What can you say about subway that hasn't already been said? Â It is the largest restaurant chain in the entire world, even bigger than McDonald's!
So, what is subway all about, basically you have to make three decisions every time you go in:
1: What kind of bread do you want? Â Subway actually has a good selection of breads and they are all fresh baked and pretty tasty. Â They even have flat bread now which a type of flat, dense, bread that is a very nice diversion from the standard breads. Â Point goes to subway.
2: What type of meat/meatless sandwich do you want? Â Again, subway has a very good variety here, ranging from cold cuts to chicken to meatballs. Â I would like to say that the meatballs are my favorite sandwich topping. Â They even have a vegi-patty that is somewhat like a vegiburger. Â You also can put cheese on top of that. Â Point again to subway.
3: What type of veggies/sauce do you want? Â I give subway points for variety, but have to take away some for blandness. Â Subway has a habit of having veggies that are not always top quality. Â A little gripe I always have, the banana and jalapeno peppers sometimes still have the stems on them, not a part that is enjoyable to eat. Â Besides that the sauces are standard, ranch or mayo or others derivatives of those.
All in all I like subway mostly for the price, they have footlong subs for $5, a very good deal in my opinion than many other places to eat on campus. Â The food is reasonable, and there is enough variety you will not get bored of the food too easily.
