This is second time coming in store. The first time was good on Friday Night but Cashier kept talking to a old lady at bar and took awhile to take to my order. She was nice but a real Fluffhead. but this past Sunday My meal was awful. My burger had onions, which I hate and too much mustard. i called today to speak with owner and the cashier put me on hold for 10 minutes and never returned. When I called back her I couldnt make out anything the girl was saying. She was talking so off the wall I hung up. Strange people. Never going back

Low carb and gluten free heaven! Thank you no the knowledgable staff who helped me custom make a turkey taco salad so I could eat with my friends who were all also very satisfied. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. They had karaoke one Saturday night. There is not another restaurant in Chicago where everything is made with turkey. Great place. Great food.

So, I was super excited when this restaurant came to my neighborhood. I work just up the street and was glad to have another dining option. I was thrilled the first time I visited because they have great Turkey Chili and it was a great price for the amount you get. The fries were bland and just not my favorite, but that happens sometimes. Dipping them in the chili definitely helped.

My experience with them just went downhill from there though. The next time I wanted to eat there I decided to call ahead because the word in my office was that they took awhile, so I wanted to order ahead and pick it up. They put me on hold for an undetermined amount of time that felt way too long and then eventually hung up on me rather than coming back to help. I understand things happen like that by accident so I just called back and placed my order. They asked me what toppings I wanted on my burger and I said everything but ketchup. Unfortunately, my sandwich still received ketchup, which I hate -but once again -let it go, mistakes happen.

Then today, I called to place an order again and this is how the phone was answered, ".(long pause)....uh, just........um, can you just call back in 5 minutes?, We are super busy" Click. Really? that's how you are going to answer the phone? I was shocked.

I then proceeded to go to their website to share what had just happened because I was so disappointed and would've rather  addressed the problem with them directly and privately rather than leaving a public review about it. However, every button on their website that says "contact us" or "feedback" takes you to a page that only allows you to sign up for their mailing list and not actually send a message of any kind. Not a great way to do business either.

I guess I will be going down the street later to order my burger from Nookies, because no, I will not call back in five minutes.

A dream come true for those of us on low-carb diets, as well as those who for religious reasons eschew pork but still crave slow-smoked BBQ.  My husband's been bringing home turkey legs on his way back from work on the S. Side for years; in fact, we've created 6-legged Thanksgiving turkeys that way more than once.  I for one adore real 'cue, and don't mind eating pork (I'm Reform, but still let's not tell my rabbi); but the nearest good BBQ joint, Rub, is 3 miles away and doesn't deliver.  When I got Just Turkey's circular on my doorstep, I decided to drive over (they didn't deliver yet) and give them a try. The idea of "turkey ribs" seemed oxymoronic--I'd assumed (erroneously) that like McRibs they'd be ground turkey shaped into "slabs" and breaded/fried/sauced. So I passed them by for my old standby drumsticks.  Visions of the Taste and ren-fairs danced in my head.

Found a parking space right across the street. Walked in--saw the credit card decals (good sign).  The smell of sweet wood smoke--not fryer grease--hit me right away. Ordered my drumsticks and perused the menu.  Imagine my surprise when told by the franchise holder herself (who greeted me warmly) that I'd have to wait because meals are prepared to order: "no heat lamps and holding areas here." Second good sign.  I asked about the turkey ribs, and she answered that they are strips of turkey that are rubbed and slow-smoked  before being finished on the grill. Nothing is deep-fried unless you ask for it to be (an option for the ribs and wings) and none of the deep-fried turkey items are floured, battered or breaded. Third good sign. Made a mental note to try the "ribs" next time. Took awhile to get my drummers--but was offered a cold drink while I waited. Got my turkey legs home, and two legs fed three people for two days.

Why'd I deduct a star? Because the turkey was saltier than most smoked meats and I didn't know their smoked-meat orders would be drenched in a bland-ish sweet tomato-based sauce on a bed of pale fries unless I specified otherwise;  there's no price deduction for a no-fries order.  Guess they're trying to replicate the typical urban takeout rib-joint experience.  But next time I'll just ask for sauce on the side and put the fries in the freezer for those who can eat them. And there WILL be a "next time."

I ordered a grilled turkey salad. Much of my lettuce was wilted, and not fresh. The inside was clean, and so is the bathroom. But due to my wilted lettuce, I won't be back.

My husband and I went there last night.  We ordered the turkey tips and they were amazing!  Not only was the food great but the people working there were extremely friendly as well. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood.
