I wish the food was better - I've tried a few different things but none ever made me want to order it again.
I've done just drinks at bar - that was fine but it's usually crowded to get 2 or more seats next to each other. Â There was entertainment one night when I was there which made it a pleasant surprise.
Full disclosure: This is my home bar.
Pogue's is a fairly unique spot for Delco in the diversity they offer for a smallish pub. With mostly standard fare on the menu, they often have nice lunch and dinner offerings at great prices on their daily "special" board. There is usually a bargain available ($2.99 Cheese steaks with $2 Yuengleing Lager and Porter pints on Mondays, $3.99 lunches etc.)
They have a dozen taps with about half dedicated to domestics and the balance split between imports and microbrews. The owner is a bit of a beer bug so they have a constantly changing selection of bottled beer as well.
Although a local pub, there is ample seating for dinner and a fairly robust entertainment schedule featuring quizzo, bingo and open mic nights during the week and live acoustic acts and bands on the weekends.
If you like a modest pub with decent food, good beer and great value this is the place.
