Worst McDonald's ever! Saying this is harsh, but I've been to McDonald's that are quick, polite, and get you the hell out of the door. I came here on a Sunday night at about 7:30p.m. in need of a salad. I went for my usual Southwestern salad standby. Walking in, I should have known that this place would upset. Standing there, I saw other patrons waiting to order or waiting for orders. It wasn't clear who had ordered or who hadn't. Total confusion. One guy manning the register pointed to me to order. Okay, so pointing equals ordering. Smooth! After ordering, I watched this guy point to other people to get their orders and mess up an order as well. This special breed of McDonald's employee even asked me what dressing I wanted on my salad. Dude, it's a Southwest Salad! Wouldn't it be the Southwest dressing?? I couldn't believe the disorganization at this McD's. If this guy was the manager, he shouldn't be. I shouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for a Southwest salad because you can't manage the McD's. Yeah, I knew why I avoided this place to begin with.
Review Source:The food is no worse than a typical McDonald's, but what makes this location lousy is that they always seem to forget something in the order. They almost always forget either croutons or the dressing pack for my salads, and on other occasions have forgotten hash browns in my breakfast and even a 20pc McNuggets. I think it's incompetence rather than something sinister, because even after I've complained on several occasions and now always check my order before leaving, they still manage to goof it up.
Review Source:I live in the building and I have seen many shenanigans unfold at this McDonald's location. Â Every now and then I build up the courage or drink enough alcohol to actually go into McDonald's for my beloved McFlurry. Â The staff act like someone beat them before they got to work. Â I mean, I understand - it is McDonald's. Â My boyfriend actually uses this location to study. Â His biggest complaint is that they block people inside when they're cleaning certain parts of the store. Â He believes that should this McDonald's ever catch on fire that he will surely perish in the flames.
Review Source:Disclaimer
This isn't so much a review on McDonald's food. Much like people have their preferences when it comes to Coke versus Pepsi, this review is not about food at all.
On the other hand, ever since the advent of wireless access at locations such as McDonald's, I wanted to find out if it was actually possible to get work done.
Although most people's preferences may vary, my general guidelines are as follows: wireless, seating, coffee/beverage availability, food, noise type/levels, power outlets.
Wireless
Not having to pay for stable wireless without having to steal someone's Wi-Fi is the most preferable. With AT&T Wi-Fi opening up its access to AT&T DSL customers, I was able to utilize wireless access for no additional charge.
Seating
Though you may be tempted by the comfy leather seats, these are a terrible choice for the tables that are next to them. That is, unless you are one of those people with an abnormally large torso. It may just work out for you. It didn't for me, so I ended up using the typical plasti-mold seats and tables.
Noise Type/Level
Typical for a McDonald's and obviously louder during lunch hours. Definitely not a top choice if you have to make/take business calls.
Power Outlets
For anyone that needs to work a significant amount of time, this is once again a terrible spot. There was only one accessible outlet.
Overall impression
Need to get a quick hour or two of work in, writing documents or sending out emails while eating McDonald's quality food? This may be your place. Otherwise...no.
