There was an ownership change, and now it's called Memo's.
Most of the menu (and resulting food) is pretty standard stuff, and pretty average quality. Â I used to be happy enough to get the enchiladas suizas, no better than other local mexican places, but also no worse. Â Restaurant choices are slim in downtown Springfield, and it was the best of the bunch.
Then I tried the carnitas michoacan - omg - seriously delicious slow cooked pork. Â Probably the best individual mexican dish I've had in the area. Â (At one time, I would have said the enchiladas from Red Agave, but that was before the ownership change)
The drinks are also tasty and strong, and it's stumbling distance to the EMX line at Springfield Station.
