Subway

oh Subway.  oh dear.  this happens to be the closest food place to my job, so i test the waters on occasion, keeping the faith.  it's interesting how i find myself being almost bossy with the workers (not my personality at all), just because they will skimp on the basics like lettuce and always hide the spinach (i bet most don't even know some locations actually have spinach), giving you 3 leaves if you're lucky, yet keep forcing a footlong when you just want a 6-inch. are they told to skimp?  it seems the universal Subway-way. anyway, at least the workers at this local are moderately friendly;)

I don't know if it's just this subway or a lot of them but they are always really skimpy on their toppings, the dude gave me 3 banana peppers on a foot long.  Really? That isn't even enough for a 6 inch.  Even when i ask for more they don't add much more.  They are really friendly though.

Really? "we're out of tuna right now" Don't franchises have to carry the basic things on the menu? I mean...there's a Walgreens across the street. Go spring for a can.
