oh Subway. Â oh dear. Â this happens to be the closest food place to my job, so i test the waters on occasion, keeping the faith. Â it's interesting how i find myself being almost bossy with the workers (not my personality at all), just because they will skimp on the basics like lettuce and always hide the spinach (i bet most don't even know some locations actually have spinach), giving you 3 leaves if you're lucky, yet keep forcing a footlong when you just want a 6-inch. are they told to skimp? Â it seems the universal Subway-way. anyway, at least the workers at this local are moderately friendly;)
Review Source:I don't know if it's just this subway or a lot of them but they are always really skimpy on their toppings, the dude gave me 3 banana peppers on a foot long. Â Really? That isn't even enough for a 6 inch. Â Even when i ask for more they don't add much more. Â They are really friendly though.
Review Source:So, out of convenience, I come here sometimes. It's Subway, it tastes like Subway, but it's across the street from my apartment. The service is always nice, not always super quick, but you know, it's Subway. I come here when I'm too lazy to make my own sandwich, and will go back, because I love paying other people to do things I could do as easily in my house.
Review Source:Dude, I don't know. Â I never eat at Subway. Â But this is seriously one of the only places to eat at within a five minute walk from my apartment so I've been finding myself going to this one more and more. Â Before I moved onto Maplewood, it had probably been over a year since I had enjoyed the 'Bway. Â So I discovered that if you get the Veggie Max and dress it up the right way, it's totally acceptable.
Here's what really bothers me about this specific location: Â the last time I went here, the front door was really squeaky. Like obnoxiously so. Â One of the gentlemen working at the shop figured out that the best way to solve the loud door was to pour a little bit of oil onto the hinges. Â Standard procedure, right? Â Nah brah! Â Dude used the olive oil bottle that they use on the sandwiches!!! Shit's gotta be against health code or something. Â Either way, after seeing this shit shake down, I've deiced to cut Subway out of my diet once again.
