Last weekend I attempted to do a duel birthday for myself and my friend. I had spoken three times with the head manager there to confirm our reservation. After I had requested holding tables for 10 people - he generously offered a complementary bottle of champagne! All was good!
The night of the party rolls around and the bouncer has NO idea who I was, nor did he have record of my party that I called three time to confirm. Luckily there were a few extra tables in the back that were open - since none were reserved.
As per a normal Saturday night - most friends all come in at different times. Each person that said my name at the door, but the bouncer said he had no idea of the party and had to call his manager to see if they could even be let in. SUPER EMBARRASSING since I had invited all these people who were under the impression they would be let right in for a reserved party.
Lastly, when we went to the bar to request our complementary bottle of champagne, the bartender had no idea what we were talking about (of course) and refused to honor the agreement that the manger had stated to me on the phone.
Overall we ended up having a good night, but it was VERY disappointing to clearly make a reservation and to show up and have it be totally gone!
My advice - don't expect to get great service by the managers or doormen. If you want to  have drinks with your friends - head somewhere else.
I can only review the batting cages, as I just went here for a little batting practice. Never again. The softball cages have always been marginal at best, and now have degraded to useless. One didn't work at all. One only gave me five pitches per token, all above shoulder level (and I'm 6'3"). The third at least was giving ten pitches, but they were all around the ankles. For $10 and 7 tokens, I got maybe 3 good pitches. And there was nobody to be found behind the counter when I went to seek assistance. It's too bad; I'd go here  all the time during softball season if their cages were any good at all.
