Ahh the Red Front I never seem to miss you yet I come back every once and a while, it's like an abusive relationship.
Recent visits have been spurred by friends asking me to meet them there, I live in Columbus Park so it makes sense if I am going to go out to go there. The only problem is this place seems to care less and less about providing any level of service.
The beer isn't always cold though the drinks are reasonably strong. The decor needs to be changed, it feels like I am on the set of Robocop and everything tends to feel a little sticky.
The bartenders are all off in there own little worlds, I'd give it one star if the people watching wasn't so good.
This is a great bar if you're looking for someplace quiet with a laid back old school feel. Â
Drink prices, while not the cheapest in town, are appropriate for the style and feel of this cozy bar. Â The outdoor seating is great when the weather is right, but the bar itself is where I usually like to stay.
Some have called Red Front a dive bar, but I wouldn't call it that. Â To me, like Amanda S. and Emily S., it's more lounge than dive. Either way, it's a great place to meet friends, have a drink and relax.
