Seems to be a well-designed menu without the ability to properly carry it out. Â I expected it to be overpriced, given its location in the hotel, but I also expected, at these prices, to have good quality. Â The haricots verts in the bib-lettuce wedge salad were old and tough, though the rest of the salad was quite good. The $29 a la carte Rib-eye was cooked closer to medium-well than the medium-rare that was ordered (which is completely unacceptable) and was swimming in the au poivre sauce. The service was genial (though a bit forced) and they offered to redo my steak.
This could be a very good overpriced restaurant, but they need someone with better oversight.
Shor was an experience I would not like to repeat. We were staying at the hotel and this was the only option available for dinner. We had 2 servers who continued to ask us the exact same questions over and over again. One of the servers kept running around like a chicken with his head cut off. The food came and was pretty lackluster. As residents of the area, we definitely will not be back.
