Viewhouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop

was in town to see family friend play for DU. Had a great time with bartender named Matt.  He went above and beyond the call of duty, made quite an impression on all the members of my party.  Its always great to entertain and made to feel like a rock Star, Matt (don't know his last name) was the man and I would recommend all visitors and Denver elite to stop in at Viewhouse and party with Matt.

I am from Pa. and was in Denver on business for a few days the week of September 16. I decided to catch a Rockies game on Tuesday night. When I left the game, I walked across the street to the View House to grab a late dinner. I walked in a sat down at a table in the center of the room near the outside area. I sat for well over 30 minutes with numerous waitresses walking by me multiple times. None of them stopped to ask me if I wanted anything, not even a drink. A waitress I had noticed seemingly busier than any of the others, finally stopped and asked if I had been waited on. When I said "no", she was genuinely upset and apologetic. She immediately said she'd be right back and that even though it wasn't her section, she was going to take care of me. Her name was Cara. She is by far the best waitress I have ever had anywhere in the world. Friendly, very knowledgeable of the menu and brewery, and an awesome sense of humor. I was on the verge of leaving out of frustration and ended up leaving considering it a positive experience because of her and the effort she made to make me feel at home there. The food was good, but Cara was the best and earned the 4 stars. Had it not been for her, I would have rated it a zero. To the owners/ management of the View House, give that girl a raise and consider putting her in charge. She's bright, engaging and from what I saw that night, has a work ethic and sense of responsibility that set her apart from most. I look for people like her for management positions in my business.

I visited the Viewhouse this past weekend for the first time and let me tell you, it is "Bad Ass"! I am from Houston, and wish we had something like that down here. Everything from the food, to the drinks(may be a ill pricey), to the "View", to the service(I believe it was Maja, Mark, and Matt??) was outstanding! What we thought was going to be a little bar tour, turned into an all night party at the Viewhouse. My friends and I left in stitches after chatting with the bartender from Detroit all night. I will definitely be coming back the next time I am in Denver! Keep up the great work.
