Northstar Eatery

I first must say that I've never been able to visit Northstar during regular business hours. I'm unfortunately always working when they are open, which is a shame because I would live at this place if they serve as good of food as they did for us at our wedding.

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding at the Northstar Eatery. We're not a fussy couple and just wanted a casual place to dance and drink with friends and family. They gave us so much more. Tommy (the owner) and his brother went out of their way to make sure everything exceeded expectations. I showed up on the day with boxes of fruit, flowers, and homemade trinkets. He told me to just leave it and he would take care of setting it up. He did the most fantastic job of creating the most darling wedding I have yet to attend (of course, I'm a bit biased). Thank you so much to everyone at Northstar who made the day so effortlessly perfect for us. It was honestly the best decision we made during the whole planning.

Northstar Eatery is a nice patio to sit out and watch the softball games and the foot traffic go by in the park.  

Situated right by the softball fields south of the Lincoln Park Zoo, Northstar has a nice outdoor patio, partially shaded where I like to sit and have a beer and take in the afternoon.  There's a big screen TV to keep track of whatever baseball game is on.  It's my understanding that it's open only on the weekends, so keep that in mind, but it's alright with me since the weekends are the best time to lounge!  

The staff is friendly, always happy to see you.  The beer list is short but good.  The food is fun picnic type food (hot dogs, walking tacos, pizza, etc.).  The grill is right behind the food stand so you know it's made right there.

Overall I'm hoping to spend plenty of time there this summer!
