us and unable to get the waitresses attention). The manager took our order for the second round of drinks but didn't return with them. She had given them to our server to bring out, and the server brought them to the wrong table.

Aside from that, the drinks were small and expensive, I got sugar on the rim of my margarita instead of salt, and it was super dim in there. Not even a little mood lighting or candles. It was like they forgot to turn on the lights. I thought maybe we were being shunned since I walked in unshaven and in a t-shirt - since I had spent the day raking leaves and had only put down the rake to give my friend a ride. Stopping in here was a totally lark. But if that's why we were being ignored, then that's one more reason not to come back.

    Not a good experience.

I have been here three times with coworkers and my husband for happy hour and have been very pleased with the selection of cheap appetizers they offer. My biggest complaint, though, is that you have to sit in the bar to partake in happy hour. The bar is absolutely packed and you feel like you're on top of everyone else in there.
Also, if you don't order alcohol during happy hour, be prepared to be completely blown off by your waitress. While my coworkers drinks were promptly taken care of (they were all drinking), my water was never refilled... even after asking for a refill several times.
I can't comment on the rest of the food or the actual dining room because I've never eaten in there. But, happy hour is good if you're willing to brave the crowds.

I'm moving this from bottom to top, that both me and my client went to the company website (since the wait staff didn't get the manager) and we got nothing.  The sound of one hand clapping.

I gave Capital Grille 5 stars because they deserved it and my client and I would give this M&S location zero if we could.  We sat in the bar area at 5pm on a Wed. for dinner.  I had a fish and lobster combo, we shared the tuna appetizer.  Pilgrims using fat-coated paper for cabin windows could have used the slices of tuna from this joint and they would have let in 99% of the light probably versus the translucent paper.  I think a ceiling fan blew a few slices off the plate and we couldn't chase them down.

My entree had cold fish with an odd sheen on the top, and the kicker of weird and obtuse mouthfeel.  I thought it was reheated.  It definitely WAS sad and a blatant insult to the customer's smarts.  Sorry, meant to say it was heated and then re-somewhat-warmed.  Cold dry lobster tail, as if it were cooked for lunch and now served.  This was my 2nd trip to the location, my first I got a shrimp that was straight and limp - cooked dead - and a seafood expert location didn't even know.  What a disgrace.  They should rename this location McColostomy Bag.

The gal waiting on us was horrible.  Coast Guard helicopters or AEGIS radar on Naval ships couldn't find her.  She didn't smile, didn't make eye contact, didn't come around often.  When she did make a cameo appearance in response to the carrier pigeon message, I told her about the problems and she ignored them, she was straight useless.  I waited to talk to a manager and she didn't flag him or her down.  I had to leave.  My client's steak was just crap.  He laughed that he got a jaw workout, and he yearned for the tenderness of beef jerky.  The fact I waited to talk to a manager and then 2 of us contacted them through the website tells me to forget this small portion, overpriced self-important place.  They don't care.  Small portions.  Oooohhh it's in the Westin, and they toss airballs.

We've been here several times and sat both in the dining room and in the bar. The bar has good happy hour specials. We were disappointed though on a recent visit over St. Patty's day weekend when my husband ordered their fish & chips platter.  When it came out there were a ton of fries and three "pinky finger" sized portions of fish. My husband inquired about paying $18 for what he was receiving to the waitress and she stated she was surprised, too. She said she had served twice as much with previous guests same orders.  She asked the young manager guy if a few more could be cooked up as it seemed like he received the incorrect portion size. He stated that the portion sizes had recently changed but he would accommodate us this time. Although he "accommodated" us he was a real dink about it and it really turned us off to going there again.

Okay, years ago I ate at McCormick's and got sick afterwards, so I have never looked at it fondly.

However, my husband and his co-workers regularly utilize this location as their early afternoon Friday post work watering hole. (say that phrase ten times really fast) I really enjoy the prices of the food during happy hour and it is all delicious, but I still think there are wayyyyy better places to hang out for food and drinks during a happy hour within a 10 mile radius.

There was nothing particularly terrible or incredible about our experience here.  One thing that really stuck me was that the service was sofreakin slow!  I had the scallops and my friend had the ribeye.  Both dishes were fine but honestly, I would have been just as happy with a McDouble.  The salad was probably my favorite part of the meal with the cheese and the dried cherries, but again, not something that is exclusive to them.  For me, there are so many more promising restaurants in the area to return.

Stopped by for a HH with a coworker on Wednesday and I am quite glad I did!

Although Edina has silly rules about no happy hour prices for drinks, the food specials definitely made up for it. Especially because I'm such a lightweight I can only drink one before I can no longer make it home safely :)

We both had a beer and split three HH appetizers: Chicken bites with a asian inspired dipping sauce, bruschetta, and BBQ sliders.  All were very tasty and we downed every last morsel.  The dipping sauce was wonderful, I wish I could slather it on every burger from this day forward.  The bruschetta was also a yummy treat with a delicious balsamic reduction drizzle.

We split the bill and it ended up being less than $15 per person.  Not bad.  We will definitely return when we are a little hungrier next time because I want to try the burger pretty bad since I have heard great things about it!

    YUM!!
When has a place with such an extensive menu and $$$ had such a great happy hour?? Not only is the happy hour here phenom but the dining service is just as great! The menu is extensive and caters to a lot of different food items. I love how it has anything for me depending on my mood for that night. The service here is immaculate and management was surprisingly friendly which was refreshing!

A MUST TRY are the Sea Scallops or their Swordfish. The ambiance is fantastic as well...just because it's fine dining doesn't mean that you can't bring your kids here but definitely caters more towards adults and "foodies" such as I!

Their drinks are all hand-made as well which gives you a sense of "importance" or value. It shows that they love to take their time to hand squeeze fresh fruits for your liking. YUMMMMM!!!!

Prices here are a little high, but that also has its benefits because it means you're less likely to run into a family with a bunch of loud brats running amok and ruining your dinner.  ;D

We had a reservation for 4 and were seated promptly.  After a busy day of shopping and being awesome, we were ready to chow the hell down.  I wish I could remember our server's name from the other night because she was great.  Very attentive and personable.  The wine list is pretty good and I don't think it's marked very clearly, but you can order a 3-wine flight for $8.50.  It's a great deal because it's cheaper than most by-the-glass prices for everything else on its own.

For appetizers, I shared the coconut shrimp with one of my friends.  Very good -- the chili sauce and mango salsa are excellent compliments to the shrimp.  One of my other friends had some kind of raw beef appetizer (carpaccio or something?) which looked absolutely horrid to me, but she loved it.

For my entree I had the ahi tuna (yes, raw beef disgusts me, but I will come at a plate of raw fish like a spider monkey any day) which was great.  A nice generous portion of ahi and a tasty cucumber & seaweed salad.  Also included were three pieces of California roll (REAL California roll -- real crab!).  My friends were all very happy with their meals as well (one had the halibut, another the filet mignon, and the third I can't remember).

The disappointing part came with our dessert orders.  Our server said all the desserts are homemade fresh in-house, but we ended up seriously doubting that.  We ordered a Bailey's chocolate cake to share but it wasn't very good -- no flavor of Bailey's at all, and the cake part was dry as hell.  So we ordered something else instead (some kind of red velvet something or other that I can't exactly remember) but that was the same deal.  Dry and crumbly with very little flavor and way too much whipped-cream frosting.  Uchk!  It totally tasted frozen....not homemade at all.  Oh well.  Everything else about our visit was pleasant, so we weren't TOO bothered by it.

This is for the restaurant, not the happy hour which I think is fantastic.  Menus are printed daily, which is a great sign for a seafood restaurant no 'market prices' you know your 8oz lobster tail is going to cost $42 and the king crab is $49 that particular day.  I probably should have tried the daily special, I kind of regret not doing that.  I started off with the large Clam Chowder, it was room temperature and a little thick it was good but, I know a soup place that has better Clam Chowder that is served warm.  I think I had maybe 4-5 iced tea refills during the meal.  I opted for the pick 2 having spent way too much money on the companies prior 3 meals.  I opted for the crabcake and swordfish, both 2oz portions were fantastic.  I didn't weigh them but, the sword fish was the a little bigger than an Oreo double stuff cookie, the crabcake was double the size, glad I had the bowl of soup.  I made reservations for 6:15 upon arrival at 5:45 they informed me that my table was ready ( a bunch of them were) but, said I was going to take advantage of some apps at the bar before the fantastic happy hour shut down at 6pm waiting for the third in my party.  Since my office is on 494 this is a good close by seafood place to take a client to but, I don't think I would spend my own money here.

We were very disappointed with this restaurant.  We ate here when they first opened and wern't impressed but thought we would give it another try.  The only good thing in the entire meal was the green beans and the desert.  Here is my opinion on what we had:
Calamari "Frito Misto" - only about 1/5 calamari and the rest was vegetables fried to look like calamari.  Also, it was overcooked and chewey which I deem unexcusable for a seafood restaurant.
Maine Lobster Bisque - was more a gravy than a bisque.  Very string tasting and overpowering.
Monk Fish with Lobster Cream Sauce & Mushroom Risotto - monk fish was fine, cooked adequately but the lobster cream sause reminded me of cheese whiz.
Lump Blue Crab Cake - very little lumps of crab and all I could taste was the sage.  Way too overpowering and too much cream, not enough crab.

Hubby and I went for our anniversary dinner. When I booked the reservation on Open Table, I just put a note of it in the notes field. When we arrived, "Happy Anniversary" was the first thing the hostess said to us. When we were seated, which was very promptly, we were given a small gift of a free small plate on our next visit happy anniversary card. Then the waiter came and gave us our menu's. He also said "Happy Anniversary" and handed us our menu's. Printed on the top of the menu said "Happy 14th Anniversary". We were pretty impressed so far, and we hadn't even gotten the food. I ordered the Cod in a Mushroom Phyllo Dough and the Crab Cakes, while the hubby ordered the Salmon and Shrimp Scampi. I also started with the Walnut Mixed Salad and the hubby got the Clam Chowder. The starters were great, but the entree's were only okay. After dinner, the waiter then brought a small little something on the house, which was a scrumptious Raspberry Mouse in a Chocolate Shell with Fresh Berries and Whipped Cream. It was fantastic! The waiter did a excellent job through out the night. We'd return based upon service alone. Food was only okay, but would give it another try.

This is for a happy hour review in the bar only.

The happy hour food prices are quite good.  Every hour is happy hour for drinks, as there is some stupid Minnesota law or Edina ordinance about happy hour drink specials (shocking - a Minnesota law regarding alcohol).  Thus, they are the same price at all times.  Ultimately, I thought the beer and wine prices were "reasonable".

The food was quite good, especially for the price, although admittedly I usually get the $2.95 half lb. burger and fries.

Overall, the bar atmosphere is busy and happy.  I enjoy this part.  Being that it's attached to the Westin you don't have the usual clutch of Minnesota nice (which is to say, afraid to talk to you, much less look you in the eye) peeps in there.  Rather, you get at decent mix of business travelers and out-of-towners, which can only help the situation.  I'm not sure what another reviewer was talking about with the "blue hairs".  I've never experienced this myself and doubt it's true, as there isn't a $4.95 all you can eat special on the menu.

The problem that I have with this place is that the service is just so spotty.  Sometimes it's excellent, other times, absolutely piss-poor.  One time my wife and I grabbed a seat and waited for 20 minutes (yes, you read that right), and no one had still come by to take our drink orders or even given us silverware/water.  Needless to say, we left.  Another time we sat at the bar and were chatted up by the awesome bartender.

I would give this place 2 stars for the food, 1 star for the drinks, and another star for the ambiance.  However, the spotty service drops me down 2 stars to a measly 2.

I just had the lobster Cobb salad...bomb! It probably didn't have any nutritional value whatsoever but who cares when you're biting into large chunks of fresh lobster, bacon and avocado...yum!
2 stars for cocktails  2stars for awesome service and however many are left for the food.

My wife and I enjoyed a great dinner at McCormick & Schmick's last night.  Our server was very good and we only had to wait a minute once we checked in to get our table.

    Our meal included the following:

Pan-friend oysters with lemon/hot sauce aioli
Hawaiian trio: mong chong, mahi mahi, ahi
    Seared scallops
    Broccoli with lemon butter
    Roasted potatoes
    Mango cheesecake

I thoroughly enjoyed everything other than the ahi, which was seared on the outside only, and thus rare in the middle.  I should have asked about this when I placed my order because I hate rare fish, but my wife was more than happy to finish it off after I took a couple of bites.  The other fish was excellent, however.

The sides were adequate and nothing special.  I would say that McCormick & Schmick's needs to add a greater variety of side dishes to its menu.  What they offer is fairly standard for a steakhouse, but also not particularly complex.  Anything that appeared in the sides part of the menu was something that I could easily prepare at home in 15 minutes or so.

I have to call out the scallops as some of the best I've ever had.  I don't particularly care for scallops and usually only taste them if someone else orders them.  These were great and were something I'd actually order on my own.  I also enjoyed the vegetable risotto that accompanied them.

We got the mango cheesecake to go, and ate it 24 hours later.  It had macadamia nuts in it and was great.  A good way to go if you're getting dessert.

The most interesting part of the evening perhaps came after dinner.  I started to feel some gastrointestinal distress about five minutes after we left the restaurant.  I was hoping to make it home so that I could enjoy the warmth and comfort of my own commode, but it became clear as I got on the freeway that that wasn't in the cards.  I drove like a madman down 494, sweating profusely and writhing in agony.  I remembered that the Best Buy in Eden Prairie had a fairly decent bathroom, so I sped up, weaving in and out of cars, all the while trying to concentrate as my wife giggled at my misfortune.  Apparently the thought of her husband crapping his pants is instant entertainment for my wife.

I just barely made it to the toilet in time.  Major props to Best Buy for having a fairly clean bathroom that was well-stocked with industrial-sized rolls of single-ply toilet paper.  I have to recommend a change, though--the paper kept tearing off after I'd pull a single sheet down, so maybe double-ply or a different dispenser would be in order.

I don't know what happened--maybe it was that seared ahi--but it was truly an eventful evening.

The restaurant has a classic art deco feel. The food tastes amazingly fresh, priced a bit higher but so much better than oceanaire. I ordered the crabcakes, there are made with fresh chunks of fish, not like all the processed crab cakes I have had in the past. I can say with confidence that they are the best crabcakes I have  ever eaten! Fresh, chunky and crisp!

The atmosphere is relaxing and reminisent of the first half of the 20th century.

I would definitely return and have suggested it to many out of towners!

Walked in to this place on Tuesday night around seven and asked for a table in the dining room.

"Oh, there's a 25 minute wait to be seated.  Feel free to sit at the bar."

The beau looks at me annoyed (he's one of those "I-want-to-sit-and-eat-now" type dudes).  I look at the hostess with a "it's-my-birthday-and-only-tuesday-so-it-can't-be-THAT-busy" look on my face.  The manager walks up, smiles, and says to the hostess, "what are you doing?  There's plenty of seating right here."

The other hostess (who was super nice) must have had super hearing and super eyesight powers as she already had two menus ready for us the second the manager uttered the word, "what."

She walks us to the back dining room where... hmmm... imagine that - EMPTY! Well, besides like two booths with couples and a table of six, but you catch my drift.

Anyway - dinner consisted of a the stuffed salmon and steak and shrimp.  I wish I could comment on the salmon, but my lovely date wouldn't share because it was just that good.  The steak was pretty standard, but the crab/lobster stuffed shrimp - ahhhhhh (insert voices from the heavens here).  My meal came with some creme brulee. Not too shabby.

Just know that your protein comes with a few string beans and carrots or whatever.  In our case, we ordered a side of mashed potatoes as well to share, but that was too humongous.

Good meal even with the bad first-impression.  Total bill?  Around $90.  Oh, and the manager even stopped and greeted us again.  Surprised he had time to since the hostess made it seem like they were OH. SO. BUSY.

I've been to a lot of McCormick & Schmick's and I have to say this location had VERY poor service.

I went there with my family and the food was great, but because the service was so lack luster, I most likely wouldn't return.

Point in case, we had to ask our server for refills instead of her just bringing them.  She brought our food out at separate times, and my order was wrong twice.  No fun.

Food lives up to their standards, the service didn't.  Too bad.

    Service - 0-1 star.
I was in tonight and the service was horrendous.  We were in the restaurant for 30 minutes before our drinks came out (wine, cocktails) and another 10 mins before dessert came out.  It was 9PM and they weren't busy, so I don't get it.

When we asked for the server to take our order she came over and acted like we'd appeared out of nowhere.  Umm no, we had been sitting there for 10 minutes.

    Dessert - 2.5 stars.
It was good, but if it was warmer, I would have ventured farther from the hotel.  Nothing special.

I've only been here for happy hour.  They have pretty good prices on appetizers.  I believe Edina has some sort of ordinance against happy hour drink specials but somehow they get around it.

The food quality is alright.  Nothing was outstanding and nothing disappointed either.

Breakfast review. My parents were staying at the adjoining hotel and we stopped in for a bite to eat. We were able to enjoy out door seating and our waiter was more than helpful and kind. Why only 3 stars? While the breakfast was good it was also basic. We paid $9 for poached eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. The plates range from $9 to $15 for a seafood omelet which my brother enjoyed. Knowing that they don't specialize in breakfast it was still good food, excellent quality and a nice staff.

I would stop in if your staying at the Westin or shopping at the Galleria, but otherwise it may not be worth a special trip.

I ordered the paella from the lunch menu.  The paella was tasty.  It is not like a paella that you would get in Spain or in Puerto Rico but it was very good.  The chorizos used in the paella were Mexican chorizos which really don't go well with any paella.  I would recommend them to use Spanish or Argentinian chorizos to make the paella more real.  The quality of service is not as it used to be when they opened some years ago.  My glass of water was empty during most of my meal.  We felt quite abandoned by our server whom we had to ask to refill our glasses when we finally saw her.
I think I was overcharged for my lunch but did not want to make a big deal out of it and spoil my lunch with friends.

I went here for a business lunch today and was very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were.  They offered a great selection of $10 meals and an excellent menu of seafood options for under $15.  They even had a few items under $10.  After paying the same amount at Oak City a few weeks ago, I now know why that place was empty.  You can get infinitely better food, in a much nicer space, with classier staff for the same price at McCormick & Schmick's.

I tried the crab cake sandwich.  It was great, but too small for bun.  I ended up ditching the top and was much happier.  The fresh squeezed lemonade is excellent.  A couple of my table companions got the walleye cakes--they raved about them.

I will definitely be back for lunch.

Great happy hour food specials. You may pay top dollar for your drinks but the food is well worth it. The happy hour is Monday - Friday 3pm to 6pm and again from 9:30pm until 12am. I loved just sitting at the bar and watch the food creations go by, every time that I saw something new I had to ask the bar tender what it was, just so I could at it to my wish list for when I return.

They run a decent happy hour here, but with the patio seating closed for winter, it can feel pretty crowded. The $1 oysters were good in and of themselves, but I was disappointed that a) the oysters had not been loosened from the shell and b) I was given only one meager sliver of lemon to go with a half dozen. The House Sangria was not very fruity, the glass wasn't full and it was mostly ice anyway. On the other hand, the Half Pound Cheeseburger and Fries for $2.95 was a great deal, and the fries were fabulous. Service was prompt and attentive, and I would definitely check them out again, but only for happy hour.  Their regular menu is definitely on the spendy side.

I went here with two friends from work to check out the happy hour food specials because they looked good on the on-line menu and the prices seemed cheap.  We tried the tomato bruschetta, wings, rosemary fries, pita chips and artichoke dip, and peel & eat shrimp.  I was hoping to try their calamari, but that wasn't on the happy hour menu for today.  The fries were just addicting.  The bruschetta was also fabulous, as were the artichoke dip and the shrimp.  The shrimp was seasoned and came with some onions that tasted like they had been cooked in some nice vinegar.  The only thing that was so-so were the wings.  They were okay, but nothing special.  I didn't care too much for the dip that came with the wings because it tasted like ranch dressing even though I think it was supposed to be blue cheese dip.  I really can't complain at all about the food.  So why only 3 stars?  Well, the portions were small so while the food was good, I left feeling not very full.  They have a drink minimum requirement of $3.50 with their happy hour menu.  Our drinks, food, tax, and tip came to $39.  It's not a bad price by any means at $13 per person, but I guess I was expecting it to be cheaper for the happy hour.  Maybe I'm comparing it to my recent experience at Crave, where I spent the same amount of money after tax and tip, but left feeling full.

Our waitress was nice, but as soon as the place started filling up with more of the happy hour crowd, she spent more of her time with the older people, no doubt expecting a bigger tip from them.  I guess we looked younger and hence more broke?  We left a nice tip for her anyway because she was courteous and attentive when there were fewer people there ... and I guess I'm usually pretty broke so her assessment was at least partially correct.

I didn't even know that there was a restroom in the restaurant until I read Nicole's review.  Our waitress pointed us to the one in the lobby of the Westin.  I must say that it was quite an experience.  They have toilet seat covers (as somewhat of a germ-o-phobe, I LOVED this), self-flushing toilets, motion detecting faucets, AND motion detecting soap dispensers.  Everything was clean and the decor was done in a tastefully modern style.  Yes, the bathroom is in a corner of the lobby, which seems kind of random and a little far away from the restaurant, but I'm telling you that the bathroom experience is worth the walk.

The food was average in taste and not worth the prices.  The ahi appetizer portion was incredibly small as was the lobster pasta dish.  The scallop appetizer had one excellent scallop and one that tasted off.

After the appetizer course I excused myself to use the restroom.  Unfortunately there is only one restroom per gender for the entire restaurant inside the restaurant.  I waited outside the door for sometime until the maitre d abrasively asked me if I needed to be shown to the hotel lobby for the restroom.  It took me almost 15 minutes in all and by the time I returned my food had been served and started to cool.

Overall, the experience was not worth the fine dining price.  I would not go here again except for happy hour.   For $50 a person without alcohol, one would not expect to have to leave the restaurant to use the restroom.  And it wouldn't have been as negative of an experience if the woman showing me to the restroom had not been so rude.

I recommended McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant to my parents who were celebrating their wedding anniversary. My husband and I had recently celebrated our anniversary at the original Portland, Oregon, location. I wish they would not have listened to my recommendation.

I went with my parents for their anniversary dinner. My father and mother each, order the steak and lobster dinner special. It came with an appetizer and a dessert. My father asked for his steak medium rare and my mother asked for her stead to be cooked medium. The server read the order back and she said my father's order was medium well. Promptly, my father corrected her and said, "No, medium rare, please." When the food runner delivered the meals, my father corrected the runner and said, "No, I ordered medium rare." They sent all the meals back to sort out the problem. The server came out and told my father that his order was incorrect "because of your (his) accent." The server should have triple checked the order after my father corrected her with a "No, medium rare, please." Never, in any part of the night, did she apologize for her mistake, but instead she pointed the blame on my father, who has worked in the restaurant industry for over 27 years.  My father loves his red meat (he will eat it for every meal if he could) and has never, ever mis-ordered steaks in his life.

A supposedly memorable night was ruined. She corrected the order and the meals were delivered. The hostess informed us that my parents receive a complementary dessert because of their celebration. My parents began to relax and hoped to salvage what was remaining of their dinner. When the server presented the dessert tray, my mom requested for the chocolate cake for their complementary dessert to share. The server said they no longer were eligible for the complementary dessert because they ordered the special that included a dessert. The server then proceeded to up sell the desserts to my brother. My mom stated her disagreement that she no longer wanted the dessert that came with their dinner special, but that should would prefer the complementary dessert that the host had promised to her. The server tried to dispute my mom's request, but eventually gave up.

What a disastrous experience!! My parents aren't fussy and wouldn't bring this up to management or corporate, but I certainly will. They will not be patronizing any other McCormick & Schmick's restaurants for the years to come.

A restaurant patron would assume that servers are professional, especially at a McCormick & Schmick's establishment, but perhaps this server needs to be sent back to do the dishes and cleaning the stove hood grates instead.

I have very mixed feelings about happy hour here. Yes, they make a wonderful $1.95 cheeseburger. No, they don't have discounted drinks. It appears this place draws the early-bird dinner crowd. It is a little frightening to try and beat out the blue hairs to a table. If you go, try around 5:15 . They are done by then.

Love their happy hour. Drinks arent cheaper, but food is. It starts early, 3pm-7pm.  Edina is the worst, be on full alert while driving there...totally self absorbed drivers everywhere...Im sure the one DT is more fun. But this one is located in the new Westin Hotel, which is gorgeous.  Anyhoo, great cheap food, bar fills up fast.  Loving the 1.95 chicken sand with fries....

HAPPY HOUR REVIEW ONLY though..the dinners I have had were way expensive..lovely, but expensive..
