I almost want to give it two stars because I have experienced better. 7venth Sun was on the list of a one day, self guided brewery tour Richard K. & I decided to partake in. I wasn't particularly fond of the lack of variety in their selection they had to offer. No dark beers whatsoever? C'mon man. There could be a number of explanations as to why their selection was so poor. Unfortunately, that's the product they had to offer. No bueno. And what's up with all those patrons staring. Have they not seen Asian people before? Or is it weird that two male friends are having a couple beers together? Or maybe we're weirdos for bringing food with us while we drank? I honestly don't understand what people thought was such a spectacle; but way to make a guy feel like an outcast. No thank you, 7venth Sun.

I love their beer. In fact I think their beer is better than Dunedin Brewery's fare. That being said this microbrew bar is little more than a tap and some tables and chairs. Great beer and sometimes interesting people. House of Beers has a lot of fun games and a dive bar feel. Dunedin brewery is always packed and has some sort of entertainment. This place has beer and seats and people...

Its not for the faint of heart, it's for the beer faithful.

Want an IPA that goes to eleven? They have it.

I also tried a Brett d'Or. This is made with a different kind of yeast brings out a kind of citrus flavor. <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fen.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FBrettanomyces&s=4739f1a2f6b3dc54959041edafb5f5a1e260b456e653581aab34e9ae940f0f99" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://en.wikipedia.org/…</a>

They have a cozy taproom near the beach and aren't afraid to crank the music up.

They had a lively crowd and a good time was had by all.

Is it for everyone? No, but wouldn't it be a boring world if it were?

This is a  fairly new brewery in Dunedin that is putting out alot of great beers..it is a really small place in a pretty run down shopping center but don't let that scare you off....the beer's the thing right??....well it better be good cause there is not much seating inside..they do have an outdoor "patio".. and there is not a TV to be found and the ambience is non-existent....but guess what their constantly changing line-up of beers is consistently excellent and that more than makes up for the rest...they make some really hoppy IPA'S which I love ;having been weaned on the more hoppy West Coast Beers....they have done some interesting Berliner Weisses lately as well.. I like that they sell all their beers in numerous sizes also..4 OZ..12 OZ..16 OZ and Growlers To-Go..these guys both used to brew at Sweetwater and they have taken what they learned there and improved on it..really a strong addition to the exploding Bay Area Craft Beer Scene..make a day of it in Dunedin by coming here..Dunedin Brewery..and eating at one of the many excellent restaurants in Downtown Dunedin

Another great Florida brewer! The staff is knowledgeable and the beers are solid. The ginger persimmon berliner weisse was amazing! I don't know if I would have tried anything else if we hadn't killed the keg. I'm glad I had the chance to try the pinkberry muffin berliner weisse. My husband enjoyed the DIPA. I can't wait to go back.

If this brewery were closer I would be here much more often.  It is nice to come here though, go for a bike ride and hit up the brewery afterwards.  It is a very small space, but they have a nice little outdoor patio area with a decent amount of seats.

The beer the brew here is great and I love filling up my growlers here.  The DIPA is probably my favorite, but the pale ale and the graffiti orange are nice as well.  My most sought after beer I bought from here has been the Four Roses Super Fly.  Very tasty.

Small but great! Great variety, and quirky place for a fresh brew. Don't bring a bunch of friends..it really is tiny, but worth the stop.

They have a nice selection of beer styles to try and you have the option to taste a smaller pour if you aren't sure how you will feel about the beer. Several of their beers are higher ABV and the staff is knowledgable. There is comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and that all makes this a nice place to go and spend some time chilling out. On my next trip to the area, I would certainly go back.

TINY brewery but with some solid beers. The Evil Genius (dry sparkling cider ale) was my favorite.  Kind of on the outskirts of what's happening in downtown Dunedin, but it's not that far away from it and gives the locals a great option for hanging out with some good beers.  Outdoor seating available if the day/night is up for it.

Great little brewery in charming Dunedin that's pumping out a lot of great beers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they have a passion for beer. I'll be visiting them as much as possible during my month long Florida visit..

    Also free wifi!

It's so great that this area has yet another craft brewery making fine beers. 7venth Sun is very small, but quite comfortable with additional outside seating. The beer-tender was very helpful and allowed us to taste anything before ordering. I like that they have 4 oz, 12 oz, and 16 oz pours, plus some that are available in growlers.

I had the French aged FYA (an IPA), which was outstanding. Very good citrus aroma, with a strong hoppy flavor. I also tried the Belge d'Or. I am not usually a fan of Belgian style ale, but this one is light and crisp, and very refreshing.

I tasted the "creamsicle" flavored beer just out of curiosity. It's really interesting! I don't think I could drink a whole glass of it, but anyone who likes sweeter beer will love this one.

I'd like to see some of their own porter or stout on the menu next time. They are barrel aging a bourbon barrel ale now, and I look forward to trying that.

After hearing so many people rave about their orange creamsicle beer, I had to stop in and try it out for myself.

This is a very very small brewery, with just one 1 counter and a few bar stools inside as well as a few tables out on the sidewalk and patio. It could easily get packed on a Friday night.

First thing I noticed (and liked) was the 4 oz sample size offered on the menu, so you can try a small order of any of the beers before getting a bigger one. I ordered a mini orange creamsicle, it was pretty tasty, lighter than other citrus based beers I've had before, but not as great as I expected it to be.

My absolute new favorite beer was their "Key Lime Sublime", which had such a delicious light and fruity flavor it was most definitely one of my new all time favorites!!

Overall the prices are pretty reasonable (about $2 for 4 oz, $4 for 12 oz or $6 for 16 oz depending on which one you get) and I like that all the beers are local, with the exception of a few "guest" beers that they rotate on the menu.

    Will most definitely be back.

Great little brewery doing it their way. They have a wide array of tasty brews. On my visit I tried a few samples mainly of their Belgian inspired beers and all were top notch. They also have a good bit along the hoppier lines and do a barrel aged program as well. I was fortunate enough to stop by on a day they had a bottle release of their Brett Saison Extreme which is one of their regular beers that has been placed in a bourbon barrel with brettanomyces added. What a magnificent beer that was! Very happy to have a brewery like this in Florida, lets give California a run for it's money!

Why 4 stars? Because this is a great local brewery.

I don't make it out to Northern Pinellas County much, but I feel like Dunedin is easily my favorite town in that part of the Bay Area. I haven't spent a lot of time in the area... but what I have seen I've really enjoyed.

7th Sun has some really unique flavored beers like graffiti orange (creamsicle), kiwi cherry coconut, and mango black peppercorn really set it apart from the competition. It's small, quant, and cool with friendly people working there.

Overall, I sold and will definitely check them out again!

This place is so awesome!! If you happen to find yourself in Dunedin Florida do not miss it! It is teensy tiny and full of some of the best beer around! We were at Dunedin Brewery (also excellent) and were sent this way to try some of the fantastically unusual beers they are brewing there. They throw in fantastic flavors to some already stellar beer bases, pink peppercorn, mango, local coffee, etc etc. Get a taste of everything, drinking just one beer will leave too many good ones behind! Not to mention their swag is top of the line, great shirts and hats, you'll want to buy them all!

Tiny but packs a punch! Better beer than the other breweries in Dunedin. Don't bring too many friends unless you want to sit outside. This place has the best orange beer - must try and thank your fellow Yelpers for this great find!

This was my first visit to this brewery and believe me even though I live 4 hours away, it will not be my last visit. This is a small establishment, which makes for an intimate experience that I love about microbreweries. The bartender was knowledgeable and really friendly. They had about 11 different beers on tap which makes a great variety for a sampler. I found flavors that I liked, flavors I didn't care for, but all in all I love the flavor profiles the brewer is aiming for. Prices are comparable to any pub. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I'm not sure I want to write this review, because, selfishly I might add, I want this miniscule brewery to remain small. It's not going to happen, though. Word will continue to spread throughout Florida and nationwide, and it will become the next Cigar City, or at least the next Funky Buddha. Not that either of those are very "large" by beer industry standards, it's just that they are more well-known, if you catch my drift. But for 7venth Sun, these are the salad days, right now. Go and enjoy while supply and demand are still in reasonable equilibrium, while you can still get a growler fill of that awesome Wolfman's Berliner Weisse to take home. I love breweries like this....small and just brewing whatever interesting beers it wants to brew, changing things up all the time.

It's a friendly place, and the beers are not only interesting, they are also very well-brewed. What's not to love? I tried everything on the menu, and there was nary a dud to be found. Standing out in particular for me were the two Berliners - the aforementioned Wolfman's, and the Sun & Sword, a Nelson Sauvin-hopped collaboration with nearby Dunedin Brewery. Grafitti Orange Creamsicle is also not to be missed if it's on tap, a light, refreshing wheat beer that somehow truly does taste like an orange Creamsicle. Buddy Brune was also outstanding, a brown ale brewed with Ethiopian coffee - I could really taste the quality of the coffee used in the brewing of that beer.

There was nothing I tasted that I didn't like, and I felt at home - I basically had to be dragged from the brewery kicking and screaming. I'll be saving my empty growlers for the next trip up.

10 original brews and assorted guest tap beers. I believe hardcore beer lovers need to check 7venth out. No food but chippies to side the brews. You get hungry, crawl to any one of our fab Dunedin eateries within a few blocks! I tasted my first sour brewed beer here! Different! The tapmaster knew his beer as I got a good start in beer education! Based on Yelper Lauren's orange creamsicle beer selection, I followed suit! They call it a Graffiti Orange with the creamsicle tagline. Tasty! Bottom line, it's a fun place to educate yourself on beer! :D

Went to this place last weekend, yes it's super small so thats my reason for the 4 stars but the beer is great. The variety of beer was fantastic and to my surprise I even enjoyed their Intergalactic Ipa. The girl tending ot everyone indicated they close at 12 which is unfortunate but I understand. The outdoor seating at night is also nice, they should add more. Great location and a short walk from everything in Dunedin, I will definitely be back!

A short walk from downtown Dunedin. We strolled over here for a change of scenery after Dunedin Brewery. It's VERY small but quaint atmosphere. What is it about a chalkboard menu that gets me every time? I had the orange creamsicle beer. It was tasty and I would come here again as a place to grab a beer before or afer dinner in Dunedin.

Teeeeny tiny brewery, but very awesome beer and staff.  They open up at 5 which is pretty late for Dunedin and they don't have any food to speak of, but they more than make up for it with their beer.  They have about 10 beers on tap with one guest tap, and have a few limited edition bottled items that they bottled by hand.  They also offer smaller sized growlers for $4 and fills for a mere $10.

What most impressed me is that they were capable of making light beers that weren't overpowered by hops and dark porters that don't coat your mouth in syrup.  The guy running the place was very helpful with suggestions based on other items you like.

I really regret that we live so far away from Dunedin and don't often have a reason to visit the area, because Seventh Sun is definitely one of my favorite up and coming breweries.  They apparently also have plans to expand into the empty suite next door and when they do they will be able to brew more and be open a little earlier.  I also have to agree with the previous reviewer that the bathroom is remarkably clean.  Go here, go here now!

Oh and be sure when you go to ask for the tour!  ;)

Was aware of this place from a previous review spotted on Yelp. So, after a 13 hour work day, I was ready to head out for a drink! It was a small, quaint brewery that had about 10 drafts available and I believe 8 or 9 of them were their own brew. They also offered some bottled beer and mead. The owner of the brewery was there and one other young lady was helping her out. They were very attentive and even came out from behind the bar to make sure we were enjoying our selections. Like most beer bars they will let you sample anything you want. It wasn't overly crowded but there was a good group of people in there, very friendly clientele and all had good things to say about this brewery. Per other customers they are constantly changing their brews and I was notified of some interesting infusions, I can not wait to see what they will have out next! Will definitely be heading out to this brewery again soon and often!

During our Florida National parks and Breweries Road Trip in April, we made a quick stop at 7th Sun Brewery in Dunedin after leaving Dunedin Brewing. Definitely glad we stopped in. 7th Sun is TINY! But, they have seating inside and outside and have a nice selection of beers. My husband had the FYA Extra Pale and I had the Special Brownies Belgian Brown Ale. Mine was tasty. Staff was friendly, The place stayed busy and they had a clean bathroom!

They don't have a website yet, but they post up to date info on the brewery, the beers and what's getting tapped this week on their Facebook page!

We really were only there long enough to have one beer since we'd already had a drinking head start before arriving, but this is definitely a must visit if your doing a brews cruise!
