Ok, ready your rotten tomatoes... I've got to confess that I just don't get it.

The burgers are good, but overpriced. The fries are nothing to write home about, but they do fry up a tasty onion ring.

The ordering set up is a mess. I don't mind ordering at the counter and grabbing a seat but if I can't hear you call my name, how am I supposed to know it's ready? On my last visit I gave up and hung out near the window which just seemed to irritate the kitchen staff.

The Flea has Divey Kitsch NAILED, but for me it's just not enough.

Excellent burger but after paying 21 dollars for two burgers you must pay another 5 dollars for two fountain drinks no thank you total bs rip off  also servers should bring the food to you because all they do is bring the drinks not cool

Let me first say that the food here is amazing and if it was only that, I would rate it much higher.  The lower rating is specifically because of a horrible experience I had on one of their Karaoke nights.  I have been singing karaoke for years and when visiting different towns, I like to check out the karaoke scene.  Since I had some great dinners at the Flea market, I thought it would be a cool experience.  However, the karaoke host there last night (Saturday) was horribly inexperienced, even though he said he had been doing the job for 5 years.  I arrived about 9:15 and sang my first song at 9:30, and put in my 2nd request.  I started noticing, about 10:30 that he kept pushing previous singers as new people came in.  At 11:30, I went up to ask how much longer it would be and he said "it's gonna be a while".  I explained that he really should have a rotation set up and feed the new singers into it.  

He said "you will just have to wait".  I replied that I might as well have left after my first song, since it looked like I would not be singing again.  He said the place was packed and he was trying to get all the new singers in.  I said I was leaving.  He came back to the table where I was getting ready to leave and said "Look, I have a lot of people and you have already sung, they haven't."  I said "Yeah, they have been here 15 minutes and I have been here 2 1/2 hours."  He then said "you are just ungrateful."  Really?  An employee telling a customer, who has been paying for food and drink all night, that they are ungrateful?

I complained to the manager, who said that she has had problems with him before.

In a nutshell, go for the food but AVOID going to karaoke on Saturday night.  Go to the Dueling Piano bar down the street.  It was packed as well and there was no chance I would be able to hear the song I wanted to, but I had a much better time hearing the pianists sing than I did hearing drunk sorority girls butchering "Baby Got Back" and being allowed to sing back to back songs because they listed their names individually.  Horrible, just Horrible.
