This is honestly in regards ONLY to their *new* food menu.

I have been a longtime customer of Remonds...been going for around 4 years now.  Their old menu was great...perfect bar food.  Waffle fries, fried mac and cheese bites, a serviceable burger etc.  They recently redesigned their whole menu in an effort to re-brand as an upscale "craft beer" bar and let me tell you the thing is a fucking debacle.

First of all, everything is frozen and re-heated.  Nothing is fresh. We ordered the sweet potato fries and I asked if I could try one before I ordered and the waitress told us they were "pre-portioned" in "bags".  The fries we did order (1 sweet potato, 2 parm and herb) came out soggy, greasy and lukewarm.

We also ordered the fried cheese curds, which were obviously frozen and re-heated.
They were TOTALLY inconsistent.  I feel like I got the remnants of the bottom of the bag. It was like something I would buy at Cost Co.  Some of the pieces were all dough, some of them were all cheese and all of them were again, greasy and lukewarm.  Also, they came out on a plate, on top of the marinara dipping sauce.  Just totally pretentious.  If you are going to go upscale, your food should be freshly prepared and consistently good.

I also got a burger which tasted like it had been dipped in water.

Everything was just really really poor quality.

I think their entire business model is cruisin for a bruisin.  LIke how can you go upscale and still do dollar wells? It is like, either be a shit bar or be a nice bar but you cant have both and you are doing both shitty right now.  The food could not have been worse.

Try again Redmonds.  I would go there for $1 wells and then get Al's Beef on the way home. Do not eat there.

If your a Wisconsin Badger fan, you will LOVE this place! Being from Wisconsin, it is always great to find time to go down to the bar to watch Badger football and basketball games with fellow fans. On Gamedays, you will often see people chugging beer from those large stadium cups while they yell at the TV over a bad call or scream when a big play is made.Although I do enjoy having a large crowd of sports fans around while out, this place can get TOO CROWDED during game days. If you don't get there an hour before the game, expect to stand! It's definitely for the younger crowd; but it can also be nice and quaint on more low key weekday night.

I haven't really tried that much of their food selection, but I USE to be a big fan of the Tuesday Night special with their 20 cent wing nights. I wasn't too pleased when I heard that they recently made their wings a smaller size foir this particular deal. It use to be a nice basket with decently sized wings, but now they are like three times smaller it seems. Maybe they weren't making enough money with the special, so I can understand a little bit.

Best special night? WEDNESDAYS for sure! I don't think anyone can beat $1 Well Drinks. It's not too crowded and you can have a seat at the bar to watch the games if you don't have those premium cable packages with no problem whatsoever. GO WISCONSIN!

This is regards to my experience with them from GrubHub last night.  Ok first the good news, after showing up nearly two hours after we had ordered, I received a text from someone at Redmond's that said it was on their way, and they had comped the meal because of the delay.  So this is reasonably good customer service.

Unfortunately, the food arrived ICE cold.  Ok I have a microwave, so perhaps I can save it.  But honestly this has to be one of the worst meals I have had in a long time.  Parmesan-garlic fries?  Ummm how about some completely soggy mess with absolutely no flavor or salt.  Pretzel sticks were absolutely tasteless as well, and again no salt.  The only thing reasonably good was the burger.

I had never heard of this place before finding it on GH, but it sounds like they have a bar business.  But if you're thinking of ordering takeout, I'd definitely look elsewhere.
